Been playing the bass for 47 years, and love this! Top guy for sharing with everyone.
Great video man. Love your stuff.
Don’t listen to the guys telling you your videos are too complicated. There are plenty of beginner videos on YT and in my opinion not enough advance ones like you’re making.
Keep at it! 👍
haha, thanks man! I am glad there's a bunch of people who appreciate what I'm doing. thanks for the support!
Love your explanations. Simply and without putting "too much water in your talking" like Scott did in most his videos.
Awesome!! AND I am 70 years old with a 50 year history of playing professionally for a living - THIS is exactly what I enjoy about playing bass...I'v been told I "sound like Jaco" ...had some Kuru-isms happening but BUT this is the real deal! thanks
Subscribing to your channel is one of the best things that I have done recently as a bassist. Really glad to see your videos popping up in my feed now.
You just blew my mind away sir. Thank you!!! May the bass be with you!!!
I barely play bass, but watched this lesson and added it to my favorites. Guitar players like myself could learn a lot from this.
Thanks a lot, I haven't been practicing enough lately and this inspired me to pick up my bass more. You're a monster on the bass!
Thanks for opening my mind up to these things! Now I need to spend time opening up my fingers. There is so much meat here. Thank you.
Bro I really want to appreciate you for taking your time to share your knowledge God bless ☺️
Yes indeed, great lesson, thanks for sharing

you are truly blend of all the amazing bass player!
Subscribed always!
thank you!
Thank you for these lessons I am a guitarist just starting bass so it is very helpful
Amazing phrasing and a REALLY clean technique! Thanks for sharing!
This guy ROCKS the bass! Perfect tone. And he does it on Squier. Proves it's more the player than the instrument... plus the squier VM line is actually a very well made bass these days
You're good!! Thanks for the influence and knowledge
Always keeping it fresh
great sharing. Thank you mate. your bass sounds superb!

awesome friend, really really helpful lesson
Thanks for the lesson!👍🏼👏🏼
At my ripe old age, I've only just learnt the pentatonic scale, so this video is beyond me at the moment - but I'm going to bookmark and come back to it every so often (... I love the way he says "right!!!!" :)
Honestly, i think it's easier if you're older because you'll learn the RIGHT stuff. At least that's what i think :D hahaha Thanks for the support. Cheers!
Lovely bass tone man, cool lesson.
This is really good mate. I find etudes are a really good way to practice everything so thank you
thanks! yeah i used to write a lot of etudes using pentatonics in various subdivisons. I need to dig up my old hand written charts haha
Thank you for sharing.
Muito , maravilhoso.
Thank,you
Thank you bro it’s helping a lot 👍👍
Nicely done,thank you
It Sounds like easy! Very cool video!
Amazing!
Awesome lesson. I don't play bass but I know that this applies to any instrument.
Nice man! Great tone and technique
A great way of getting another tool, using the approach of sequences of intervals....you can just pop an interval on a certain scale and repeat it going up 3rds you get killer sounds. And you rock man, also showing the struggle of getting it, no finished up, mixed and mastered, produced piece shows the "ugg almost there" feeling when you practice, climbing up. That is really the Jaco major pentatonic sound deconstructed as a practice routine with the cromatic touches here and there. great stuff. Cheers and thank you for the inspiration, I'm going to add this to my routines!!
He literally mentions that exact excersise at the start of the video
Awesome examples lots of love from tel aviv!
Awesome vid! Instant subscribed
Great lesson!! Thanks :)

HI Anthony, thanks for the upload. You have great skills and the tone from that Classic Vibe is lovely. One little request, could you slow down your theory breakdown a little please? my brain isn't as young as it used to be! Keep up the excellent work and thanks once again.
great lessons, playing along backing track at the end of vids would be perfect..
When I learn to play this fast I'll be walking with a sigar, bass on my side and my shades 😎.
You are fantastic! Thanks for excellent vids.

That Squier sounds fantastic.
he's playing a Squier?!
Yep, think its one of the Classic Vibe series. Sounds fantastic though, doesn't it?

It's all in the hands, Anthony. ;-)
pentatonics became a lot more interesting for me when i began to start them on different degrees of the scale. for instance a G pent or a B pent over an Fmaj7.
