Oooof, just spent $81k on a new Platinum... Really don't want to be drilling holes into such visible locations of body parts. You guys have any plans on inner grille mounts? Or somewhere else less visible?
Hey 1965 Shelby congrats on the new platinum! Once you've got your LED bar mounted you wont be able to see any holes etc. so no worries there! As for the inner grill, there are functional restrains that make that location less ideal. Thanks for your comment & suggestion! Please let us know how we can serve you further!
I doesn’t look like you’re drilling the “bumper” just the valance which pops right off.. by the looks of if it, probably not a lot of money to replace when you are ready to sell or remove
Two questions please: How would the install be different if you were connecting to the aux switches in a 2022 Tremor? The connection wires are right behind the battery. Since they're only bolted to that valance, do the lights vibrate a lot when the truck is moving or going inner over bumps?
Hey Rob! If you have AUX switches then instead of running your harness into the cab and mounting a switch on the dash you would simply connect the power wire from the harness directly to the AUX wire you wanted to use inside the engine bay. No vibration or movement once the bar is tightened down using the included hardware! We would love to see some pics of this unit installed on your Tremor! =) Stand Out & Shine Brighter!
Hi, I'd like to connect the wiring that way, so I can switch the light bar on and off together with the regular high beams on the steering column. How do I, do that?
Hey Dan, that's a great question I wish I could answer but I'll have to direct you to our customer support experts for a solution! I know this is possible, but I do not know the process or how difficult it might be! You can reach out to customer support through one of the options shown on the page in the following link: www.f150leds.com/pages/contact-us
What if I would like to run the cable harness on the passenger side and not drivers to avoid crossing the engine bay to reach my upfitter wires? (23 tremor Just flip the light upside down?
Hey Fred! You can certainly run the cabling on the other side but we would suggest routing through the grill etc vs flipping the light bar itself. The Paladin series has built in wind foils that are designed to be down, not facing up. Please let us know if we can help further, we look foward to serving you soon!
Thank you. Another question I have is I would like to avoid pulling the valance or else I would have to remove my fender flares.. is there a way to mount without having to remove valance?
Hey Fred! Currently you would need to remove the valence, but don't worry, as shown in the video it is very easy! Please let us know how else we can serve!
Hi, im looking to get this bar for my f150 tremor that already comes with in dash auxiliary switches. Would I be able to connect the bar to my factory aux switches?
Hi there! Absolutely you can! You would just need to use the blue wire from the bars wire harness to connect to your desired AUX switch. please reach out direct to the support team who can provide more details! Thank you for the opportunity to serve you! www.f150leds.com/pages/contact-us
Hi there Dub! That is correct, the LED blue ring stays lit but its energy draw is extremely light so you don't have to be concerned about battery drain etc. You can connect to ignition if you were concerned. Thanks for your question and support, we look foward to serving you soon!
Thanks Rick! Yes our harness has built in fuse protection and you can certainly route the harness inside the grill to be hidden etc. Stand Out & Shine Brighter!
Hey there! The power draw from the small light on the switch is so insignificant that it will not affect your battery as long as the truck is cycled at least every few months. Thanks for your question and for being apart of the F150LEDs family! We look foward to serving you soon!
Hi there! Do you mean to secure the brackets to the bumper? We would recommend the included bolts as shown. Thanks for your support, we look foward to serving you soon!
The switch ring turns green when the LED lights are active and remains a Ford blue when your LED lights are inactive, even when the truck is not running. The switch draw is very small so no need to worry about it slowly draining your battery. We have them equipped across our truck fleet without any battery related issues.
Hi there! Thanks for your question, through various testing we found the installation method displayed is the best option. It is very easy to drill the location and shows no sign of drilling once the light is in place. Please let us know how we can serve you further!
Hey Mathew! Generally we do not but please reach out directly to our support team and we will see if we can get you taken care of! www.f150leds.com/pages/contact-us
Hey Ben! We have a specific 210W CREE LED bar application for the Raptors that would probably be a better fit for your 22 Raptor than the 180W application. We would love to get some pics of it installed on your Raptor too!
Thanks Iggy! We did a lot of testing and have thousands of fellow F150 owners loving their Paladin bars with zero issues but we understand it may not for everyone! Thanks for your support!
Hey Chris! The light is designed to work with your Lariat utilizing the short bracket set, many lariat like you have had great success. Same here I bought a new tremor and after spending 75k I don’t want to drill a hole in the bumper

Same here, don't want to do any drilling on anything
Diode dynamics has brackets that mount into the space where the bumper is, all bolt on amd no drilling at all

Will there be a yellow or amber snap on lens available sometime soon?
That's an interesting thought! We don't currently have plan to make these but I will pass this on to R&D ASAP! Thank you for the suggestion!
@@F150LEDs hey, no problem!! Hope R&D goes for it! I’m looking to get a new F150 next year, this would be a nice add on!!

Could it be too heavy and crack the plastic lip?
Hey @Paul, No there is no risk of any cracking etc. Thanks for your support, we look forward to the opportunity to serve you!
Does the wiring harness include a relay in it or is it just a straight 12v to the switch?
Hi there! The harness includes a built in relay 👍. Thank you for your question, we look foward to serving you soon!
Looks great. Two questions:
Does the wiring harness have a fuse ?
Did you route/zip tie the wire behind the grill to hide it a little bit?
Thank you.
Thanks Rick! Yes our harness has built in fuse protection and you can certainly route the harness inside the grill to be hidden etc. Stand Out & Shine Brighter!
@phillipbaker3933I imagine these are “for off road use only”
So just to confirm, the little switch in the truck would always be lit? Won’t that hurt the battery?

Love how this fits! What is the length of this light bar?
Thanks Riley, we always design our bars to specifically fit the Ford Trucks we all love! This 180 watt bar is 38" long!
Does the premium in dash switch light turn off when the vehicle is off?
The switch ring turns green when the LED lights are active and remains a Ford blue when your LED lights are inactive, even when the truck is not running. The switch draw is very small so no need to worry about it slowly draining your battery. We have them equipped across our truck fleet without any battery related issues.
Do you offer the complete wiring harness
Hey Chris, we include everything you need to complete this install including the harness!
I just ordered the push button
Has anyone come up with a reliable method to install this without drilling into the bumper?
