I only shoot underwater. I bought the canon rf-s10-18 last month. The quality of my photos has increased massively over the 18-45 kit lens. I shoot on an r100 as it is my first camera and I am still learning. I feel like my best photos are professional quality but I do shoot a lot in very low light and do not use strobes. After watching this video I really wonder if it is worth the $700 to go down one stop.
@@juhaaavalaakso455it’s Canon that are over hyped. IS not really needed, only with a tele/zoom lens is there a noticeable benefit. Due to the faster aperture, you can use a faster shutter speed, so reducing the chance of blur, unlike the Canon which is slow and relies on the IS.
This is my feeling also. Such a wide angle, the faster fstop is debatable as to how useful that is. But from what I have seen, the Canon at half the price is sharper/more contrasty. Cheapness? Unlike a cheap Sigma, a cheap Canon will last. I think the 18-50mm f2.8 may be worth a look. But I will keep my old cheap less well made EF-S 10-22 methinks…It still works perfectly
I love this lens. It’s a tiny beast!
Hi, could you show us more footage of vlog, handheld stabilization with canon r7?
I'm using R7 now. Review will be coming in October
I have the X mount version and loving it after just two weeks. It's replaced my Fujifilm XF 18mm F2 and no need to get the 16mm.
I think it is a better lens than the Fuji 18mm

Its not. Sigma 2.8 lens are totally overhyped and no IS.

@@wolfiemedia I have both. I know what I'm saying and I have tested those,

Push, click and then TWIST to lock the hood 💫
this hood does not twist. Only push and click attachment
@@PavSZthe 18-50mm version twists to lock, why would they change it? Mine arrives sometime this week so I guess I’ll find out😀
I'm much more annoyed that its not full frame as it would be excellent on my s5ii if it was full frame
there is a full frame version. Slightly bigger 16-28mm f2.8
