Why does the title say "plants that grow* ONLY IN Water"? They can grow also in soil. Better growth always in soil.

The only downside is that the stagnant water attracts breeding for insects. So make sure water is always clean and change if you wanted to move on. With this idea.
Put dunks in the water. No mosquitoes.
Please show a follow up video to see whether the plants survive or not.

I've been doing this recently because I'm a known plant killer and I've tried different plants and so far so good. But thank you so much for actually naming/showing us which plants are right for keeping them on water. I'd be getting the other plants you have shown here for this purpose.

so as I'm watching you take cuttings I think "hang on, I've got this plant, or I have that plant, and I have similar plants to some of these". so now I know I can go out and take some cuttings from my own garden, thus saving me some money...also a good excuse to use up some glassware that's not being used here at home...just need to buy stones...OH, and find a spot or three to place them...
Exactly what I was thinking. Have almost all of these and spare glasses and bowls which I was wondering what to do with. I have been thinkingbif making a terrarium and this gives a wonderful range of which plants I can use indoor.

No. I have a water garden like this. We can grow in water directly.
They can be. I use this method to keep cuttings going through the winter. Then in spring I can pot them and put them outside.
Either way. Plants displayed in water like this are so elegant.

You did not show if the plants actually grow roots or not
they will, mostly, there might be times when they do not survive so you just get another cutting. I have tried philodendron, monstera, spider plant, pothos, money plant, they all rooted well.

I bought one like this, it is plastic from the dollar store. It has a screw on cap with a straw in it! I ended-up throwing it away because the neck is too small to be able to remove the plant once it has lots of roots without damaging them.

Thinking, better to say for limited time, those aren't really water plants or at least bog plants. If you want your plants thrive in water take water hyacinths or iris water and any others.

How long will these plants survive in those glass jars? I have had these plants before and they all died in the containers I bought them in, so I don’t see how they will survive in a fish bowl? Great video.
