Thanks for sharing this with us. I initially used the Headrush FRFR108 with my tone master pro and thought it sounded pretty good while playing live. I haven't used the Tone Master FR -12 yet live but it does sound really good at home so I'm looking forward to using this in a pub gig in a few months. Best wishes 👍👍🎶🎶😎😎

Have you used it to play at home at low volume? Does it respond well to los volume or is it necessary to turn up the volume and, in gris case, it would no longer work at home?

I just got mine today and this thing is amazing and super loud but even better it makes you sit in the proper frequency range so you sit in the mix perfectly without having to be way to loud

How many ppl have had the very loud buzzing noise even when nothing is plugged in? I keep hearing stories about these having an insane buzz even when nothings plugged in. I wanna love it and get one BUT, it seems there’s an issue with them.

    • @zray3

Fender resolved this issue on more recent productions. Apparently if you have one with the hiss you can email them and they will ship replacement parts

this or the 12 inch? i'm just playing in a bedroom but i want to play mostly metal. i'm thinking the 10 should be good since my monitors for ampsims are yamaha hs-7 (6.5inch speakers). i want this for a more natural guitar playing experience with a strymon iridium or preamp pedal into a cabsim as well as trying amp sims out from my audio interface.

I tried the Fender ToneMaster FR12 at a Guitar Center and the electrical buzz was terrible. It wasn't just amp white noise either and you could hear it while I was playing the guitar. It was also very bass heavy, but I am thinking I could use the modeler to help with that. The equalizer is very subtle too. I wanted to love it as I really like the tones coming from it.

Are you even using an IR to feed this? It doesn’t sound like it to me. A user MUST feed this amp a complete guitar tone. Preamp, tone, effects, amp, speaker, mic all need to be present before the FR spkr.

    • @justinplaysguitar
      @justinplaysguitar 5 месяцев назад +1

@@jconner3891 so the part that it sounds like a blanket is because he’s using the cut knob. That’s what it does when you’ve set your preset and ir s way to hissy the cut knob throws a blanket over it. Mine just arrived today and I only had about two hours of jamming and this thing sounds Amazing compared to most others and those others cost4 or 5 times as much. The Gemini fr cab single is 1750 and I think the stereo is 2400 or 2700 and this thing is just as good if not better and if you want stereo just get another one or the fr12 to have the best of both worlds

    • @artysanmobile

No. This is a special-use product simulating high quality stage monitor speakers. There is no guitar amp circuitry in this at all.

I hate mine. I bought the Kemper profiler player and the fender fr-10. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I hate the sound. It just couldn't sound more fake. They say I need to learn to use the Kemper. Christ I've spent 2 weeks. What do I have to do to take a college course for this thing.
P.S. I found out what I was doing wrong. I dropped the high cut on the Kemper output to 3K and raise the low-cut to 82 HZ. Made an absolute world of difference. Still sounds a little crappy at bedroom level. But damn when you turn it up this thing is a beast.

    • @Worklikeyoushouldbe

I heard on Anderton's videos that you don't have a modeling Pedal you have a capturing pedal and they can sound fake if you don't have the right capture. Try downloading a new file for the sound you want. Fender's new tone master pro is a modeling amp pedal so it's good from the start and can be tweeked much easier. Good luck!

@@Worklikeyoushouldbe I got my Kemper sounding good on my studio monitors. I ran the high cut on the EQ all the way down to 3k. So I did the same thing on the Kemper output. I dropped the high cut to 3K and raise the low-cut to 82 HZ. That made an absolute world of difference. Like 75% of the fakie digital sound is gone. And damn this fr-10 really comes alive when you turn it up. Wow I am really impressed.

@@aleonyohan6745 nice! Yeah I hear so many different comments about these things being good or bad but if you play with em, they can honestly sound amazing. For YEARS I've been practicing through a Line 6 Flextone II that had a decent sound and many different models to choose from. But over the years I've added a T-Rex Tap tone delay (all nobs at 0) SP mini compressor, Tumnus, and a Chorus pedal going into the amp to take away the "flatness" of the digital sound. All my friends agree it's pretty dang good. I bet this gizmo needs to be treated the same way in order to get the best out of it.

this is closest thing to a solid state amp WITHOUT built in effects Fender makes.
I dont see why you could drive this thing with a boost and a tube screamer.
