Father-in-law tried to help with wiring issue. He disconnected timer without taking picture of wiring setup. I found your channel and returned it to proper working condition. Thanks much!
I'm an apprentice with local 73 and I appreciate your time to make this video and communicate so well in it. I've not hooked a timer up before and you took the mystery right out of it.
So my wires come in from the power to terminal 1 and 3. The pool pump wires attach to 2 and 4 running 220 volts. I had the power off and removed the wires to replace the pump. While pulling the wires out I saw a spark and then checked the current with a tester and it showed no current. Now the timer doesn’t work even though I have not yet reattached the pool pump wires. I flipped the breakers on and off several times and timer still doesn’t work.
Hi..great video and very helpful. Can you post a picture of your entire set up? I am interested in seeing how you have connected the pool pump to the timer. Thanks!
I know it’s an older video but had a question? I’ve just installed a single pole 20 amp breaker running it out to my above ground pool with a 12/2 wire Hot neutral and ground. So my question is can I put a male and female plug on my Intermatic T101 timer and just plug into 20 amp outlet and then to the pump?
It's only an excellent video if you already know about electrical workings, to anyone who knows nothing about it this would be more confusing than helpful. Granted it was not long enough to cover everything but that's where it falls short
You can manually override to off. But can you manually override to run continuously without changing your scheduled tabs. Say one day you need it to run 24hrs but don’t want to change your scheduling. Also You said that it has 2 on’s and 2 offs. Where are the 2nd set?
great video , thank you :D , you saved my night hahahaha , God Bless !!
Chalo Gonzalo Ya tu sabes thank you for watching !!!

Very good explanation
Everything well explained. Excellent video. Thanks.
Are you still available to answer questions on this older post?
I will do my best!!!

Thank you for your response to my question. So, I can’t install the timer with 120v on the water heater with 240v? Thank you very much for help.
Neutral from device being powered on goes to neutral bar in panel or does it hit the A screw then back to panel?
Very good with explanation only thing that bothered me is that it's not a 12-3 wire it's a 12-2 as you don't count the ground.
Victor Franco thank you for watching. I did not realize I had said 12-3. Thank you for the correction
John P absolutely, I do appreciate how you know your stuff though.
Great video man my township only allows a single outlet on that line.. If u r getting it inspected
very well explain, thank you for posting this video.
So the two receptacles in the water proof box were both set up on timers?

James M yep that would be fine. Just as long as the plus and their leads are rated for 20 amp
Only a override for off?

Thank you for the video. This timer can use with the water heater with the same connection? Thank you!
As long as the water heater is 120v
will this timer work with the t10004r? my timer doesn't work any longer, but don't want to buy the whole thing, just the timer mechanism.
afattori316 I am sorry but that I do not know
How’s it been working? Good video by the way
Working great. Thanks for watching
You can manually override to off.

Also
You said that it has 2 on’s and 2 offs. Where are the 2nd set?
You can not force it to stay on for 24hrs without removing the tabs. It comes with 2 sets of tabs. For my needs I only used 1 set
A timer is basically like a single pole switch send power and a “switch leg”
How do you change the time?
Pull up on the dial and turn
