So heartbreaking to see Susan break down like this. This band is such a family, and the fact they held it together and still destroyed their set last night is a testament to that bond. RIP Kofi, know that this band and everyone who's heard your joyful sound will miss you.
This is one of the most equally beautiful and heartbreaking things I’ve ever watched. I don’t know how that room was able to hold such intensity and emotion in the air. I can’t imagine.
Derek, Susan, and the whole family sharing this with all of us. Sharing hope knowing that they’ve just suffered loss. They know and can testify, this loss is but only for a moment. Rest In Peace Kofi. Your soul is forever a part of us all. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing it with us all with nothing held back.
Yeah...taken to church. Another goosebump producing performance with the trombone guitar interplay. Wow...Carry on Kofi you'll be missed but not ever forgotten
Had front row center to see TTB, right in front of Susan, two years ago, and it was an experience my wife and I will never forget. It was truly one of the most perfect nights of my life. I will never forget it. I will never forget Kofi and the way he played, because it lives on in the music. Amazing video here.
thanks for the video..i got the chills...love this band like they are family and i was hysterical over kofi..i couldnt imagine what they are going through and are still able to put on an unbelievable show for us
I thought until after Saturday night's show was over that they hadn't learned of Kofi's passing until after they finished on Friday. Learned they had from talking to Derek's dad Chris. Even more amazing their composure and professionalism. For me, the wake began with this song and carried thru Saturday night's entire show. Idle Wind with no flute? Like a missing man formation. We love you, brother Kofi. Thank you for helping us defy gravity with your music and love. Vaya con dios. ❤️
Beautiful. It gets emotional starting with the "Kofi part." Here's a Bible study idea -- look up all the times the phrase "one another" is used. #allelon
I'm staggered at this news. Kofi was a truly class act in a band of class acts. Such a close bunch of people, their loss must hurt like hell. We'll all miss him.
I miss Kofi. I can never hear this song again without thinking of him. It's tough to sing and cry at the same time. And especially if you want to smile.
@Naki Ryan I also think it's because Derek doesn't use floor monitors or in-ears. He bases his playing off the room and the PA. It makes total sense to me.

Charles Hale, i was lucky to be there. Thanks for capturing this. ❤️
Holy fuck, what a band. I can't believe that they could rally like this. There is hope and healing in music. Rest in peace Kofi.

Nice performance, but this song isn’t by Joe Cocker. Almost everything he recorded was written by someone else.
How sad - commiserations to all.
Thanks for posting!

RIP Kofi
Sad to here about Kofi. RIP. See the Band many times. They are amazing.
Where is Tim ????? Who is playing bass.
@@ireneruthfox Tim left the band amicably to pursue other projects. The new guy is Brandon Boone
Mr. Gorbachev, Tear Down This Wall! Anyone else notice the wall between the amps :-)
It's there to prevent sound bleed from the different amps so they don't get picked up by the mic's on the other amp.

What dose she see in Derek ?
