    Hooray for hair tutorials! This is so so simple and was so so requested when I posted a picture to IG over Thanksgiving, and I always get so many questions and interest when I wear it out, so here it finally is for you guys!
    I'm still working out the sound for voiceovers because I'm not happy with how scratchy it is, but it's whatever.haha Right now I'm averaging one hair tutorial a year, so if I wait till everythings perfect than you won't see one till next december.haha
    Thanks for watching and have a great Holiday week!

    I want to say how happy I am for this tutorial. I'm 45 years old, and though I love keeping my hair long, I've never very skilled at styling my own hair (a friend teased me that 'I don't know how to girl'). I couldn't even get the hang of French braiding, and figured I'd just have to stick with a basic 3-strand forever. But something about your tutorial clicked with me, and for the first time in my life I actually managed to replicate a braid tutorial with perfect results. I've since adopted the single side braid as my 'going out' look, and twin side braids for wear-a-day, and absolutely love them. It may sound silly, but I can't begin to tell you what a confidence booster it was to learn how to do this, and I'm astounded it actually can be done in under two minutes. Thank you so much for a great tutorial!

    My hair is very long & usually I put it in a bun at work, but I wore this the other day & everyone went crazy over it! The tip with the dry shampoo is seriously life changing, my hair is very slippery & won't pancake on its own but with the dry shampoo it fluffs out really nicely!

    Cool! thanks!
    Note: I was struggling with the last part for about half an hour, when I figured I was working on my right side, so doing the braid clockwise, which meant I had to do the twisting reversed, so counter clockwise. But yay, figured it out!

      That used to be me too. But you have good hair, having thick hair is nice cause many girls would die to have it they get extensions. When you get to high school (if you aren't yet) you'll probably adapt and find a way to make it look cute just embrace it :) find tutorials and practice it.

    Thankyou so much for doing this! I have extremely long hair and have wanted to do french braids on my hair since i was about 5... my mother paid for me to have it done once when I was very young and despite a million watches on youtube, I just can't seem to get the knack of french braids. Fish tails... done it. Nailed it... now killed it. Used it everyday forever and ever and so rubbish because it's not french braids. BUT THIS IS DO ABLE. FOR ANYONE! I love you for it. My hair loves you for it.

      To save you time, I can tell you that having long hair will not necessarily work for this (lol). I have a lot of long, fine hair but mine is sleek. If I use something to give it texture, then it works a bit better for me.

    the rope braid downwards when I tied it with my pony tail it just opened

    • @annamariachasta
      @annamariachasta 7 лет назад +22

      Nawal Zahra this is why you really NEED to twist them individually before twisting them together. Imagine twisting two ropes only. they open because they do not get tied together. They are just wrapped around each other. This is why the clockwise twist is important. As you go down, twist them individually and then together once. Then individually and then again together once. If I can make it with my short thin hair, anyone can!

    • @justcallmeteacup4711
      @justcallmeteacup4711 6 лет назад +4

      @@princessbuttercup2087 Natural hair, referring to black women who wear their hair curly (think afro or springy coils, for example) instead of straightening it with relaxers. The term natural hair is kinda a way of differentiating between the two since the curls is what our hair is meant to look like when we don't alter it chemically or otherwise

      haha I'm sorry you had issues Simon, but how long is your hair? In your profile photo it looks really short!

    I love these braids. My hair is soooooo thick that I find I have issues getting this braid to work. I can do the front but incorporating hair from the back ha yeah right. I think straightening my hair will help to flatten it out. See everyone I've watched as a normal or small amount of hair. When I say my hair is thick ummm its not an under statement. If anyone reads this and has any idea or knows of tutorials for thick hair by all means please share. I do everyone else's and I just want to get back to doing something cute for myself. A boost of confidence is what I call it.😀

    Thank you! This was so easy. I have a very hard time braiding my own hair, but not with this braid and it looks great.
