Part 2 of this should be the stadiums that's had the most missed field goals. Based on % since older stadiums will always win. It's a daunting task but also interesting, I think.
I recall the 2022 College Football Championship at Sofi being very affected by the weather despite being a dome as it was taking place during a massive rain storm with a lot of wind. It was like a miniature cyclone in the bowl of the staduim.
A friend of mine used to work at old Soldier Field and every once in a while we would play Frisbee on the field and I have to say the wind was very unpredictable. You could throw it about 20 yards and the would make die, just suddenly drop or go left or right. It was amazing.
Good video! Personally feel Buffalo is the most difficult to kick in. The below ground field and the lack of stands at both ends cause the wind to swirl around way more than it should. That’s not to mention the snow…
Actually, snow is not that rare in the Winter in Seattle (as it snows about 10-15 days/yr). They are actually an hour and a half from the ocean as the body of water is called a Sound.
Candlestick Park(former home of the San Francisco 49ers) was sometimes hard, due to wind(and sometimes the grass was a problem). The wind was even worse for baseball, hence the Giants moving to (now) Oracle Park
Absolutely! In fact, it’s the first one that came to mind for me. Kezar seemed difficult too, not because of weather conditions, but the playing surface (grass) was always in crappy shape.
Philly earned its spot above Baltimore just by being more likely to get snow in-season. It wasn't even close back when the Ravens had turf. Buffalo would be even higher on the list if it was grass
Why does natural light affect field goal kicking? Also, do these stadium ratings take missed FG percentage into consideration? Thanks a lot for another great video !
Seattle doesn't get snow because of the proximity to a large body of water that regulates temperature and makes freezing temperatures rare. Because it's rare for temperatures to get below freezing and because there isn't much wind this stadium shouldn't be so high.
@@Undecided0 dc and baltimore are over 100 miles south of nyc, theres a difference, all it takes is to be below a freeze line and you get rain instead of snow
Why was Lambeau completely left off? Gotta be top 10, so does Foxbrough. Talk about two tough environments to kick in. Especially in January. Huge misses
CORRECTION: MAJOR LOCATION ERROR - MetLife, Inc. Stadium 🏟️ is NOT IN NEW YORK. It is PHYSICALLY LOCATED in the Borough of East Rutherford, Bergen County, New Jersey, about seven miles west of New York City/Manhattan. 🤷♂️🤦♂️🏈 - Also. There is only ONE NFL football 🏈 team in the State of New York. The Buffalo Bills 🦬 (Town of Orchard Park, Erie County, New York). 👈😃👍 - BTW.....I'm from New Jersey. 😁
Buffalo is worse imo than Cleveland the open side of the stadium gets hit with the wind at a 45 degree angle causing unpredictable swirling. At least Cleveland is closed on the side the wind comes in
@@forgottenplaces9780it doesn't matter much. The wind off Lake Erie will hit that stadium and it's orientation means it will grab that lake wind. Neither stadium is good, but to say Orchard Park won't get lake wind is wrong. I have been there and it gets a swirling wind because of it's design and orientation to get that lake breeze off Lake Erie. Plus the lake effect snow means any snow game is magnified
Which ever one Cody parkey is kicking in

I bet some stat nerd site has numbers on that, but still worth the video
This is a very intresting video today!
Love your content!

It's because how open the sides are. I've been to SoFi twice, and it's amazing how it can start feeling like a wind tunnel later in the NFL season.

I’m going to miss weather playing a part in football
Great video as always man !
Acrisure stadium. Pittsburgh.

The old giants stadium.
The teams would actually let wind in!
Buffalo is by far the worst. Because the field is below grade, the winds actually come down onto the field and swirl.
Great video. Thanks 🏈
Ironically, most recently all these kickers refused to miss in front of Justin Tucker in Baltimore
I believe metlife has really weird wind which makes it very difficult to kick there

DC, Baltimore, Philly, & NYC weather isn’t really that different. Usually if it snows in one city, it snows in the rest.

Lambeau is #5
@@christephorhoke2567 its on there apparently you missed it
Cowboys stadium being East-West makes it the hardest indoor stadium

My team wins something lol
Y’all beat the Packers for the first time in 6 years
Wonder when that pic of Lambeau was taken, flags look half staff.
I think sometime in the 2007 preseason

You could say the AlamoDome in San Antonio as any kick would be no good as there would be no NFL game taking place.
