Ugh, I cannot braid my own hair to save my life. It's so thick, I get confused with which sections to braid, then it ends up looking like some weird twist :( I'm only good at putting my hair half up, and straightening and curling it. That's about it lol.
Your videos are by far the best explained videos I've run across. As a LDS Utahn myself it's nice to have many other options. If you every need another longer hair length I'd gladly volunteer. My hair is just past my rear end.

I absolutely LOVE the Dutch lace braid...I always like to do two lace Dutch braids on each side and bring them into little messy buns on each side it looks so cute..I get so many compliments cause it looks so complicated but I always tell people it's really not hard it's super easy..I also like to pancake my braids as much as I can..I do have some layers and some very stubborn bangs that I'm really trying hard to grow out..My hair was very long but in January I donated it and it's finally gotten longer..Love your tutorials Missy I have muscular dystrophy and my hands do get very weak at times but you break it down and speak very slowly so with you by my side sweetheart I can accomplish some of my favorite hairstyles..You're a doll and I adore you Thanks so much for being you!!

start with simple plait. keep trying whenever you're free. you'll get a hang of it eventually

you can, but it is more difficult. Do it with wet or gelled hair, and when you get close to the tips pin that down underneath and keep braiding.
