I don't like Twyla's hair and clothes but the makeup it's so pretty. And she FINALLY has blueish eyebrows, it looks so much better. I will have her on my collection just because of the eyebrows

i don't get why they didn't pull an lol surprise and just.. use cardboard for the packaging? why did they have to use plastic for the lockers ????? that would probably be cheaper and also like. less bulky ?

Making socks is definitely more effort and this method saves fabric since they can just cut long strips
I recently started collecting mh dolls and I also recently found your channel and I’ve been liking your videos a lot!
Maybe if they showed the doll and made an advent calendar style display with out all the plastic. Cause there’s absolutely no surprise. Lol I ordered Venus asap will get the other two on sale.
I genuinely think this could’ve been one of my fave lines other than the core refresh but then they made the socks unusable!! I’m still upset about it.. for the amount of money these things cost you’d hope they could give the dolls actual socks ??
Fun fact, the tongs are actually shown in Draculaura’s stock photos. But for some reason everyone including me have gotten them with Twyla

I love this line the designs are so cute but the poly is just terrible like Mattel can excuse Twyla for the poly hair cuz she has short hair but no they didn't I wish it was saran
that little plastic piece that you don’t know what for is actually to hold the doll more stable in the elevator compartment thing. it hooks in and just holds the doll in place

I know this wasnt how u were supposed to use the pieces of clothing but I used all 4 for one outfit which I think looks good
So venus is the only one of the three that has full stockings
No her feet are cut off too but they are closer to full stockings
She is really cute but like you, i do not like the socks and poly hair. I did buy her though i just really wish Mattel would use saran. I can just hear your Mom when you were a kid " Lizzie ! Stop eating your toys" lol 😂 😂
Idk why or how but I actually like draulaura now. Im still a Twyla fan but uh yeah.

i love this twyla, her makeup is so pretty 😭 i ended up styling her with the boots and scrunching those horrible half-socks around the tops like boot cuffs. tbh i would’ve rather the socks not be included than what we got. 🫤 venus’ tights being footless are easier to overlook and we’ve had that piece in the past, but these sorry excuses for socks are just … so bad. and draculaura’s are even worse since they’re fitted to the fuller part of her calf and she has fuller calves than twyla. they’re basically meant to be knee socks but they only cover the top half of her leg. pls mattel never again!!
also, i agree with you, i prefer the older style of coffin lockers. while the gate-closet looks pretty, it doesn’t have as much storage space - especially for the wider/bulkier pieces like the backpacks - and the open bars in the back are a bigger risk for tiny accessories sliding out and getting lost. the coffin lockers were also flat and stacked evenly, and these don’t unless you take the lever out. i kinda wish if mattel is going to insist on continuing to use this packaging/reveal gimmick, they’d limit it to one doll per series. make it draculaura, since we know she’s going to be in every single one until the end of time. bill it as a more deluxe version, give us the other dolls in the regular packaging. i think a lot of people would be much happier and more inclined to buy doubles.
