Noooop! I used Goo Gone and it's good! Spray on wait some minutes depending on the thickness of the dip, spray some more. Let it soak in and do its work and then use a rubber scraper to remove it! IF it has soaked in properly and you patiently have waited, it's like removing melted cheese. :D
what if you care about the paint? I gotta hood with 5 yr plasti i need removed so i can trade in my car. if i do it real quick like and wash it right after will it really jack up the paint? the paint is 13 yr old silver paint that is in pretty good shape on a toyota fj. thanks.
When it shivels up like that, has has been on for 9-10 years it doesn't peel like it once would have. If you notice the front driver side corner had a small portion missing where I had tried to peel it.
I feel like I was victimized. I watched about a minute of this video and now I'm victimized. What do you expect from a product that you had on the car for that long. If you wouldn't have been so cheap and actually sprayed it on thick enough you would have been able to peel it off as advertised.

What is this Goo Gone you speak of?
@@officialWWM from Walmart
@@Phuong_Nguyen_ we don’t have Walmart in Australia :/
@@officialWWM You have to spray it on, leave it for 2-3 mins, spray more and repeat, until it fully softens and makes the plasti dip loose
@@RedlioNxTR ok, thanks.

why are you wiping plasti dip, if you put in on thick enough you just have to peel it off & I've done this many times

@@RobsGarage 5 yr old plasti just flakes too, it aint gonna come of in one piece at all.
Why not just peel it
