Great “How to” video on this! I was confident I could install one but now I know I cab
Thanks for watching!!!
Why is it not in miles ?
In Canada, we use the metric system
Excellent video. Thank you
Thank you for watching
Can you help to fix the door engine in my Bosch microwave?
Thank you so much for this video! Very helpful ❤🇨🇦
Thank you for watching!!!
Will it survive a 500 foot drop from my helicopter though? 🤔
Sealed bearing can not get grease in them you take the seal off the top one on the bottom side and bottom bearing take top seal off bearing
This is the same setup I had put in on my house works like a charm
Thank you for pointing the door issue. Before you start dismantling anything try cleaning back of the door and hooks going into the two openings with soap to remove grease built up. It worked for me 😊. No more intermittent stoping.
I'm trying to figure out how to use the phone Bluetooth buttons
Hows the moog endlinks holding up for you still bud? I just got mine in for my 9th gen Si today. Cant wait to get them replaced, hopefully thatll stop my clunking noise. Also , what struts did you end up getting? I cant find the oem honda struts for a good price to save my life
End links are holding up great. I grease them twice a year. I went with the OEM struts
@@DIYManiacJohnP where did you find the struts at

great vid! have samsung similar to yours. already replaced board couple yrs ago but now wife says closing door starts everything up, tray/lights/heat. will one of those switches cause that or do i need to look someplace else or replace circuit board again
Thank you for the positive comment when you say closing the door and everything starts up. Do you mean the microwave turns on and starts heating? Were you mean just a turntable turning and the light comes on?
@@DIYManiacJohnP since it has just started to occur and my wife is the only one to see this, i cannot say for sure that heating happens. only table turns and light is on for sure
thinking it is the door on switch. have a samsung smh9187st , and if the primary is on top then it should be one of the lower switches?
Most likely it’s not heating just turntable turning and light on would most likely be one of the switches
Gracias!! No hubiera podido cambiar el bombillo sin el tutorial que publicaste.
Great job in making this video! Your detail is even appreciated by a long time mechanic.
Thank you for the kind words and for watching the video
I wish the washer was mentioned up front in the needed supplies. That is a clear miss if you later say you need one.
That was great. How do you find the correct switch? Is it comparing vint volts, amps, etc to ensure they are the correct switches?
As I mentioned in the video, you’re going to want to check for its normal state, either normally open or normally closed
So, what about registering the battery? Don’t you have to program the system to recognize the new battery?
Not with this vehicle
Good video fellow Canuck, I've got the same car, same colour too. I've been hearing that noise you mentioned on bumps so gonna check these out when I'm putting my winter wheels on later this fall. I've also got some creaking when turning at low speed so took into as well. I've also got a similar lawn tractor! I've replaced almost every part on it except the engine itself haha, inlcuding the transaxle.
Thanks for watching!!!
Very easy to understand, appreciate the help!
Thank you for the kind words and for watching
This is on sale at costco. How has this generator been for you over the last year or so?
100 hours on it and running great.
I change the oil every 5K miles. No matter what the odometer number is, change the oil at the multiple of 5, for example, 50K, 55K, 60K. This way will help me to know when will the next oil change easily.
Hi, hope you are doing well. Do you still have them? Are they worth it? Thanks
Hey! I do!!! Love them a lot and use them all the time. They have held up great
Awesome, I hope they fit on my Major Fitness F16
Just completed. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching and happy to hear the video was useful
Hey John, great video!!! I’m doing my first oil change ever on my new 2024 Crosstrek. For the crush washer, do you buy these separate? If so, I’m assuming an auto parts place?
Thanks for watching!! I bought the crush washer at the dealer when I bought the filter.
@@DIYManiacJohnP Buying everything at the dealer is not really the way most people do things nowadays...suggest mentioning Amazon options which is more real life than driving to the dealership and putting up with the stuff you have to deal with there. And, like I said, actually mention up front you need a washer in the parts list vs. only mentioning it later in the video. :(
@@jcgmba98 problem with Amazon is you don’t know if you are getting the real thing or a cheap counterfeit. Go to the dealer and buy a few at a time.
Excellent video! Verified my issue, thanks!
Thanks for watching
Well lit, superbly narrated and explained. Gave me a great understanding, very helpful!!!
Thank you for the kind words and for watching
Great video. I see that you used a Wago-type connector to bridge together the 10AWG black and red wires inside the Reliance switch before wiring the L5-30 inlet. I didn't hear you mention that in your narration (maybe I missed it). Should be made clear as obviously the switch natively expects 240V. Thanks.
That is how it comes wired from Reliance. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for making this video !!! Can you please share the Torque specifications sheet with me ?
Thank you for watching please send me an email to my email address found in my channel profile or in the video description
Thank you for this!! 🤙

I just want to say thank you so much for making such an amazing tutorial. Honestly, you have no idea how much you put me at ease when doing an oil change on my Santa Fe. To get my oil changed done by Costco 80 bucks but now they are stopping oil changes altogether
So happy to hear my video helped you and appreciate the kind words and for watching
Thankful for brothas like you helping out. Thanks my guy
Thanks for watching
Thank you John P. I can now change my blade thanks to you.
Thank you for the kind words and for watching
I replaced my switches and it comes on now and the turn plate spins but now it doesn't heat?
I would double check your replacement switches and make sure you match the right normal state position
@@DIYManiacJohnP what exactly do I have to do for that?
As I said in my video, some of the switches are normally in a close state while others are normally in an open state you will have to check as I showed in my video continuity. But again, as I showed him my video you first need to identify the placement of the old switches. Now that you’ve already removed them that will be harder to do.
@@DIYManiacJohnP got it. Thank you so much for explaining that
It was fun camping there you should go to cedar shade campground it's were nice and big we have a barn
i had parts not fit for my 2013 coupe si from rock auto.
Hello 80w140??
Shes a bute!
Just coming back to say thank you, this was the first tutorial I watched to start doing maintenance myself. Pretty soon I’ll be attempting to rebuild/repair my transmission, and I’ve already replaced most of my suspension. You never know the impact of one video! Again thank you and God bless you sir 🙏
Thank you for such a kind words and for watching my video
if I do it myself, how I prove to an insurance company it was done properly? Can I have an electrician to certify my work post-factum?
This will depend on many factors and regulations based on where you live.
Great job. Thank you.
Thank you for watching
The Tran case is comparable with square D
Great video, I just paid a tech to replace the whole motor pump unit. Now that I have watched your video, I will just replace the seals myself when the new unit goes out again in a few years. I just subscribed!!!!!
Glad the video helped and thank you for watching!!
great vidio ,but why take the deck of ? as you can get that pully off ,just drop the belt off and change over .IF the pully is not rusted on ..
For the majority of people, it’ll be easier to have the deck removed from the mower to change out the pulley, but if you’re able to do it with it in place then by all means, there’s no reason not to
thanks , very good explanation

Question I replace the control panel on my microwave. When I put the new one and close the door the light stays on and all the keys f work but it doesn turn and the fan doesnt come on. I put the old one back in and does the same thing. I Hold the control panel in my hand everything works. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
Thank you replacing mine now very informative

Very helpful video. Thanks

Thanks John. Nice detailed video for a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek oil change. I am saving this for future use.

OK...I fixed this problem in my GE Profile Microwave oven this way. There are three microswitches, one above the other. The two upper microswitches are wired to normally open and normally closed. The bottom one, which has that extra cam is not the one which usually fails. When the door is closed, they switch over. The problem is that if the door is not totally square to the front of the oven, or it twists, the switches have a chance to not activate consecutively and form a dead short which blows the breaker. I got sick of this problem and got a DPDT limit switch, cut a hole in the upper part of the grid over the removable plastic box for the wiring and mounted the switch in a way, that when the door is closed, the switch is activated. ONE SWITCH ACTIVATION CONTACT POINT, not TWO to throw the switch. That way the twist in the door is irrelevant. I then got male spade connectors and put them in the connectors for the NO and NC switch connectors and wired the outputs to the new switch NO and NC connections (4 points, total) with short lengths of wire. This switch breaks before make and that function is the secret to why it will reliably work. It works great. I used a limit switch from an old molding machine. A Square D switch or other type of 2p2t snap action switch could be used and bracketed into the front of the microwave neatly. The switches have to be rated at least 10 amps at 120VAC. If you do this, don't do it sloppy. Your wife will get pissed at you. This is an inherent design flaw in this microwave. The way I fixes retains the safety interlocks and eliminates the problem of door and hinge twist. You GE folks should take notes. Doing it cheap is not necessarily doing it OK....and yes, I am going to be smug about it.
