Walmart now sells the Hyper Tough wrench 900 ft lb for $100. It will be stronger than this wrench if you buy the 6 Ah battery of Clutch.

I would get some marine heat shrink tubing slide it over the area that is prone to wear. Marine heat shrink tubing has glue inside which will hold it to the rope and the heat shrink tubing is much more abrasion resistant than Scotch tape. Should last several hundred hours. You could also use this fix over the fuel line where it rubbed against the starter housing. As long as it hasn't rubbed all the way through slide the heat shrink on it shrink it up a little and it will reinforce the hose. It will also cut down on vibration.

There is another video on RUclips in which a guy tests this Bauer for actual torque on a dyno......he got 620ft lbs.....not the 1020 ftlbs advertised but still very good numbers......I will be buying one on black Friday for 59.00!!!!thanks!!!

Great video!.....you should have not lubed those bolts though.....but at the end you were able to get that rusty bolt off !.....I will return my Menards impact wrench and buy the Bauer !!!!!thanks!

Nice invention. One thought… if a different color replacement grease is used than the existing grease color, you will know when all the old grease is pushed out when the new grease color comes through. Just a thought. Thank you for your video.

That wrench doesn't have 800 ft lbs torque on its best day. Read the spec sheet carefully. It has 300 ft lbs. Also, there is no such thing as break away torque. A wrench has no idea whether it's tightening or loosening. It doesn't know whether it is tightening a right hand thread or loosening a left hand thread. It's just directional forward or reverse. Same torque output either way.

I bought one of these because I don't like batteries and it was the only corded option. It's a BEAST. A bit unwieldy fir garage duty, but awesome when something needs persuaded. The other day I had a really rusty bolt on a balljoint. It was like a continuous 80 ft-lb grind. Put this thing on and "KDDDDReeee!" Almost lit the Liquid Wrench on fire, the nut got so hot. Gnarly!

The moment you start masking tape your close wrench socket. I'm done greasing my bearing too much waste of time.

This is so stupid , just pop the seal off ! And you are not cleaning the bearing before you grease it , so dumb.
