Hello friends,
Welcome back to my channel. In today's video I have shared information about how to use Clay Balls also know as LECA (Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate). These are also called Hydroponic/Aquaponic Balls as they are used to grow plants in water without soil. These balls are made by heating clay around 2000 degree Fahrenheit. This amount of heat makes these balls very lightweight with a lot of pores within them. These pores retain moisture and oxygen and help the plants to grow. In spite of being so lightweight they are extremely hard and do not break easily which makes them recyclable. You can use these clay balls again and again year after year without getting damaged. In this video I have shown how to use clay balls from beginning to end for potting of 4 different plants. What about the plant nutrients/fertilizer? Plants need the necessary nutrients. Which ones to use?

I normally don't use fertilizers in clay balls but it's always healthy to use fertilizers and nutrients. 😊

Kg doesn't matter for Clay Balls because you will use it to fill containers. So it's the volume which matters not the weight. Litre is the unit of volume, so u can estimate how much you need in terms of litres
