Yo Kratos has great quotes in the games. You should do more of his stuff please
@@lleobreakerl7908 I agree, we should bring more.
Words Beyond Fiction. If it’s okay with you, I’d like to make a suggestion for a video sometime in the future. Could you please do the conversation between the Spirit of the West and Rango from the movie Rango please?
Just thank you for taking the time to make these
@@WordsBeyondFiction
I’d love that! There’s a lot of great quotes that can come from Kratos!
“And you must be better than me” the guilt he feels for his pasts and he tried to redeem himself hurts.
no its what every father whant from his son
@@birddead3918 no doubt, you're right, but there's also this feeling of dread and regret for his past mistakes, and that perhaps by making Atreus a better individual than he was is a way to make amends.
@@ToTiger14 I will pray for you and your sons success in life
@@ToTiger14 1. that 14 to 28 was so heart-melting to read, and 2. GOW was amazing to me from an inverse perspective, I was a son to a father with a troubled past, but I can see how he's trying to do better, despite how difficult it is for him.
“With great power, comes great responsibility.”
-Ben Parker
classic
“With great power, comes a lot of possibilities.”
Originally stated by Socrates
A son's destiny... to overcome his father, to be better, not just physically but mentally AND emotionally. To take all the knowledge and experience, he taught and gave us, and apply it to the next generation.
My father gave me the freedom he never had as a child, now I wish to pass on this freedom to my child in the future.
same my parents had it rough
I feel bad now that I am thinking, I never focused on that much. Even when making the video I was mostly paying attention to the warrior, heart and mind theme.
But comments are really on the legacy of kratos redemption throught his son... I am honestly surprised with the comments...
I never had a father and perhaps it is better for me that I never did, but I hope to be the best I can. If I become a father in the future I'll be looking to Kratos for inspiration. I for damn sure will be better than my father lol.
Yeah thats all great but when your baseline for a dad is just awful it leaves you pretty messed up for life.
Powerful words from Kratos. He found redemption through Atreus, by showing him a better path than the one he took, and the story of how they both change and improve is beautiful.
Lol I Appreciate the energy bruv
Truly one of Kratos’s best moments throughout the entire gif of war franchise.
My brother in christ you butchered the word god
Ah yes, the popular _Gif_ of War franchise.
Kratos is one of the best written characters in video games. He made two knives for his son forged from metals of his homeland. A representation of the past he tries so hard to not relive but keeps showing back up in the people he faces in the present. Such a great story.
Truly words of wisdom for any boy on what it means to be a man about to go on his journey in life navigating its conflicts.
I love the way you frame these videos, got chills when he said “be better than me”
The line has a little touch of vulnerability and how he whispers, *_Undertand_*? really bring it to the heart. Thanks btw )
True strength comes from the heart & spirit. A true warrior never slashes like other power hungry fools. He is reserved. He has control over weapon. Calm like the ripples on the water and becomes like a storm to those who are power hungry and ruthless. He does not let the power hold him. He holds the power. That is his strength.
Thank you for blessing us with your content
Thanks for the nice words tommy that is not shelby
HELL YEAH! Love to be early to these.
Edit: Okay so, Kratos has always been interesting in what he does and what he wants for Atreus. Some people argue that the “Slayer of the Olympians” shouldn’t suddenly be some caring father, well I say otherwise.
Kratos himself DENIES THE FATES. He refuses the cycle of murder, neglect, he himself is better than the Olympians that came before, but he is tainted by what they were and for that, there is only ONE way for a proper god to made, it cannot be himself. He’s good but he needs to be better, and he can’t, purely because of taint. Atreus, is that better version of himself, or at the very least he wants him to be.
Kratos is such a badass he decided to flip a middle finger to fate and be a good father.
The only thing I disagree with is Kratos is tainted due to his actions under the influence of impenetrable rage and feelings of vengeance, rather than being tainted by the greed and selfishness and vindictiveness of the Olympian gods.
His rage made him do monstrous things that he can never take back or redeem.
Maybe the only way he could do that is to teach his son to be better. To not let rage consume you and turn you into a monster.
Some say the Olympian gods made Kratos a monster. I say it was his rage. It had consumed him and warped him.
And I think Kratos just wants to make sure his son it's never consumed and warped by his own anger.
"Be better than me." Means do not let rage devour you like it did to Kratos.
loool the last line! I loved it!
Do Not Mistake My Silence For Lack Of Grief.
Kratos
"[...] Mourn how you wish. Leave me to my own"
"Be better than me."
To me, Kratos is saying be more than he was, better than he was, better than an embodiment of rage and anger that only destroys everything around him.
To me, Kratos wants his son to be above the dangerous snarls of furious anger fueled by the savagery of vengeance.
To me, Kratos wants his son to be above the things that made him(Kratos) a monster.
Kratos wants his son to be more than the things that him (Kratos) *less*
They really took God of War series into a nice turn with the norse ride haven't they? I read the first line and I was thinking about the old games. I mean God of war 3 was so brutal and vengeful which usually ( at least to me xD ) ends up turning on yourself very bad.
But in the latest runs kratos seeks some redemption through his son and at the same time he searches his own soul.
I understand this far to well. To be given more than my father had. I try to teach others of my generation, others who abuse or neglect their responsibilities knowing how much hardship those that raised them had to endure inorder to give them this liberty and freedom. WE ALL MUST BE BETTER.
Very well said. Although I never embodied this much within my actions I still believe it.
Amen
''Boy''
-Kratos
I should've made that the tittle xD
The "boy" got me
Discipline and self control
I think it’s amazing that Kratos breaks the stereotype of “Gods being selfish and egotistical”. Yes he’s done bad things, but he wants to truly redeem himself. The fact that he actively shapes and tells his son to not be like one of those stereotypical God’s is amazing. He’s a well written character through and through
I wish my dad was more like Kratos. I had to learn this on my own.
Same here
I don’t want a dad to be like kratos I just wanna be more for my kid then my dad was for me be better
One of the best words I have ever heard.

U must do a new one from God Of War Ragnarök.
"Fate only binds you if you let it. Do what is necessary. Not because it is written."
He looks like hes standing in my doorway while I'm suffering sleep paralysis as he says this
We all must be better than our ancestors 😊
Yoooo, everyone listen to this with Headphones, its so much better
Long Quote:
“At that moment, when I had the TV sound off, I was in a 382 mood; I had just dialed it. So although I heard the emptiness intellectually, I didn't feel it. My first reaction consisted of being grateful that we could afford a Penfield mood organ. But then I realized how unhealthy it was, sensing the absence of life, not just in this building but everywhere, and not reacting-do you see? I guess you don't. But that used to be considered a sign of mental illness; they called it 'absence of appropriate affect.' So I left the TV sound off and I sat down at my mood organ and I experimented. And I finally found a setting for despair. So I put it on my schedule for twice a month; I think that's a reasonable amount of time to feel hopeless about everything, about staying here on Earth after everybody who's smart has emigrated, don't you think?”
~Philip K Di**(I know it's just his last name, but youtube be auto-deleting comments for no reason, so censored it)
He wrote this in a philosophical work, "Do Android Dream of Electric Sheep?"
A great novel.

Amazing my friend and thank you
Funny his first quote BOY: by kratos
......boi......
Epic
Done father I love u,like Rasullah.
i missed the last two but great video
I like to think that Kratos regrets how much destruction he brought upon the world during his war with the Gods not in a way that he wishes he forgave them but more like he wished he didn't drag the entirety of Greece down with him because I'm pretty sure he still would've killed Zeus
wise words
At least sounds like a kingdom hearts speech but the key blade
I remember
I will honor your request
