Excellent content, saw the 3 vids of your M2 Comp and they're very informative. I subscribed! Hope you continue to make more of these vids, sharing your ownership experience with this fantastic car. I'm aspiring to own an M2 Comp of my own one day. Hopefully sooner than later! 🤞🏻
Thanks for the mod review. Glad to hear that the adaptive LEDs are quality headlights. My wife's 328xi a couple of generations ago had absolutely terrible headlights. Very little output. I purchased upgraded Osram bulbs, but it was quite the process to switch them out--had to remove the front wheels, remove part of the inner fender liner, and wedge my hand into a tight space to get access. Much more involved than I had anticipated. Also happy to hear about the Focal drivers as plug-n-play upgrades. IMO, Bose has really pulled the wool over everyone's eyes. They've managed to be successful in the home market through pleasing design and an exaggerated upper bass that makes the masses happy, but the overall sound of their products is ultimately lacking. Now they've infiltrated the car audio market over the last 15 years or so, and the results are not good.
Didn't realize how loaded mine was since it came with the carbon fiber defuser and rear mirrors. Would recommend Bootmode it for more power if you want it. Also did bimmercodes to remove fake sound from speakers also a lot of cool things you can change in there as well including moving rear mirrors down when in reverse as well as folding when locked etc... For sound, I did AA mid pipes and absolutely love it. For looks, I painted stock muffler wrinkle high time black. I like the polished carbon interior. Love my M2C, good video.
Thanks for the write up. I definitely will buy the front component speakers with the 2 subs like you did. I’ll contact the company in Germany that you mention in the video. Thanks!
Great info - didn't realize how to enable auto-high beams because I was lazy and didn't RTFM. Might consider the stereo upgrades purely due to tighter bass.
Great overview, I'm considering the Cf mirror covers, CF lip spoiler and CF diffuser, could you possibly give us a 360 degree view of the exterior in a future video? Id like to see how it all comes together, are the 437 wheels your winter setup?
I mods are great on the M2 comp in the video, however there is one mod he forgot to do - that is to change the factory exhaust for a Remus/Akrapovic exhaust as I understand the stock exhaust on the M2 comp does not sound great. Please let me know your thoughts on the exhaust mod. Thanks.
I think we have identical cars and I'm also in NY. I hadn't considered the CF mirror covers but they look great on your car. Which online site have you been using for your MP parts? I'm considering the spoiler, diffuser, and now possibly the mirror covers. May even get the 763M wheels with cup tires for the track.
Don't really have links for you, but I purchased mine from extremeaudio.de in Germany. They gave great service, even when one of the speakers was damaged in transit. They were much cheaper than Crutchfield, for example.
The bmw harman kardon sound was one of the best systems ive heard in a car for the price range. Did you really feel the necessity to modify it after doing it so? Also love ur videos, Im buying a comp next year.
Absolutely. The difference is huge. Much better highs and much more punch to the bass. I've actually found the Fender system in my golf R to be much better than the stock HK system.
Ryem3 I have to agree, I find the HK in my 2019 strangely unsatisfying. I cant place what’s wrong with the sound, maybe the drivers or maybe highly processed to attempt to get better acoustics. I can honestly say the Sony system in a 2008 Focus is better.
Ah, yes you are looking at the V2 wheel. The trick is to look in the M4 parts directory. The V1 is not officially available for the M2, even though the wheels are the same. Also, the core wheel is all you need for a manual or dct car, all of the parts transfer from your original wheel. Take a pic of the wiring though; the arrangement is a bit complicated inside the wheel. With a pic, it's no problem to reassemble.
Nice 👍🏻! I think 🤔 this is it based on what you shared. As an aside, we lose the heated function, not sure what my upper management (wife) is going to think about that. She loves to drive and has several M cars herself. I am going to have to make the pitch ..... Again thanks for sharing the knowledge. Assumed part discussed: F8x M3 & M4 M Performance Steering Wheel - BMW (32-30-2-344-147)
I picked up my 2020 M2C 6mt same awesome color on Wednesday at BMW of Mamaroneck on Friday I stopped y Chris Breezy customs to get a price on ceramic coating and I saw what I thought was your car there Man he is pricey how would you rate him ?
I have the same car, colour, DCT etc.....and absolutely love the car as it is with one exception! I do like the mods in your clip however, IMO the one mod that's really needed on the car is that rear muffler to be deleted. It hangs down so much that it's been described on another channel as a 'cow's udder!' Aftermarket exhaust companies such as Remus have been relatively quick to pick up on this sentiment by offering a stainless system for around $5-6K Australian. Akrapovic is another company that offer a titanium system but, worth significantly more! What are your thoughts??
I am very hesitant. I meant to add this to the video! There is always more to talk about! How about this - I've heard some, I think it just makes the poor sound even louder! Not interested in a raspy, back firing car that sounds like a Civic! I want to hear an exhaust that actually changes the tone. Maybe we'll see the OEM MPE one day.
@@Ryem3 Well it's been 12 months since our last exchange and I have to tell you what I have learnt in that time. I went with four changes/modifications that are IMHO been worth every cent! Firstly, I put on an Eisenmann axle-back exhaust that has improved not only the aesthetics, but also the sound. Secondly, I had a stage 1 tune done for an output of 500 hp / 680 nm. Thirdly, a silicon set of charge pipes as an insurance policy and finally, a set of wider all round Pilot Sport 4S tyres (285 mm rear/ 255 mm front). In summary, it's made what was already an awesome car - even better!
@@m2comp369 great! How's the traction? Might make sense to try cup tires on this car, it has challenges with traction even with 400 hp. I got a Dinan cat back. Waiting to have it installed. I think it's the only exhaust with a deep tone. That should wrap it up!
Ryem3 The traction is pretty good considering and the reason why I fitted the wider tyres. The 4S tyres do a good job but I leave traction control on if I’m pushing it. I don’t drive it in the wet as it’s not my daily - guessing it would be more of a handful . Perhaps like you suggest a semi slick tyre for the street may be the way to go but I’m very pleased with its performance atm.
Hi from Ireland enjoy your videos I agree about the steering wheel I prefer the full Alcantara I've been on to my car garage and they can't seem to get me that steering wheel that You have is that a genuine OEM part I know they do it for the M3 f80 I'm wondering would that fit the M2
No problem! Everything else was great. Can you do a full review of your car once you put the mods in? I really want to see the full interior with wet carbon all around and carbon steering wheel.
Your information would be much easier to follow if the camera wasn't bouncing around and less distracting if you aren't driving. Driving on some curvy roads with excitement is different. A boring drive around the woods just detracts from otherwise great information.
Ceramic coating is a massive waste of money. For anybody considering it; please do your wallet & car a favor by instead applying your own hybrid ceramic wax. It’s not only easy, but just as effective in blocking harmful UV rays + contaminants that are harmful to modern paints/coats. I can’t relate to even taking a vehicle in for a $70+ oil change. Do all my own oil & filter changes w/ full synthetic for $50 if buying bulk. Have a 2018 Jeep JL & 2020 BMW M2C; they’re not so different on maintenance , despite a bulky SUV vs. compact sports car. 👍🏻
Pretty different, maintenance on the BMW is free! I'm taking ceramic coating when they throw it in for free! And it does a great job. I will admit there are plenty of new ceramic coatings that are DIY and cost about $80. Much longer lasting and more effective than a wax.

Check Chris Heck, Sterling bmw in Newport beach ca
Thanks for the detailing information. Could you share your source for the mirror caps and rear spoiler and why you selected that provider?
Nothing too exciting! All OEM, except for the interior trim. Got the stuff from Sterling BMW in California
The auto high beam on my 440 rarely turns on. I mean it only turns on if you drive on a pitch black road with no traffic at all. It's pretty useless
On the m2 they come on and off pretty easily. It can be distracting, but it is a plus, the LEDs are super bright!
Would you mind posting links for the speakers in the description.
Don't really have links for you, but I purchased mine from extremeaudio.de in Germany. They gave great service, even when one of the speakers was damaged in transit. They were much cheaper than Crutchfield, for example.

Dinmann carbon. Great service and the stuff is nice at a reasonable price. Tell him I sent you!
