True, but we as people have changed. I played it last when I was like 6 or 7 and now I'm 15. A lot has happened good and bad but I remeber that. I was happier and me any brother took turns. He figured out how to make glad and I wanted that too. Moments like that won't happen again an all we can do is remeber how it was.
@@rabalder6705 Well put! Even if the older players are feeling nostalgic, the game itself is more popular now than it was then. Minecraft is the most popular game in the history of mankind. There are a lot of players, the hours played per person is high, Minecraft streams and VoDs are viewed by myriads, speed running community is very much alive, tournaments with different rule sets are popular. I don't play nor do I watch it being played. Nevertheless I get it recommended by RUclips over and over again despite me manually removing the suggestions and leaving feedback as to why I am not interested. It feels like the algorithm says "Oh, so you like video games? Minecraft is the best video game. You WILL enjoy watching it!". The game is too popular for me to not know that it is the most popular right now.
I can remember playing Minecraft on my mothers phone when pocket edition was fairly new, and it’s a completely different experience playing it when your a kid, not knowing what your doing, when the game still had scuffed graphics. My siblings practically bonded over video games, and off all the fond memories I have with them, Minecraft takes up 95% of those memories and I have no regrets. I’ve watched the game grow up and be changed in different ways, seeing all the things people do with it. In 2016-18, everyone was bashing me for still liking the game but I still played it, because I couldn’t give a honk about victory royales. But then the game rose up again like a phoenix in 2019, and reclaimed its throne. I mean, it deserves it. Minecraft is an experience.
@@unoriginalhazard I had to check statistics for both games. Minecraft had a lot of easy to find numbers, while GTA V had a lot of specific easy to find numbers. There was not a lot of overlap. Numbers I found that can be compared are number of total players ever. GTA V has 22 million total players with 6 million active players. Minecraft has around 200 million of the normal game. There's a pocket edition and a chinese edition too. From what I've found, Minecraft has at least 10 times as many players in total. Active players are 6 million for GTA V and around 130 million for Minecraft. In 2020 Minecraft was the most viewed game on RUclips, GTA V was sharing the 4th-5th place with Fortnite. Minecraft viewership is growing. I am interested to know which categories GTA V wins over Minecraft in order for you to classify it as more popular. Nothing I found supports that stance.
God damn. There was this farm craft server I played on. You have a plot and you grow stuff on said plot and sell it Yada Yada. My grand idea was I made my entire plot vertical, spiral up around a 4x4 spruce tree. I would expand every level so I had multiple massive levels. It became a renowned icon of the server. I vividly remember when I started building it, in the rain, with this song playing. 7 years ago. I remember it vividly 7 years ago. Man, screw people who say video games are dumb wastes of time
@@ayakazumi1923 haha thank you, it was pretty cool not gonna lie. It was beautiful too. You can make it go sky high by getting rid of the leaves, placing 4 dirt and planting, bone meal, then get rid of the dirt and place spruce. Do 4 slabs wide on each stair, and then each corner do a 4x4 slab. I tend to do one plot every 2 levels so it doesn't feel cramped.
@@KartsAgainstHumanity sadly not, I tried. The owner of the server was the richest for years until I came along. He noticed I was catching up quickly. It not gone. It’s just changed, just like you, and me, like us. But we’re still here, just like this game that means so much to all of us.
@@JaharNarishma it’s actually gta v that’s the most popular game of all time but I appreciate your value for the autism simulator.
I haven’t played Minecraft in a while, but this music… the nostalgia, memories, everything. It hits hard.
That scratches my brain so well
Man, screw people who say video games are dumb wastes of time
_YEAHHHH!!! SCREW THEMMMM-_
Dude if that servers still up then you gotta go see if its still there. Slim chance but worth a shot?
That is SUCH a cool idea, holy damn!! Definitely gonna try this the next time I play on a plot server! XD
He legit removed the farm craf server when I passed him. I wasn't blocked, I checked with friends there, they all said the server was gone. Screw you bilmurr77. You suck.
Probably most of us here had those times as a kid exploring minecraft worlds with friends or siblings and loved building sky bases and having an exciting feeling when you just got back from school and there is no homework. Remember the good days when we were excited to grow up? Time flies. *Now go finish building that mob grinder child*
still do it to this day
Ayy I'm not the only one here who still plays
