I can see a lot of people that have a big group of racers making these a new platform. They look pretty cool but yeah the price does seem high for a 3s. They will probably drop the price in a year or two after they recoup R&D expenses, or if it just doesn't sell well. At $400 I could see these taking off though. The DB Pro is still my favorite 10 scale of all time
I've noticed that a lot of people are failing to realize that the rzr rey is a scale rc. It isn't built to handle or jump like a basher. I have enjoyed mine so far. I will say that the suspension is under-dampened out of the box. Even when you scale it to a real rzr. I swapped shock oils to 40wt front and 50wt rear. It handles a lot closer to scale now. I will say that $620 for the rzr rey is too much. Especially for an rc that has cheap plastic shocks that love to leak and an underpowered rtr steering servo.
And people keep shitting on traxxas ALL the Time! I played last week with the mini B (the vintage version), super small, top speed maybe 10 KM/h , supee small transmitter, 150 euros...
I can definitely say that going in to this RC with the details and the quality of parts that is the reason why they are asking $620 once I did the tire and wheel swap to something more aggressive This thing turned into a machine but for that scale realism leave the stock factory tires on it. I am probably part of the 10% or 7% of people that agree with Losi and thoroughly enjoyed this RC. 👍💯👊
Didn´t really expect to see Guy here, too. :-P I am not going to buy this one, but you sir, did convice me to seriously consider it at one point, because of the way it supposed to be driven and just for what it is.
While I think this would be a lot of fun to own, $620 is too high. I've seen this in person and I feel it still has a toy feel to it, but in a bigger size. I think if it had a $450 price point, it would be more reasonable. This just seems too expensive. The Lasernut is $540 and has way more scale details.
It is a 1/6 vehicle with 1/10 parts that explains price & marketing for all the whiners, great review & rip Brett appreciate your positive energy & feedback 😉👍
@Edwin Cordero RC oh I totally agree it's to expensive. But I also understand that stuff is going up and this is a totally new model so new tooling and stuff has to be paid for some how. I'd imagine the price will come down and they will be more popular
Looks like loads of fun, but definitely a good ~$120 overpriced. If this retailed for $500 I think it would have sold better. And to think, the newly released Promoto is $70 cheaper and contains piles of fully custom and brand new tech. Again, if it was cheaper I might consider it, but for that much money you could get something much cooler in my opinion. It does look like a serious good time and it handled that loose terrain very well!
This thing is the epitome of what is wrong with the rc world. Manufacturers constantly pumping out the same tired old electronics from 5+ years ago and just wrapping it up in some shiny new plastics. Then charging an arm and a leg for it like it's some new, innovative, never before seen thing. The price on this thing is absolutely ridiculous. It's disgusting that rc manufacturers extort people like this. It's even more disgusting when the more well-off people in the hobby try to justify it just to make their ego feel better.
why do brands keep doing this, this is a small vehicle in real life so the losi should be a 1/8 the same with the axial version should be a 1/10, they named the scale for the size it is not for what its based on
@@BeardRubEnjoyer yea fire teams platform is way way different than an actual RZR 1000 or a can am.... It's actually a Mohave really.... This losi RZR is way different than a fireteam...
Looks cool, unfortunately if this buggy has true Polaris realism it'll have under quality designed into it as does every other Polaris ATV/UTV. which means it'll either catch fire or have many recalls. And don't bother about the warranty, I'm sure Polaris scaled that down too. I'm a little disappointed on horizon/Losi on this one.
When I start seeing guys modifying this thing, that tells me the price is way too high for something you have to upgrade. No thanks. It's cool, but not over $600 cool.
It’s an Overvolted Radio shack special that’s not even worth half the price. It’s balance, high center narrow wheel base basically makes it work like the Chevrolet Blazers of the 90’s and them things had one of the worst rollover ratings ever. To sum it up, yes it looks nice but the engineering is horrible. Needs to be wider and higher with the wheels moved out to the corners and have a way better reactive suspension than it does. It’s reacts like a cheap toy. The cost of it and then the cost to make what it should be is worthless. You can spend $1,000-1,200 on it and no just no. Somebody really dropped the ball on its development. That’s all I’m saying.
The ugliest RC ever! Maybe they should make a Pontiac Aztec RC to bump this away from the bottom of the list of RC cars I want 🤪 Sorry, just not at all a fan of this one.

Thanks for the shout, Brett! 🙌🏼 I hope these catch on, it’s a fun drive and very different from what’s already out. 😃👍🏼
You bet! Good video.

I have watched quite a few reviews on this RZR. This is one of the best unboxing reviews I have seen. Nicely done!
Losi and Traxxas never disappoint, they were the undisputed kings of RC 12 years ago when I got into the hobby and they still are now.
The price on this may be really off putting, but that does look like an absolute blast.
That thing is awesome! However, I like Hemistorm's custom rig much more. Great review as always Brett!
Brilliant filming and an interesting ride 😊

There’s nothing they could do to justify this price.

Great video 😊😊😊😊this rc truck is so awesome i want it haha 😊😂
Those slow mos were awsome
Looks really cool and it's nice to have a new UTV outside of the Axial Yeti JR... but damn that pricetag.

Its a 1/6 scale of a lil razor..Thats why it the size of a normal 10th rc
I can imagine races of all RZR cars.

$600 or so for a fun and unique 6th scale rig sounds good to me!!

Maverick X3 Turbo... Lower longer stance, more suspension travel
Waaaaayyy too expensive for a 3s rc platform.
its a 200 dollar rc with a 400 dollar licence😂
Looks like they had to make a whole new assembly line to build it. That price has to go somewhere. Either buy it and enjoy or just pass it up.
Run it on 4s. Motor may not like it much but it'll run for a while 🤣🤣🤣

$619.00 is hilarious to say the least. 🤣
When you crash you just pop the plastic back into place. It really is licensed by Polaris!
0:16… that sort of performance is exactly why I wouldn’t want one… along with the $620 price.
A lot of people complain about the price but if you think about it as 6th scale its cheap lol also its basically normal price for losi
why would you buy this over a arrma fireteam?

Laughable “1/10” scale claim. Seen it in person, looks very toy-grade
Then buy a cheap one from the toy store problem solved.
