@@somethinguseful2935 I have had grinding disks and wheels explode, (have scars to prove it). What you promote doing could get you sued if someone does as you suggest and an accident happens. It is a known unsafe practice. Saying do it makes you responsible.

Most grinding wheels are not made to be used on their sides. This is dangerous unless the wheel is specifically made for side grinding.
Yes, correct. Clever note. But here we don't need to press the drill bit against the wheel too much. Just touch a little to sharpen the edges.
