Josh thanks for the review on this camper. We liked the Floorplan so much that we drove from Florida to Bish's in Coldwater MI to buy it. It was awesome meeting you and getting your input on this trailer. Matt was our salesman. He did a great job and we enjoyed working with him. We also want to thank everyone at Bish's in Coldwater MI for pleasurable and hassle free buying experience.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for both choosing our door step AND for sharing this today! Would you mind dropping a quick thanks to Matt and the team in a review at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review for them to see? It'd be greatly appreciated!
Definitely added this one to my "Full Timing" wish list. Love that this Cougar has the washer dryer hookups in the bathroom. I don't know how I collected so many clothes, but this bedroom wardrobe would fit my needs. Great price point too! It sure was awesome to see that your Viewer finally got to meet you. You are truly a Star 🌟
Yes this is the one. Sure it's the same kitchen everyone does but this one is on point. Alot of trailers kill there kitchen space by cramming a huge fridge. That 22volt is perfect.
Yeah, you don't need a MASSIVE fridge... It's a trailer. Some people can take advantage of it, but for your average trailer a residential style fridge is just too big.
Wow. I think this is nearly a perfect floor plan, and for a TT, I’m totally impressed. Is this a convection microwave? It should be if not. They should put or offer the insignia cook top and oven (the bigger oven). Definitely needs the larger oven. Front bedroom should offer queen bed with small nightstands(that is what I would equip it with). Also there should be some kind of headboard. Perhaps a padded one? The only show stopper for me, and I am repeating myself, is the cable slides. That is a no-go. Otherwise this is, in spite of its length, the best TT floor plan I’ve seen.
Def love a Cougar. Great floor plan & camper. Ty Josh. Great little meet up there! I like that guy! Hopefully somedsy we will be camping near each other & can hang out! :)
Very nice, I would go with a queen bed and would want a cabinet/drawers by the head of the bed. Love all the windows and storage. I love watching your videos, there are times when you are funny, but there are sometimes when I just shake my head 😂
This one is AWESOME Nerd! Keystone did a great job here. My biggest issue is their use of a cable slide vs rack and pinion. Sadly, that would be a deal breaker for me. Great review Nerd! Looking forward to the next one!
This is great! 5th wheel size all on one floor no stairs! yeah easy bathroom access! I'd rather have a queen bed or even a double with the side stands. Love the theater seats, power recliners would be cool but that's one more electrical thing to break so I could get by with the manual ones. I'd rather have a free standing table not that thing that pushing yourself up outta the chair would break the table! what do you mean we can't use the outdoor shower? we always came back from the lake, ocean, pool and used it to rinse off all the muck, sand, chlorine before entering the camper. love the privacy shade in the door! and having a washer dryer prep is great I'd always brought a portable one in my camper.
I loved the ‘cameo appearance’ at the end! 😂😂😂 You are of course the most bodacious rv social media influencer with a merry throng of RV Nerdophile followers. Oh yeah, that’s a nice rig too😉👍🏻
This is a very cool rig. Power recliners would be a must for me and my wife, we're disabled. Oh blinded by the light is the song. I just used it in my podcast.
Awesome video as per usual!! Great job Cougar for the shade in the door!!! It’s such a small thing but key to add from factory I think! And what if they did (or can they even do!?) a have booth and half chair dinette? It would give extra storage (not that this needs it though!) but also add some flexibility? Dunno just spitballing LoL
That frankentable concept is something I saw jayco offer as an option for a while and recently spotted grand design standardized I think the alliance Avenue is also doing something like that
I really like this trailer. I love the layout. It is very functional and there's great storage. I'm fine with either a manual or an electric recliner. As long as it has all the bells and whistles with the heat and massage and it reclines then I'm happy. I'm also a big fan of the white / farmhouse cabinetry in the kitchen. I'm not sure as though I would ever put a washer dryer in it unless I was going to be traveling full time but it is great that there is the ability to do so without having to upgrade to a fifth wheel. I'm not a big fan of the large step up into the shower but otherwise I like the bathroom. And if you weren't putting in a washer dryer you definitely would have a great amount of linen storage or just general storage. I love the bedroom closet space! I'm not much for folding my clothes up; I always prefer to hang them so this is great. I would definitely opt for a RESIDENTIAL queen bed with side stands. As someone who is disabled and has a hard time with steps, the fact that you get all of the functionality of a fifth wheel without having to traverse steps inside is really nice. Now if we could just get the manufacturers to figure out a way for disabled folks to get into a camper. Thanks Josh!
After all your horrible dad jokes your “Dog barking at a whistle”got me. Very cool RV I still would love a video of what it would be like going through the purchase process from outta state.
There is a reason Cougar is part of my 'wish list.' Well, several really. I could easily see myself living in this unit full-time. A lot of RV for the money. I've seen units much higher (MSRP) that don't deliver like this Cougar. Decisions, decisions...
This basically the same floor plan that we have in our Cougar 30RLS 5th wheel that we picked up in Dec. Not having a nightstand on each side of the bed is a huge mistake on Keystones part and by the way where is the headboard? Were there even any USB ports in the bederoom, I dont recall seeing any? Hallelujah they put a shade in the door...woooooohooooo!!!!👏👏👏👏 I prefer having a full hutch with deeper storage and room for the coffee maker. Also having a full length pantry with movable shelves and a light gives you more storage. We traveled from San Diego to Coldwater to ouck up our 5th wheel and I have to say the 3 week trip home (besides the 2 tornado's) was really comfortable. 😘❤❤❤🏄♀️🏖 Saying hi from San Diego.
Idea for a CPAP machine. My wife would have the king bed and if you have the machine, use those upper cabinets to put the machine to get it out of the way.
What every RV should have and be👍👍👍If you just swap out the farmhouse decor and match the slide flooring pattern with the main floor pattern this RV would be perfect, although I didn’t see if the bathroom had a Dollar Store 4 inch fart fan😬
Awww... I love this video and I love that guy. 💕 And, nice job Cougar! 👍 Love the washer/dryer hookups❣❣❣ Now, single basin sink please. I know, I sound like a broken record... 😁
Hi Josh maybe I missed something here but I noticed the washer dryer hook up is on the left in the bathroom cabinet help me understand how it will hook up w it on side shouldn’t it be on the back wall of inside that area I’ve never seen that before aren’t they all hooked up in back of washer ??? Having a WD hookup is a deal breaker for any RV I am looking to purchase ….thanks for your help …we’re new to the search for the perfect RV
Hey 👋 Josh! We are in Florida and are trying to sell our Camper. We are having a very difficult time. It is in FANTASTIC Condition (You can see a tour of it on my YT channel) but no bites. We are in a tourist destination but cannot get the visibly we need. Do you have any recommendations??? We bought it in October and used it for maybe 5 weekends in which it stayed stationary on location.
Looked at one of these Saturday. It was nice but the gray and black tank handles cannot be reached unless you crawl under the RV. Not sure if that's a deal-breaker for me. Still educating myself.
I saw carpet in the front closet and carpet in one of the external storage areas (carpetless.. pishaw)😉🙃🤣. Doesn't Winegard offer a white shroud? Kind of a small front passthru, would like to see that bigger.
Absolutely love this trailer! There's only 2 things I would like to see changed: queen size bed with night stands and, please, lower those speakers so I can listen to my music instead of my neighbor listening to it.
Absolutely love this trailer!! My one concern is a place for my cpap, which I have an idea. I would mount a shelf mounted to the underside of the overhead cabinet. It would be nice to have plugs in the bed slide. Unfortunately I have to upgrade my truck before I can get one of these.
If you are not a CPAP user you just don't understand some of the challenges we face with this limited hookup. But, give me a shelf above the window so I can both plug in the machine and have enough reach with the hose. I would also get rid of the lift the bed option and give me a drawer! We are getting older and don't want to be lifting on things we don't have to. I like the washer/dryer placement. I like a shower in the RV, which this one has, but give me a seat. Also I like the table option rather than a booth. I like that they include, what appears to be 30lb propane tanks rather than the 20s. Love the auto leveling. Make that storage door up front just a bit larger.
TY Mike. I appreciate the insight. I am not a user myself and I get so many conflicting bits of feedback from viewers at times. On the same RV it's not uncommon for me to See people say "this is awful no place for my CPAP" and "wow even a place for my CPAP!" So it's difficult for me to gather consistent info
Nice! What about either an option for a one bowl farm sink, OR a farm sink that comes with a rectangular plastic basin (half sized) for those who want 2 sinks (that's how I manage my giant farm sink at home on holidays when I do lots of cooking and hand washing)! My 2 cents .... thanks! I look forward to your videos! Still trying to convince my husband the investment is worth it!
Josh, would love to see a battle of the brands by doing a side by side of this rig and a GD Reflection 315RLTS. For me Cougar wins with white kitchen and better solar options. But Reflection has the better fridge and I like their Frankentable. But as several have already mentioned, Cougar needs to retire those darn cable slides! Keep up the great work!
@@stephenadams8541 jayco uses different slides in different zones They also don’t use the same type of cable system you see here. They’re not all the same
So how many soft spots were there in the floor, and is the floor deck an issue when buying one of these and keeping bit for around 7 yrs or so. would like your opinion and be HONEST about it
Bed needs a head board. I want the king with some CPAP option so are there plugs in the overhead storage? Inverted please. Speakers need to come down to head height.
Floor. Cougar opts for the more effective and even heating We naturally have things with cabinet ducting in our lineup as well like this one m.ruclips.net/video/7tYPveMVdok/видео.html
just almost perfect. i loved the living area and kitchen. need bigger frig and the bathroom although i liked the space the toilet sits in..the shower and sink a little cramped. MOST definitely have to have a tub and a tad more countertop space. otherwise though..I REALLY liked this one. Kitchen was great.
Ok Cougar … so now swap the location of the TV and the theater seat, add an outside kitchen behind the TV (like the 29RLKWE) and we have a deal. I’m a home brewer. I need the outdoor kitchen for the kegerator and dad’s barley-pop!
I believe it’s still in stock though I would recommend calling ahead to verify But this is definitely not Yukon towable. I wouldn’t want to put you in an unsafe pairing like that
Aside from the floor vents, there's nothing to hold against this trailer. It's a nice enough unit, but just doesn't feel like home to us. You really need to look at an Imagine 3100RD, Uncle Josh. As for a pet bed in the bedroom, HAH! You know that Carlos and any self-respecting dog would take up at least 3/4 of that king bed and fight to keep it. The other half says we're very jealous of folks who got to meet you. We'll be in for our hug when we're picking up our trailer.
That would totally depend on your usage and the amount of battery capacity you have. With good sunlight I would guess that the panels would be able to run most interior lights all day but that fridge would kill the average battery setup in short order
Linda I am not exactly understanding your question.. the rv doesn’t have a switch to choose from Solar to electric and solar panels don’t recharge.. If you’re plugged in, then the shore power will be keeping the batteries topped off regardless
I had to do some looking on this one. Man good question So they still use slam latches on full size baggage doors. This one happens to be of a small number of cougar models like the 30RKD with an oddly sized front pass thru. On those they don’t use the slam latches Now.. that being said.. I don’t know WHY they make the change on those models. I have only connected the dots to figure out which of their layouts DONT use the slam matches
ah was wondering in back of head why no price ranges like matts rv does, makes perfect sense after you explain why you do not, especially these days, can jump up or down by 20k within a month any more way things are now, same as available options or equipment can change just as fast for supply reasons as we have seen already.... but at least they usually upgrade the replacement unit, tire, generator, fridge, tv, whatever they dont have that would normally be on it, not downgrade it, but that may increase the price a little bit, that is acceptable. ... i must have a mental issue, i like watching and analyzing all these rv videos even on ones i would never have reason to buy, still love to see what is available and how things are done, such as this one.... i love it, i would not choose it as a first choice for myself to use, but it would not be my last either..... for the right price and tow fit, i would go home with it, as i would many i have seen, finding the perfect trailer or rv the first time looks like it would be near impossible after seeing so many, and they seem to be getting better all around, in quality and features the last couple years. so many very nice floor plans in any price range from lowest (my price range lol) to high end tiffin and earthroamers.... and i look at little things you never even mention, such as when slides in or out, is there a place a cat or ferret can get trapped and/or crushed or hide and not be able to get out.... such as when set up and slides out... some have a space big enough a cat or ferret could possibly get thru, it may get outside, or in the gears and such where you can not close the slide until it comes out, but you have no way to get to it either. i do not like holes of any kind a smaller animal can get in or out of, which some models do leave around in places .... rv full of holes as it is already, seen many where a snake could come up from the ground in thru bottom and follow plumbing to kitchen or bathroom... almost all of them have that fail...nothing that a few supplies from home depot wont fix in 20 minutes though on that one. the gaps and holes around the slides however could be a problem for smaller pet owners... (i have a hamster i let run loose at times as example, and have owned a few ferrets, they love holes, they will steal all my weed and pack the slide mechanism full with it if get the chance)... so that is one thing i pay close attention too is how everything seals up when deployed and in live in mode.... remember you should only seal your wife inside the inaccesable parts of the rv with slides closed, not your pets.
Yeah pricing is a mess. Matt does good work and I know his goal is never to cause problems for anyone. But I need to consider a customers experience upon visiting one of our dealerships which provides a little different lens thru which I look Advantages both ways

Definition of carpet. A floor covering made of thick, woven fabric. I see this as a destination model. Really just too long to be hauling around a lot. As usual Cougar does an excellent job with most of the unit. Cabinetry is dead on. I like the counter space beside the stove and they still give you a coffee station. I got in a couples 5th wheel this week and tried out the shower. I'm just over 6' and I couldn't even stand in the shower because the skylight was offset and not completely in the shower space. I guess they are counting on short couples. Better AC is always welcome. Would someone actually get a 38' unit with one AC? Solar is a game changer in the rv world so manufacturers need to get on board. I have no interest in a W/D in my RV. I can see where it would be useful for full time folks. I really, really, really want a bedside stand. I don't use a cpap but I do keep my cell phone, Android of course, and a small alarm clock beside me.
@@JoshtheRVNerd I should have said clock because I sure don't use an alarm anymore. I'm old and tend to wake up a lot so I keep a clock on my bedside stand. My phone is on a wireless charger on the bedside stand.
@@JoshtheRVNerd I had to rent a Uhaul 2 weeks ago and had to roll up the window. I remember when power windows were space age technology. I think my first car with power windows was a Pontiac Bonneville back in the mid 80s. I have a 76 GMC truck on the farm so.... It's painted camo of course.
At my age I actually prefer manual because I can get up faster But.. I understand the appeal to power recliners here Are you aware of anyone doing power in this segment??
In the case of changing pricing, could you give a ball park figure on the item you are show casing? It would kind of lift our spirits to know that we might be able to strrrretch our budget 10-20k to buy a beauty we fall in love with. Not for every rv, the odd one one would be fine to let those entry level viewers know where they may start. Just a thought I'd pass on.
Looks like an almost perfect RV with the exceptions that it has no bedside tables for a Cpap and it has cable slides 👎🏻 would have loved to see Rack and pinion instead. I know it would add quite a bit more weight to it though.

Queen bed with side stands is our vote, love the look and features of this model
I only had two things put the outside speakers lower and bring the floor or the front closet up for a full pass thru
Definitely they need c-pap site. And queen size mattress with side tables is better.
Love the washer dryer in bathroom.
What an outstanding floor plan! A great four season set up!

@@JoshtheRVNerd 330 I think. Although +2ft length, it's more comparable in weight and price.
Actually scratch that. The Jayco also uses cable slides too, right? I'd like to see that floorplan from manufacturers that don't use cable slides.
@@stephenadams8541 I would agree. Heck.. maybe all four lol
@@stephenadams8541 jayco uses different slides in different zones
They also don’t use the same type of cable system you see here. They’re not all the same
Queen with Side boards for cpap would be great!!!!
Fair. TY
So how many soft spots were there in the floor, and is the floor deck an issue when buying one of these and keeping bit for around 7 yrs or so. would like your opinion and be HONEST about it
Zero. New rv. Didn’t have soft spots. I’d buy a cougar in a heartbeat
Wish it was prepped for a individual washer dryer instead of a combo unit . Combos aren’t near as efficient as the separated units .
That’s totally true. I hear the dryer-part or the unit sometimes struggles but the washer-side usually works well
LMAO @ "Bruh" when talking about showering at walmart. Nice add, josh,

Bed needs a head board. I want the king with some CPAP option so are there plugs in the overhead storage? Inverted please. Speakers need to come down to head height.
No plugs in the overhead storage - they're beside the bed but not easily seen on camera
Really liked the camper. Am thinking about purchasing a new RV, but the cable slides were a deal breaker.
Thx Dan
Come to Montana. I gotta hug ya!
It’s possible I may in the future!!
Question does this model have wall furnace outlets or floor outlets
Floor. Cougar opts for the more effective and even heating
We naturally have things with cabinet ducting in our lineup as well like this one m.ruclips.net/video/7tYPveMVdok/видео.html

just almost perfect. i loved the living area and kitchen. need bigger frig and the bathroom although i liked the space the toilet sits in..the shower and sink a little cramped. MOST definitely have to have a tub and a tad more countertop space. otherwise though..I REALLY liked this one. Kitchen was great.
Ty Zena!!
Ok Cougar … so now swap the location of the TV and the theater seat, add an outside kitchen behind the TV (like the 29RLKWE) and we have a deal. I’m a home brewer. I need the outdoor kitchen for the kegerator and dad’s barley-pop!
You’d fit in well here in Michigan!!
So why doesn't the washer/dryer closet go down to the floor? Whats in the boxed area below?
I believe there are some things like the water heater there
queen bed with side stands would be better for us.
I like the manual recliners~but think they need to use the same flooring throughout, not that marine grade stuff... It would just look better/larger
That actually is my preference. A few brands like Jayco and Alliance are good for that. I like the look and estimate it'd easier still to clean
Is this one still at the store to take a look at? Can I tow it with a 2021 Diesel GMC Yukon?
I believe it’s still in stock though I would recommend calling ahead to verify
But this is definitely not Yukon towable. I wouldn’t want to put you in an unsafe pairing like that
I’m going to try to get out there on Sunday!
I have a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee , 2Wd, 3.6 v6, what can I tow?

I would prefer the recliners be manual. My son experienced a power outage and had to struggle to get up from an electric recliner.
That’s interesting.. especially when the chairs are 110 powered
I’ve been in a 3100rd but that was when I was out in Iowa and the winds basically shut me down

I love this but I would like a shorter and lighter version of this! Got anything like that???
What features are you willing to bend on to shrink the rv? I can likely come up with something
Josh if I were to run on solar during the day and switch to electric at night, do the solar panels need recharging before using solar again.
That would totally depend on your usage and the amount of battery capacity you have. With good sunlight I would guess that the panels would be able to run most interior lights all day but that fridge would kill the average battery setup in short order
@@jdollar5852 okay thank you. I thought about the refrigerator after I sent the message
Linda I am not exactly understanding your question.. the rv doesn’t have a switch to choose from Solar to electric and solar panels don’t recharge..
If you’re plugged in, then the shore power will be keeping the batteries topped off regardless
If this helps - solar panels will work any time there’s a level of sunshine coming in.
@@JoshtheRVNerd yes I feel you did understand my question. I did think about operation of fridge after I sent question.
I know Cougar is considered a higher end brand so I'm just curious as to why the stopped using slam latches on the baggage doors?
I had to do some looking on this one. Man good question
So they still use slam latches on full size baggage doors. This one happens to be of a small number of cougar models like the 30RKD with an oddly sized front pass thru. On those they don’t use the slam latches
Now.. that being said.. I don’t know WHY they make the change on those models. I have only connected the dots to figure out which of their layouts DONT use the slam matches
Very nice looking TT, but with two flaws in my opinion; floor vents and cable slides, those are a deal breaker for me.
Common threads of feedback.. I think you’ll like this one instead m.ruclips.net/video/7tYPveMVdok/видео.html
Queen with stands
ah was wondering in back of head why no price ranges like matts rv does, makes perfect sense after you explain why you do not, especially these days, can jump up or down by 20k within a month any more way things are now, same as available options or equipment can change just as fast for supply reasons as we have seen already.... but at least they usually upgrade the replacement unit, tire, generator, fridge, tv, whatever they dont have that would normally be on it, not downgrade it, but that may increase the price a little bit, that is acceptable. ... i must have a mental issue, i like watching and analyzing all these rv videos even on ones i would never have reason to buy, still love to see what is available and how things are done, such as this one.... i love it, i would not choose it as a first choice for myself to use, but it would not be my last either..... for the right price and tow fit, i would go home with it, as i would many i have seen, finding the perfect trailer or rv the first time looks like it would be near impossible after seeing so many, and they seem to be getting better all around, in quality and features the last couple years. so many very nice floor plans in any price range from lowest (my price range lol) to high end tiffin and earthroamers.... and i look at little things you never even mention, such as when slides in or out, is there a place a cat or ferret can get trapped and/or crushed or hide and not be able to get out.... such as when set up and slides out... some have a space big enough a cat or ferret could possibly get thru, it may get outside, or in the gears and such where you can not close the slide until it comes out, but you have no way to get to it either. i do not like holes of any kind a smaller animal can get in or out of, which some models do leave around in places .... rv full of holes as it is already, seen many where a snake could come up from the ground in thru bottom and follow plumbing to kitchen or bathroom... almost all of them have that fail...nothing that a few supplies from home depot wont fix in 20 minutes though on that one. the gaps and holes around the slides however could be a problem for smaller pet owners...
But I need to consider a customers experience upon visiting one of our dealerships which provides a little different lens thru which I look

I have a video coming out on this. You may understand it’s a ballpark price but too many people don’t and it causes issues
Truly appreciate the constructive input btw

Why do you call them park models? You dont like selling them? How come you didnt show the port side? Are all the slides cable driven?
