It just sucks, because it sells, so of course Activision is going to keep doing it. The last CoD I bought was BO2, until MW 2019 launched and I thought it was amazing. However, the fun military arcade shooter turned into whatever the fuck the series became with all of the ridiculous skins that turned every match into Fortnite nightmare. But again, bitching about it and not buying them myself means nothing if they're going to make money hand over fist for selling the stuff, so I just decided not to buy the sequels.

what has COD become...? in terms of Campaign, imo i felt like COD BO2 (or even Infinite Warfare in some cases) had the last best campaign, and in terms of Zombies and Multiplayers… ehhhhh, this may be a hot take here, but i felt like BO3 has the last good or perhaps the best Multiplayer and Zombies.

An arcade shooter, true, but CoD at least tried to say grounded in its setting, these just don’t fit CoD’s artistic direction, look back to the older games, BO2 might’ve had some skins and optics, but they weren’t this bad. Also the only reason these exist is because Activision wants to take money from you, money you’ve already spent on the game, otherwise these wouldn’t be there.
