Meet Shaun Booker, a renowned international artist whose known for her unique sound and captivating performances. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, USA
Shaun developed a love for music at a young age and started singing in her Grandfather's church.
Shaun Booker's career in music began when she released Upstairs Downstairs in 1998. Since then, Shaun has released multiple albums, including Shaun Booker Live at Last @ the Alrosa Villa, Shaun Booker Live in Marietta at The Lafayette Hotel, Blue Plate Special and Angry Blues, each showcasing her unique style and evolution as an artist.
Shaun has toured extensively throughout Europe and South America, performing at major venues and festivals. Her electrifying performances have earned her a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim, with music transcending language and cultural barriers.
In addition, Shaun is known for her philanthropic efforts and advocacy work, using her platform to raise awareness and support for important issues.
With her unmistakable talent and dedication to her craft, Shaun continues to make an impact on the international music scene and inspire fans around the world.
Award-winning musician, producer, and journalist Sean Carney won first place with his band at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, in 2007, kickstarting a fifteen-year period of international touring that included concerts in 29 countries and more than 50 European tours.
Carney founded Blues For A Cure in 2007. The program has raised more than half a million dollars for cancer research, most notably funding The Heather Pick Music Program at The OSU James Cancer Hospital. Additionally, Carney has introduced hundreds of young musicians to roots music and performance through his CAMP Blues program at The Jazz Academy.
Carney worked as a newspaper reporter in Florida during a two-year sabbatical from music, covering local government, including town council, the fire commission, and the county commissioners for The Island Sand Paper on Fort Myers Beach.
Carney’s musical and journalist world culminates with Sean Carney’s Inside Blues on WCBE. He covers the latest music from the blues industry and educates with the pre- and post-war rhythm and blues that would go on to shape the sound of western popular music.

I was lost, but look what I found!
My old house as a kid had a spot where you could sit and watch the rain sweep in from some distance away, over the trees, riding the wind until you could start to hear the patter on the leaves and eventually on the roof.
If I knew there was a storm coming I’d try to hurry to that place and stay really still to capture the feeling again and again. I wasn’t even that sentimental of a kid but something about that feeling always moved me and reminded me of gratefulness, sorrow, loneliness, and quiet.
