Hey My Sweet Friend, I got busy and forgot to post my pic yesterday, but will today. These are a little time consuming, but what else have you got to do, there's always time for crafting. The whole trick to these is not bake them, let them air dry. I put them outside on cooling racks or cardboard. Check on them, flip them over and let the back side take a turn to air dry. I still have the very first ones I made over 20 years ago. Try it Friend, you are amazing!!
YAY, I'm so happy you found them. These are my favorite and I never get tired of making them every year. Thanks for watching, appreciate you Sweet Friend!!
Hey There, my beautiful Gal Pal, Thanks for watching!! Hard to get back in the swing of things after vacation but now, look out, LOL!! Love you Friend!!

My oldest grandson whom I raised for 12 years from a baby, I taught him, and he would make them or gingerbread villages every year. Everyone loved them
Hello Sweet Friend from the Netherlands, Welcome, appreciate you very much!! I do not put them in the oven, I let them air dry outside. If you bake them in the oven they swell up and lose their shape and get very hard.
Awesome ! Super cute! I’ll have to try the recipe. I’ve tried to make dough ornaments before but they cracked during the drying process ☹️. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Thank you for the great tutorial. Have a blessed week. 💐
Hi Kimberlee, Thanks for watching!! The key to your ornaments not cracking is letting them air dry. If you put them in the oven they swell up and lose their shape. The best thing is putting them outside to dry during the hot days of summer. Happy crafting Friend ❤️
Hi Priscilla, Thank you for watching Friend!! My cookie cutters are old, I've had them for a while. We have been looking on line to see if we can find them so I can share the link with everyone but have had no luck so far.

Those are so stinkin cute. I'm doing my kitchen in a candyland / gingerbread / peppermint/ Santa's workshop theme this year and have been looking for a creative way to make gingerbread men that will last for a few years.
Joann I forgot do we could use glitter on those adorable ornaments..I'm a glittery girl...🥰🥰 Also what can we do on the back side did you painted or keep them neutral.
Hi Denise, you can use glitter, (love that you are a glittery girl, me too!!) There is a slick paint that is called Diamond. You can brush it over your ornament and it dries clear but leaves glitter over your area where you apply it. I like them to look like cookies so I don’t paint the back.

Hello Joann, I'm going to make these with my grandchildren and if I want to put that hook into the ornament when it is still wet, do I also need to put glue on the hook or just stick them into the dough and let it dry? Thank you for sharing.................

Hi Bev, I've had those cookie cutters for over 10 years. I think the Santa was a Hallmark edition and the Angel was from Walmart!! A viewer told me she found them on EBay.
Hello Joann, I'm going to make these with my grandchildren and if I want to put that hook into the ornament when it is still wet, do I also need to put glue on the hook or just stick them into the dough and let it dry? Thank you for sharing.................
Hello Sweet Friend, Thanks so much for watching, appreciate you so much!! Yes, you can put the ornament hook on when it is wet, you do not need to use glue. How fun, making memories with your grandkids, enjoy!!

Hello Friend, Thanks for watching, appreciate you!! Dough ornaments is one craft I never get tired of making. I have enjoyed giving them out at Christmas to family and friends for over 20 years.

Hi Tona, Thanks for watching!! ❤️ Friend, made a big batch of these today. I put them outside to air dry because it is so hot today. They will be dry by this evening.
Love this just found your channel in July. What size are your cutters?
Hello Kim, Thanks for watching!! The cookie cutters range in sizes. The Santa is about 6 1/2 X 6 1/2 and the Angel is 5 X 3 1/2. Happy Crafting Friend!! ❤️
