Subaru are just as good as Honda and Toyotas they are just not as popular except in snow states. Have a 2001 Forester with 216k miles and still runs great.

My 2012 2.5i Limited has 173k miles on it. I keep up all my fluids regularly and change them often. Never replaced anything major, always been dead reliable, safe, and great at mild off-roading/trails. Doesn’t burn oil and CVT functions flawlessly (again, frequent fluid changes). Spent some money updating all the exterior/interior lighting to LED’s and replacing the factory Harmon Kardon sub with a 500 watt aftermarket sub. Also did the STI rear swaybar upgrade and the difference was massive - highly recommend. Very pleased with this car! 9.5/10 absolutely recommend! Great review!
My 23 that I'm still breaking in at just under 500 miles on it's first tank is almost averaging 31 mpg (30.6) fueled it for the first time this morning and it told me my potential range is 600 miles. Loving it so far.
I got an 01 with 240 thousand runs amazing.

I still had a qtr tank left. I usually don't allow my cars to go below a qtr tank.
