The sugar is THAT ingredient we forget! We taste and know something is missing and It's always the sugar!!!! This looks soooo delicious...well done!! I've never had baked spaghetti....definitely will try this!!
If someone creates a video saying they eat fruit during the day, everyone freaks out because fruit is so high in sugar, yet when someone makes spaghetti and adds sugar or makes cookies, cakes, or pies with 10x more sugar than fruit everyone is happy. It makes no sense. Sugar is not needed in spaghetti.

You can twicket it to your dietary needs. I do it all the time. Sharataki, oat fiber, palmari or spaghetti squash can easily used as a substitute. Charlie cooks his food based off his experience and not based on the viewers personal health needs.
Made this using ground turkey and ground turkey sausage instead of the meats shown. SO GOOD! FYI- I cut the leftovers (cold) into squares and wrapped them up to reheat for lunches...worked so well! Thanks for sharing!

I've made this 2 ways now, one your way and one adding ricotta cheese as an additional cheese. Both are great! One thing i want to say is its important to grate your own cheese. That pregrated cheese doesn't get as creamy as grating your own cheese does. Its a small difference but a noticeable difference. Keep doing what you do Charlie you are such an inspiration to us home cooks!
Tip: Always grate/shread your own cheese. The bagged shreds are coated with something to protect it and give it a longer shelf life I think. Besides block cheese 🧀 just melts better.

So glad I found your channel! It reminds me of home, living in LA for 43 years learning to cook in my Momma's kitchen. I'm now in WA and the food is HORRIBLE! We don't EVEN try to eat out anymore. You would die from laughing at what they call Cajun/Creole and even BBQ here. I will say, If you want to make millions, do a Cajun/creole food truck here. NO DOUBT! I miss that southern accent too, but they LOVE a Southern accent up here!

I've made this 2 ways now, one your way and one adding ricotta cheese as an additional cheese. Both are great! One thing i want to say is its important to grate your own cheese. That pregrated cheese doesn't get as creamy as grating your own cheese does. Its a small difference but a noticeable difference. Keep doing what you do Charlie you are such an inspiration to us home cooks!

Tip: Always grate/shread your own cheese. The bagged shreds are coated with something to protect it and give it a longer shelf life I think. Besides block cheese 🧀 just melts better.

Saw that he took a separate spoon to taste the meat and did not just taste from the wooden spoon - That's exactly how it should be done! I can't stand to see people taste the food directly out of the pot and then put the spoon right back in the pot. Thank you brother!!

So glad I found your channel! It reminds me of home, living in LA for 43 years learning to cook in my Momma's kitchen. I'm now in WA and the food is HORRIBLE! We don't EVEN try to eat out anymore. You would die from laughing at what they call Cajun/Creole and even BBQ here. I will say, If you want to make millions, do a Cajun/creole food truck here. NO DOUBT! I miss that southern accent too, but they LOVE a Southern accent up here!
