king mickey may have gained a crown with the Kingdom Key D/ Star Cluster, and the Crown Unlimit Keyblade may have implied a crown went to one of the BBS trio. However I don't think Riku holds the Oblivion Keyblade's Crown, instead Roxas does. Honestly I suspect that the Crowns either refers to keyblades with crown motifs or the princesses of light (possibly both as a paired set).
People theorize that the player Character is possibly Xehanort for KH:Union Cross.
I'm almost surprised he didn't even mention Mickey, so far, all the 7s have had at least one Disney character, Mickey is a king, king=crown, and he's also a very powerful keyblade wielder.

I always thought the seven crowns were the fortellers, the master and Luxu. They will oppose Sora who may end up being the "darkness".

@@HMK In all seriousness, I agree with Lariuam being part of the Seven, but as to whom I think who should lead, I don't think Sora would be the first choice, sure he's the guy that travels from world to world, saving many individuals one at a time, but that guy needs a break from leading! For me, I think either Luxu or Yozora should lead.
For Luxu, he's the guy who sort of started it all, being taught by the MoM and knows of his plan, plus he knows what's in the box! What that is, we still don't know!
For Yozora, like you said, Verum Rex translates to True King, that would mean that if he's gonna be one of the Seven, it should be fitting that Yozora should take up the leader mantle.

Honestly I don't think anyone is destined for a crown. At least on our side. The M.O.M. has been set up as an antagonists via the chess board in KH3 ending. Him, the 5 foreteller and Luxu have pieces representing them on the board. We know Sora is on the other side.
M.O.M. also said anyone can use them so it isn't a matter of royalty or the symbols meaning you are worthy or are going to get one but just that you find it and use it. We also have no idea what the crowns look like or even do. In theory Sora might already have one via his choker. It could be something as simple as that for what it is and its power could be access to the keyblade. Really all we have is a name of an abstract item.
Now the crowns might not even be relevant to phase 2. I personally think we are going to have this phase called the finding Sora Arc where we follow each group during the time period that Sora is in Quadrada building up the threats from the willful darkness, M.O.M., foretellers and Luxu. We will likely have this come to a head in phase 3 where we are likely going to have a very Sora centric story of him mastering the powers he obtained since KH3 to be able to match M.O.M.
The M.O.M. is planning genocide for the dark and has multiple times set up situations where a universe would be destroyed. Data universe the Dandelions were in with only 7 possible survivors, the KH universe via Xehanort resetting the world using Kingdom Hearts and the X-blade. He legitimately planned for these in his quest to destroy the darkness.
He and Sora are not going to be friends. It has been implied that the "Crowns" might be in the box.
I somehow read "The 7 Clowns of Light" and don't know how to feel about it.

Everyone is is speculating about these 7 crowns while I am still wondering if and when Demyx will fit into this story lol. But yeah I can't wait to learn more about these 7 Hearts. I swear if we get Laurium into our party at some point, I am going to flip (or Luxord for that matter).
I think the 7 Crowns just refers to those who use the 7 Pods of the lifeboat.
The first was Maleficent.
The second was the “True Dandelion”.
We know that 3 of those remaining spots belong to Ventus, Lauriam/Marluxia, and Elrena/Larxene since we know for a fact that they’re all from the past.
Leaving two spots open. Maybe it’s simply Luxord and Demyx’s original selves? Since they’re also supposed to have a hidden Keyblade legacy but the final Union X update(s) is coming soon so I doubt they really have time to introduce both Luxord and Demyx.
The Master said anyone could end up using them.
I think he meant the pods, but I could be wrong.

I have been curious about if the seven crowns are physical objects that can read a person's light and can choose a wielder to wield them. Perhaps when an individual is chosen they combine with a keyblade to evolve the keyblade and awaken potiential within the wielder.
I fully agree with the 4 obvious choices. I also agree that the other picks are quite possible. I strongly want Aqua to be one of the seven. She is my favorite character and I would feel like saving her from the darkness was a side quest and not a stepping stone for her if she doesn't become one. It would feel like an injustice. She needs to shine and have more importance than what has unfolded for her this far. We need to also experience some of these other characters without it being all about Sora. I would love a break to explore other heros and see them come into their own and awaken as one of the true seven.

No offense to Roxas fans but dude should not get too much additional screen time, same goes for Xion. There’s other characters that need it way more. Kairi and Ven to name a few, mysterious characters we know very little about.
Sora, Riku, Kairi, are definitely givens... I can see Aqua and Yozora having one as well. Mickey would make sense to be a crown as he's a king... but I really want Roxas to be one as well; because of his connection to Sora, and the fact that he strived for his own existence. Or I could just be biased because I love him. Lol.
Doesn't Yozora's Jacket sleeve have a crown emblem on it as well, further showing his connection as a crown

Bruh leave Xehanort alone his saga ended already, he’s in heaven with Eraqus now the only reason why he was in Melody of memories was bcuz of Kairi’s memories
Well...only thing I can think of that that is yet to be discovered that no one addresses, is how does Elrena come back into the picture to be sent to the future when she hasn’t been in the picture in who knows how long at this point, and there is still no answer on when Demyx even came to the picture period. The out of the box(pun intended) answer to me is that Elrena for some reason is the true dandelion, and Demyx is from unreality given he uses an instrument(technology) to create illusion and attack like Yozora does. However, could be on the opposite spectrum because his is blue and Yozora is red. Like how when Sora awakens in Quadratum everything is red, and when Riku does everything is blue. Which could be a foreshadowing of a path that is not as it seems for the Sky and Night Sky in comparison to Riku who is immune to darkness, and Demyx is the only nobody that has felt since his earliest chronological documentation in 358/2 days. Maybe Demyx isn’t even a nobody. Maybe Demyx has always been himself with his technology and been forced to do whatever for whoever his chances of survival were because his constant state of fear of survival to begin with and he accidentally phased into the KH universe from Quadratum with no ability to understand how it even happened or why. I mean the dude has been kept out of any interaction of finding out anything on purpose and that could be because because of the knowledge the Xehanorts have about Quadratum purposefully have been keeping him away from until they find out the true secret to Quadratum themselves before a reveal. Haven’t played 358/2 since it came out but if I recall correctly, not even Luxord and Demyx have any interaction with each other either
For the 7 I believe it's the destiny trio and yozora making 4. Ven would make 5 for having a great role. 6 would be Aqua and lastly I would say the player character. Reasons why player character: originally was supposed to be a union leader but refused, turned to body got destroyed and made Xehanort and had that no heart armor with the crown, and 3rd reason is that I have a feeling that Namura is gonna bring back player character.
I think Skuld is Princess of Heart, actually. She might fill in one of the gaps, if Square wants to involve the original characters in with the whole ‘Princess’ mish-mash eventually. Along with Elrena and Moana, I think they fill in the last three Princesses.
But as for Crowns, I think it will be: Sora, Kairi, Riku, Yozora, Ava, Ventus, and Lauriam
Skuld is not a Princess of heart.

@@mulduls I know but seeing as Kairi is still a princess of heart I think there could only be one KH female that should be a princess of heart and the rest of six should be Princess's from the Disney franchise just like in the first game(Alice was only a replacement princess).If they reveal the rest of the three seven new princess's in KH4 I hope they turn out to be Moana,Tiana(The Princess and the Frog),and Merida(Brave).
@@humangirl2122 There's no written rule, and it would be much nicer if the Princesses actually had some importance to the overall plot again. If they added another original character as a Princess, it might help work that plotline back into relevance.

Inspired by the 7 virtues vs 7 deadly sins, I would like to try to list the 7 virtues and assign a possible character to them. Maybe, if the antagonists are named after the 7 deadly sins, it would make sense to try to find the true crowns that way. Since the crowns are supposed to be up for grabs, let's try to find people who throughtout the kh series have had or have developped these traits. Possible character will be mentioned from most probable to less probable.
So 1) chastity - also known as purity - could be Ventus or Kairi.
2) temperance, aka self restrain or self control, who other than Riku?
3) charity, this one is defined as "the voluntary giving of help to those in need, as a humanitarian act, unmotivated by self-interest". It is kinda tricky to seperate it from kindness. I feel like it could be Ava, but if she's here, then who is on the side of the sins? Sora could be a candidate as he has saved the world numerous times.
4) diligence... Um, in abscence of a better guess, I will go with Yozora. Seems like a hardworking guy, I mean, he 's got Luxord as a driver. or maybe someone from ancient times?
5) kindness, that one is blurry as well, I will go with Kairi, or Aqua, or, again, someone from the ancient times.
6) patience, now normally, I thought Aqua would be the top candidate for kindness, but then I thought that she spend 10 effing years literally waiting, so... yeah.
and 7) humility. This one puzzled me at first, but I concluded that most probable is Sora because"his friends are his power, without them he is nothing, 2 and a half pint" things, plus he never was or seemed arrogant.
Of course I could be totally off, but maybe, using the above logic, other people come to better guesses.
*EDIT*: Further points that support my theory: 1) The opposite of charity is greed (Latin Avaritia). The question of who is on the otherside remains though...
2) While we don't know the Mom's true name or identity, it is safe to say that the sin he would be associated is pride (latin Superbia). Keep in mind that "super-x" is written on the mysterious box. If MoM is THE main antagonist of the next saga, it would make sense for Sora, the main protagonist, to stand directly against him.
3) Ira and Invi could somehow be associated with Riku and Aqua respectively. Not exactly sure why, but it feels right. On the other hand, i should point out that matching Gula with Riku (and not Ventus), as well as Luxu with Riku, feels wrong.

We never see luxu's original body, it must be keep a secret for a reason. Maybe yozoras new body? (Def not lol)
Luxu's original body is long cast away, since he was swapping vessels over the ages for him to be able to end his role ordered by the Master of Masters and to keep eye on those that were suppose to be the new foretellers the Union Leaders hence why he was suppose to observe and not to touch in the events.
By using the life pods, he was able to bypass part of his role. Maybe that's why the true Dandelion is Ava, since at the end he says that her role to play was also over.
'Cause she was in the pod and soon to be able to act without MoM's orders, meaning that Ava has a great key point for the next part.
Also, Luxu was the last one to interact with Ava for her last appearance in Union Cross.

I think that the seven Crowns are 1, Sora 2, Riku 3, Kairi 4, Yazora 5, King Mickey he is a King and his Keyblade Kingdom Key D has a Gold Crown on its Keychain 6, Aqua 7, Luxu.
I believe one of the crowns would be Xemnas, remember... Xemnas and Ansem seeker of darkness originated from Terra's body, so Xemnas's heart would reside in Terra and when Xehanort was purged from Terra's body.. and additionally in some sense of the word, Xemnas did exhibit some of Terra's behaviors such as calling Aqua's keyblade armor 'friend' and those he sent to castle oblivion (Land of Departure) was looking for another friend referring to Ventus. I do believe Xemnas could return but appearance more so influenced by Terra, like the hair and eyes... *cough* Xemnas's armor in kingdom hearts 2 had a crown on it, even the same armor you fight in the mirage arena in kingdom hearts birth by sleep final mix in the 2.5 remix portion of the disk, has a crown..
ooo... iteresting theories on the new 7 lig- i mean crowns, could be interesting to see how these charicters interact especially as some of them were enemies in the xehanort saga
Only issue I have with this theory is the idea of Luxu being a Crown. At the beginning of Back Cover, MoM stated that he, the five Fortellers and Luxu were "the seven". At the end of KH3, Eraqus sets up a new chess match with seven black pieces each representing the Fortellers, as well as likely MoM and Luxu. While it may be possible that Luxu could be a Crown, the evidence from KH3 seems to suggest at the moment that he's not.

I think they will introduce someone in missing link , and they will carry on to be a crown. I’m guessing, demyx, or luxord.
My reasoning is that little is known about them, they are the members who have had the least amount of lore and development.

Ok I have done some thinking, here are my new thoughts on who the seven should be: Sora, Kairi, Riku, Yozora, Ventus, Lauriam (Marluxia's Scythe has a crown at the bottom of the hilt or pommel) and player character (turned to Xehanort, no heart armor has crowns, possible chance that Xehanort, the nobody, turned back into a somebody and comes back to be a being/ guardian of light that'll help save kingdom hearts)

If you do Data Greeting, use Yozora and take a picture of his sleeve. You'll find both of his sleeves have and emblem of a skull that resembles Sora and the cross Keyblades under it.
I wonder if we will meet the rest of the new 7 hearts. I did not like how they mentioned in KH3 and only 3 of them were shown, which leaves 3 if we count Kairi.
I always think back on the saying from the FFXV Omen Trailer, "To crown the king of light"
Ya know this has me thinking I've always had a star wars analogy with some of the characters like Sora I think of him like Anakin with his rage for he's always doing what's right but he remembers the darkness and sometimes he uses it to heal and fight with the darkness, and Kairi is his Padame
Then Riku is like his Obi-Wan crossed with mace windu cause they are like brothers and he doesn't let the darkness consume him he consumes it
Then Anti-Aqua is like Darth Vader, with the losing hope thing and Sora brought her back to the light.
Then Roxas is like Darth revan or maybe a true Jedi or true keyblade master there is no dark or light to him there is only right and wrong and light and dark are tools to be used together which is reflected in his fighting style one keyblade of light and one of dark and he always uses them in unison which is why he is such an unstoppable beast.
So my choices for the crowns are Roxas, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Aqua, Xion, Yozora.
As it is my belief that Sora is something entirely different kinda like a chosen one which also fits into my Anakin analogy of him and this supported by what Eriquis and Xehanort set up at the end of Kingdomhearts 3 we see Eriquis place a white king down which we know represents Sora as every time they do something with it something would happen to Sora, and your theory of the seven crowns is exactly what Eriquis sets up at the end seven black pieces (the seven crowns) and one white king piece with Sora's necklaces symbols the 7 crowns are his unique friends, cause as I explained Roxas is a unique person he use darkness and light together creating some new form of power, and Kairi and Riku are very close to him then I choose Mickey because well he never gives up he always has hope he showed that in is dramatic moment during re.mind plus without him Sora wouldn't have been able to save Kairi and none of them would have been able to close Xehanort's giant darkness heart, then I chose Aqua because well she's a master and Sora was always her choice as a keyblade wielder, then I chose Xion because of their connection to Sora, and then lastly I chose Yozora or Yozora when he finally regains his true form as we know this isn't his true form as he says that and he also has nobody ear rings to support his statement I believe Riku and Sora will help him save that mystery girl and regain his true form and after obtaining his true form and becoming whole then he will become the final crown.
As I believe the seven Crowns are unique people who will keep Sora from falling into the Darkness completely keeping him as he is in the light always holding on to it and only using the darkness when necessary and I believe as this chess game continues to more pieces will placed next to Sora along with seven crows and those 2 pieces representing Donald and Goofy cause we all saw how they were able to bring Sora back during the final battle with Xehanort, basically right now they are finding the 7 crowns and once they find them the 7 crowns will be on his side with something new ending up on kid Xehanort's side of the board representing the threat they must face with Master of Masters being the enemy and Sora is the key in other words maybe the master of masters plan is wrong and that is why my 7 crowns are so unique and Sora is the key player the white king fitting perfectly with my Anakin analogy because it's called the Rage form and when Anakin got made he'd use the dark with the light just like Sora see Sora is suppose to bring balance between dark and light or show the master of master that both need to exist and that's why his 7 crowns should be Roxas, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Aqua, Xion, Yozora, because Roxas already has a balance between the 2 forces which is why I picked him as the first crown and I think he's suppose to be the black piece that has a diamond symbolizing how different he is from all the others,
Then Riku and Kairi his metaphorical brother and his girlfriend one uses the darkness for light and the other is a princess pure light,
Then Mickey because of his hope and we know he's not completely light as he was able to pull the keyblade of darkness as it found him worthy Mickey represents the everyman he suffered in his past but he always stayed positive and learned from his experiences and from his master and eventually became king, he's the one who doesn't give up even when he's out matched and injured he presses on and finds the strength in his hope to succeed, think of Mickey like Yoda,
Then Aqua because she's the responsible one always trying to take the mantal of leader but she eventually learned she can't do it all alone so I think it's fitting,
Then Xion, well Xion is because well despite her purpose she chose her side I don't how to describe it but I think of Xion like Starkiller,
Then lastly true Yozora a man who had been through a lot and even lost his true self but despite this in end he end he did the right thing and regained his true self.
His 7 crowns show the balance of darkness and light in different ways with Roxas showing perfect balance, while Sora with his ability to recover from darkness and then use it with his Rage form shows that Darkness isn't all that bad and that eliminating darkness would eliminate Rage and anger emotions people need, Sora just an ordinary boy with a fate he didn't know about just like Anakin always staring to great beyond longing to see more, dang this actually all makes sense.
Maybe the 7 crowns are the 7 pure lights who will go out & give beatable forms to darkness using their own bodies.

Am I the only one who thinks Yozora is Luxu’s True Nobody on account of he casted his body aside a long time ago to traverse hearts (Brain being the first), and we know a person can’t truly die if they don’t perish with their heart and body in tact so his body/nobody must be somewhere. Plus Luxu has two different colored iris just like Yozora.
It would be cool if the users of the crowns are interchangeable since anyone can use one
I might not be a very lore play person on Kingdom Hearts, but I am a veteran player. Maybe one of the seven crowns could be Master Ava, unless I'm stupid and she's probably dead. Again, I'm very badly blind to the lore of the Kingdom Hearts series although being a veteran.

When he changed fate and was bringing everyone back, when working with Ventus he encountered darkness.
The KH4 trailer shows a heartless in quadratum. Unreality is a place where light and dark do not exist in the same sense, so how did a heartless get there? Sora brought darkness with him.
No Mickey, who is a king? I mean, I'm pretty sure they will focus into a more Final Fantasy-esque game, but I don't rule out Mickey.

Talking about crown, i started to think that for a while the story gonna finish with sora gonna be declared the king of hearth. Always being in the center of the chess board and all as the think if he captured it would be chess and all.

Marluxia might not get a crown (although I like him to)... But Strelitzia might! True Dandelion? White Coat? Pure and Innocent? Those should be qualities of a crown!
Maybe that whole battle in Re:Mind is Yozora trying to steal Sora's crown, hence "Falsus Rex"? Maybe because Sora's not as strong as Yozora, and the "wielder" needs to be powerful for some reason? Or maybe because the crown needs to stay in the "real" realm to protect the realm or something?

Eh, my thoughts is that terra instead of aqua getting a crown. Master eraqus did believe in him like he believed in his own son, and eraqus resided in terras heart for a long time, and so was xehanort.

I don’t think the seven crown are anything to be dedicating any thoughts to. I think it was just a phrase or expression used in passing nothing more. Only time will tell though but it’s just a bit too reminiscent of the whole 7 lights thing we’ve already been through.

assuming "lord of the castle" was meant to translate to the title "lord of the manor", then lauriam _wouldn't be a king or ruler._ the "lords of the manor" were saxon-era nobles who served as lawmakers in the manorial court. they were essentially _congressmen._ the ACTUAL king/queen was the one who granted them their political positions in the first place.
however, certain classes of lords did own estates and had the authority to issue *capital punishment* upon their tenants. so yeah, the title does still loop back around to the graceful assassin.

Eh, I think the crowns are just the light pieces of the x-blade. It would make sense as to why the Princesses of Heart don't actually need to be Princesses
I dont think the crowns are "crowns" per se... I think they are a type of keyblade. Or maybe a weapon of some kind.
Considering we still know nothing about what relates Demyx to "the ancient Keyblade Legacy" I'm guessing if he isn't MoM he's destined for a Crown

Yozora might end up being one of the seven considering he's Nomura's version of Noctis. Maybe the saving Sora plan comes to fruition in the future when the endgame comes.

It’s like chess. Most of our characters are said to be pawns in this battle. So... let’s follow this. How many pawns are on a chess set on one side? 8.
Ok... one off, so, that’s not perfect... but, that doesn’t mean it still doesn’t work. The MoM is working with absolutes here, not the arbitrary rules of a game like chess. Besides, it’s very unlikely for a chess game to have more then one or two pawns be promoted on total. So if we are going with both black and white, a total of 7 out of 16 total promotions in a game... that is certainly not out of the question.
My point is, perhaps these crowns allow the one that has one to “become more”. And the inspiration is because even a simple pawn can be a Queen.
Kinda like Kairi, used as a pawn, and she is gaining her own agency later in the story after she went to hell and back.
I think it’s a pretty fun analogy.
So perhaps, for someone to be promoted, they need one of those 7 crowns.
