I am moving towards the end of my life and I disagree with you. You do only live once, but it is not all about making money. Jeffrey seems to be having the time of his life now and I don’t think he would want the stress of owning a demanding business of an antique mall. I think that he has it knocked with with he is doing now. And Donna, I hope you understand that as I approach my final journey my priorities might be different from yours. I hope you can enjoy what you have now.. . I am.

Little “Booties” are glass match holders and there is a striker area on the front.

Some spent over $300 and someone spent $21. 😂 That was a pretty easy puzzle. 😂
You’d need to know what revenue the booths bring in - you need to see their books
You could always get a manager and be on the other end of the phone for support
I’d also want to know why they were selling and try and work out why it’s been on the market for so long
Edit/ I’d also look at other malls in the area and try and find out what ratio revenue from booths is relative to the valuation of the business Perhaps you could talk to the owner of where you had your stall? Also exactly what is your responsibility v stall holders responsibility for things like safety and security and insurance
Also footfall ? What days, when, perhaps the mall needs to have different opening times to maximise profitability
What marketing have they done, if any, to support a potentially failing business
Perhaps you could ask the stall holders to chip in say 5% of rent to be devoted to marketing for a period of say 4 months in the run up to Xmas
How well is the power used for lighting and heat? What sort and how much parking ?
Lots of little things to consider that affect profitability

Great shopping trip! I’m glad you got the tin, it’s beautiful and in perfect condition.
The German banded porcelain tray is from the late 20's-30's and usually have very art deco designs. They came with 6-8 coasters of smaller banded porcelain rounds with a matching design of the tray. Just sayin'......

The glass bear bank once held syrup to add to carbonated water to make soft drinks at home. Made in Salem, Mass (home of the witches). I love that Fenton aqua crest! Gorgeous! 🌞💗😁🌟

It has several panels. One has a chip piece on top. I always wanted to get a new panel for it.

yes, I can see that too. I was trying to be overly cautious with my age estimate. the quality of it looked really good and the pottery was pretty clean.
Tell Barb to check her local pawn shops for turquoise jewelry. I've found some nice pieces in their scrap piles before. Some places would rather melt down the silver then have them sit in a case.
I heard you mention last night on the Vintage Rescue Squad that you were interested in buying an antique mall. Funny because I've been thinking the same thing too lately. There's one near me for sale (though I wish it were closer to home too) but I'd be scared to pull the trigger. It would be hard work I know but I think it would be fun and rewarding.

The Pottery Turtle and Bowl with Flower Frog isn’t Roselane it is Cliftwood Art Pottery c1920s part of the Morton, IL area Potteries. 😀
I'm glad you bought the $10 tray. You kept wondering if it was old or not and I was yelling at the screen for you to get it. It is Art Nouveau in style and from the 1920s I believe.
