This is a great instructional for the ronin 4d. By far the best I have seen so far. Cool side note if you didn't know:
1. When you long hold EXP button you can preview playback
2. When you long hold PEAK button you can access menu
This is much easier if you don't have a free hand for pressing home and playback button on 5" monitor.
Also long hold inside (AF) button on left handgrip to switch Auto focus from smart to whatever you have set in menu (wide or spot)
Great video - thank you. This has to be one the best simple to follow and everything made clear. 10/10
Nice. I’ve been waiting for this
You are amazing friend, thank you so much for this tutorial! Exactly what I needed :) cheers
Nice work . Simple 10/10
Can you do a film makers settings tutorial please
Thanks for the review/tutorial. I'm a stills photographer adding more and more video into my work. This is my first non-DSLR video camera. I saw that the RecLUT in your settings was Rec.709. Do you find yourself using that over D-Log most of the time?
perfect review in RUclips
*Would really like to see someone review the Ronan 4D with the new Zenmuse X9 *K Resolution sensor head.*
Can you dual record for backups?
Is it possible to set crop mode to the c1 and c2 buttons?
Question. When I retract the Z axis back to the camera body it automatically turns off. Is that normal?
Literally just got off a set that was rocking some Komodo's, had my heart set on a small set up for me for their form factor, but the Ronin 4D would be more of a solution for a solo operator or for some smaller projects where maybe I'm just operating... no dolly, crane, gear head, or 25/75 for that matter, but still get that smooth fluid movement in one system... PLUS full frame? I'm seriously considering this as my package... and it could still be a solution to some problems for the productions I work on!
I got one exactly for the same reasons, you save a lot of time on set, and it's very easy to use. On a shoot we did a couple of months ago, the operator got tired and we just handed the camera to a PA and controlled everything remotely through the wireless monitor gyroscopes. It's just a crazy versatile system.
5:03 - why are you calling the hand grip mounting ports "cold shoe adapters"? The grips have electronic controls therefore they are hot, and there's nothing being adapted.
Thanks you :)
Can we take it easy on the orange and teal?
In a RUclips filmmaking tutorial?? Never...lmao
😂😂😂😂
great beginner tutorial, right from DARK, no lens, no battery, but hope no camera men where harmed in this picture, as at 13:24 it looks like you have a missile lock on him :-/
I want to know how to use cheaper storage, the DJI SSD is a full on rip off, why don't you mention how expensive it is? 1k$ vs 100. thats not funny.
