This goes to Rivals as well when a drop of an EDM song plays, they press their Turbo, and get the feeling of energy flowing into their veins. Rivals' soundtrack was lit as fuck, it had tons of EDM songs in it.
Finally someone else that appreciates 2015's music, it's really underated and it serves to prove the point that modern music is not bad but Unbound's selection is dog shit.
The music of the game needs to fit the game’s theme. 2015, at least in my opinion, had a more laid-back, downtown-lowlife feel, and the music fit it perfectly. It reminds me of visiting my older cousins in Iowa when I was a kid, back when Counting Stars and Shut Up and Dance was everyone’s jam

Yeah it wasn't perfect, but it was the long lost Underground 3 we'd always wanted. The whole vibe of the game was awesome, and to this day it's my favourite NFS game since the Underground series.
Actually it was great. Avicii was featured there in the soundtrack on his song Pure Grinding (RIP to the legend) and also Congorock from NFS Rivals is back with his track Black Sun. Aero Chord, an artist from Monstercat, debuts from the game's soundtrack with his 2 energetic trap songs: Break Them and Surface. Those are the tracks that I liked. Vikings by Botnek was pretty sick as well.

I loved the rap and trap in the garage when customising, the slightly slower pace stuff when exploring was great and then the high energy drum & bass was perfect for racing. I loved the gritty & industrial atmosphere of the city, plus the fact that it was always night time really gave it that Underground feel. I actually liked the cheesy storyline as well lol, it was light-hearted and wholesome if you didn't take it too seriously. Graphics and customisation were amazing too. The handling model was weird of course, but that's my only complaint really. All in all, the game was a perfect balance of nostalgia and originality, and I think it's one of the most underrated games in the series.

Even with all the cringe and rubberbanding NFS 2015 was still the most fun of the newer ones to me, i loved having famous car guys in game and how the night looks, it aged better than Heat to my eyes, it's a shame the always online is going to eventually make the game unplayable

Nfs had legends behind the soundtracks back in the day. For reference, JunkieXL, who composed the Prostreet soundtrack, also did movies like Mad Max Fury Road, Justice League, Alita Battle Angel, 300, Godzilla vs Kong, among many other amazing soundtracks
It's pretty funny how NFS Unbound is supposed to be about expression and creativity, things I generally felt while customizing my car in NFSU2, MW2005, and even the last 2 installments. I don't feel inspired to create while listening to this soundtrack, I feel inspired to play other games.

Last night was an experience playing this game while letting Spotify play random recommended songs for me. One moment i was listening to early 2000s dirty south crunk shit like lil jon/lil scrappy & TI, the next moment I'm bopping my head to some hardass metal and punk shit. And it kept going on & on. Even played some midnight Club 3 & LA songs in between all of this. This was the most enjoyment I've got from gaming in a while. Honestly bruh i rate this game a solid 9/10 if it wasn't for the soundtracks. Just play yo own playlist while you play this game. Trust me, you're not gonna regret it.
NFS 2015 has the one of the best soundtracks and the best graphics imo. The whole point of video game soundtrack, racing especially, is to sync with the action and provide an immersive experience to the player (Eurobeat effect) which Unbound totally butchered by picking mundane rap songs from all over the world. They didn't even do justice to other genres which immensely added to the disappointment. Also, some people dislike Heat's soundtrack but the night races' upbeat music was totally mind blowing.
No NFS Shift soundtrack? That's a shame, the OST in that game is so good, even some of them are even more memorable on the PSP version because 10 of the songs are used as theme songs for 10 different race kings.
2015 is important because not only is it the best modern nfs, its also proof that modern doesnt mean bad music- payback was ok, heat and unbound are just ass in that department

I've gained a lot of appreciation for the game now that Ken Block has sadly passed.
No matter how good the graphics on new NFS games they can't top the Classic NFS soundtracks when you can feel the adrenaline.

Nfs world soundtrack so perfect, it even matched the game shutdown, and still better than others
The songs in nfs unbound made me lose the motivation I usually have when doing a campaign race.
“Racing is very high octane. Should we add music with oomf and some heavy base? Maybe some sick riffs or go-fast tunes?”
“Better idea, how about flat sounding, generic EDM?!”
Nfs 2015 soundtrack was good but the drifting civic got my brain hurting
the worst song in unbound vs the best songs from other nfs....
the weird thing about world was tho.. you didnt play it.. you just listened.
