I'd rather lose by a clear 10 seconds than this
Yeah it'll bug me forever and I'd be thinking it wasn't fair cause a lot of them I'm sure they didn't get it before the buzzer but were still given it
@@trellgold6998if they literally have a group of people to check the technicalities/close calls then why wouldn’t you trust them when they aren’t revealed to have a bias?
For those asking, the split second chaser starts speaking before the klaxon, as long as answer is correct, its allowed even if timer hits zero.
This guy definitely works for itv hahahaha
I mean even during the cash builder rounds, this is allowed for contestants, so i don't see how its unfair
You can tell the first guy thought it was rigged, didn’t look surprised when he lost
He deserved that 7k just by doing it by himself
Surely there are independent unpires
It may have been revised or edited behind the scenes, but there's no reason the host should have spent so much time discussing why the "sauce/chili" question was accepted. That definitely took a couple more seconds.
Shaun said 4 upon hearing the words "how many strings"
How the f*ck could that be guessed right."
First one absolutely rigged and you think they would give It to him for making it on his own.
The Chase bugs the hell out of me in these cases, life changing money on the line for contestants and the chasers get so desperate to take it away from them
@@RaxusPrime29 Game shows aren't charities.
37:02 That "Switzerland!" answer became iconic in our house 😂
For the first clip, Martin played tremendously and Shaun was just fabulous with 0:04 seconds to go.
It seemed like it was on 4 seconds for a long time while Bradley was asking the next question
He deserves that 7k for just doing it all by himself!
his response to that was absolute baller "ecstatic" LMAOO
He just yelled out “4” I didn’t even hear the question lmao
@@Duval-In-The-Wall"How many strings are on a standard vio-"
7:57 - He thought it was wrong and just guessed, his reaction is so funny
Final chases like these is what makes this show so thrilling!!
Which is your favourite out of all of these?
@@qasimhussain1678 tough one. I think Paul’s from Series 13 is my favourite.
@@gameshowclips
Mine is the first one.
Too bad they are not always fair
@@blue_red_screen I agree
The first one was also in Solo players losing despite setting a 20+ steps
People accuse the chasers of getting easy questions, there were a lot of tricky questions in Paul's first chase so props where it's due.
Exactly, and the contestants pick which set of questions they get! The answers you get out of the chasers are always phenomenal at parts
13:20 HOLY SHIT RIGHT ON THE BUZZER
Honestly that one they should’ve won on
I think he said it very slightly before 0 seconds
He said it 0.1 seconds before 0 seconds
He said pen before going to 0 and the rule is even at 1 second it was still in on time
I get a sort of sick satisfaction from seeing people get so close to winning just for it to be snatched from them at the last second 😂
13:19 PENNSYLVANIA!!!!
Getting the Toyota answer right stunned him haha
I was gonna say he looked well shocked
You can tell Brad has become a better question reader. You wouldn't get such a long explanation of "i was looking for..." etc at 1:57 now. It'd just be "i'll accept [ move on]" now. Another example is how long it took him to say "correct" to the first answer in the first clip.
Shaun's answer of whale for the Free Willy question shouldn't have counted as it's about a killer whale (or Orca which is a member of the dolphin family)
All dolphins are cetaceans, and cetaceans are divided by baleen whales and toothed whales. Dolphins, and therefore orcas as well, fall under toothed whales. Saying "Dolphins aren't whales" is like saying "Cars aren't vehicles".
feel like im watching an episode of suits here whats crackin off@@Linnea-nb2jh
He shouldn't of been given the chilli question. First guy was definitely screwed out of 7k.
@@livingstone8347 But they are also chilis, so it was a perfectly valid answer
It’s unfair how the contestants have to press the buzzer and wait for their name to be called out before answering but the chaser can just jump in before Bradley’s finished reading out the questions
I don't think they have to wait for their names to be said, just that the person who buzzed in has to answer.
I guess that is to remove the issue of multiple people answering at the same time and you have a correct answer with wrong ones said at the same time.
Additionally, to balance the scale, the team have a head-start in the final *plus* the advantage of pushing the chaser back.
its also unfair how if the chaser gets one wrong the contestants have the chance to push one point back.
its also unfair how they get a head start of 1-4 points..
Its also unfair in the pushback questions they can consult with upto 4 people's knowledge to come up with the correct answer...
Its also unfair that they can draw upon upto four players minds worth of knowledge in the first place....
Life's not unfair as it is, but this takes the biscuit
@@bozeboze6604THANK YOU.
37:15 I CANT BELIEVE THAT THEY COUNT THAT
I wouldn't have. I would have ruled him late based on the buzzer soumding
If you go frame by frame, the difference between the right answer and the buzzer is about half a frame - which assuming RUclips runs at 25 fps is about 0.02 seconds.
Though it was damn close, the time up buzzer starts playing before the timer hits exact 0:00 (doesn't show from 0.01 sec to 0.99sec), which it shouldn't. He technically said the answer before that final stop
Now Shaun has 2 minutes to get 11... Crikey
Well they are difficult questions
Nah 11 with 2 pushbacks is a shocking effort, I got more than he did and would have gone faster
One of the questions was literally what's O.K. backwards 😭@@animefan7424
Season 8 Episode 18 is like if normal people played the game.
Re the 'final' final chase here as Brad said 25% of something is better than 100% of nothing. In other words the minus offer is there for a reason, i.e. a strategic one. So many people out there seem to frown upon this option.
Paul said that absolutely perfectly at 43:25
My bugbear about the Final Chase is that if the questions regarding a certain 'Radio Drama' comes up, its ALWAYS in the Chasers set. It's a free step because it's always The Arches. Stop asking questions about that.
31:18 That reaction says it all.
My favourite final Chase was the series 6 episode 104!! My favourite final Chase ever!!
There is one 0 Second win that we haven't seen. Mark caught 14 steps with 0 seconds
24:41
Wdym
The sad thing about all these is technically it starts counting down from 2.00 (it takes one second to reach 1.59). So the 2 second period between 0.01-0.00 should actually be 1 second since it was already counted at 2.00. The time is actually 2.01 the way they count it.
But by the same logic both teams have this, so is irrelevant really
ouch that was close all of those puchbacks would've done it

Shaun got a lot of gimmes in his round, like chilli's for example.
what planet is closest to the sun... martin just laughed at that one
The guy won the money on the first one Shaun said the answer as soon as the buzzer went
1:10 The London Underground question - so easy!
Unless you aren't from or don't live in London.
sauce for actual chilies is a soft one
He shouldn't of been given that chillis question. Joke.
9 0-Second Final Chases? Thought this only happened 3 times! The Beast just got lucky on those!
I think James and Janice would have hurt the most here out of all these final chases.

I’m not gonna lie to you with even , even with 1 second remaining is bad enough let alone 0 seconds lol 😎😎✌️✌️
25:00 hahahaha
Really feel bad for the first one, the chilli/sauce question was a bit unfair, he should have won really.
15:10 Only 12?! And Shaun had 2 minutes to get 12?! In the first round, he got 21 in 2 minutes, now he gets 12?!?!?!?
He went from about 6 seconds per answer to barely 3 and a half seconds per answer in the late game. He clearly thought it was gonna be a walk in the park until it wasn't, and he had to crank it up a notch.
24:59 25:00 41:54 33:40
For those who thinks this is rigged. Do you have ANY idea how much it will eventually cost ITV to pay in fines and compensation? There'd be no more ITV left.
Yo! I only just realized that Series 9 Episode 4's 0 second catch.... is the same episode with the Kermit Roosevelt question!
I already knew that once I saw the contestants.
What’s the Kermit Roosevelt question and why is it relevant?
@@justintime7351 a question came up in the head to head about one of theodore roosevelt's sons (or something like that) and the options were fozzie, gonzo and kermit
it left bradley in hysterics 💀
24:59
Why are people complaining about a rigged show? If you take the trouble to Wiki it, there are independent officials checking if everything goes by the book, and there is an innate imbalance from the start. The team gets a headstart, multiple minds to work with and pushbacks, the chasers can call answers without full questions (at risk) and are allowed to answer the final step on the buzzer. What does bother me a bit is how joyful chasers can get if they win; you do essentially rob a contestant of the prize money in the split second... competitive or not that's a bad etiquette.
Free Willy is about a killer whale, which, despite the name, isnt a whale but a dolphin
The one from 25:45 has to be the worst chase and push back of all time.
I don't think any of these were unfair or rigged they force the answer out of their mouth as fast as they possibly can it's all fair
37:10 he was out of time
He wasn't. You have to start the answer before the final one second is up and Mark managed it in the last spit second or so.
He absolutely was. Rigged
I hope that team appealed the decision, I would be absolutely livid
2:00 wasting 3 seconds of the chasers time.
He prob has it on his screen what can also be accepted
Also Bradley: Corrrrrrecccct
47:34
All of a sudden high voice pitch
i hate when Brad extends the word "corrrrrrect" and takes longer pauses when there's almost no time left. It's like he's intentionally sabotaging the Chaser.
13:19
Chases like 14:23 make it look like the show is rigged.
"Ecstatic" did he think he won?
He was sarcastic
Wtf split second catch.
Ah-gain, so annoying
If u dnt buzz u might talk over each other
3 best chasers by far
37:14
First guy was robbed
1st guy got robbed bro free willy about an orca thats not a whale.
Orca is also called a killer whale.
@@GeorgeZ213 yeah if he said "killer whale" he would have been correct. He said "whale" which isn't correct, since orcas are part of the dolphin family. Killer whale not the greatest name all things considered.
@@sunbear2340Dolphins are cetaceans. Cetaceans are split into 2. The first are the baleen whales. The second is the toothed whales. By classification, all dolphins are whales (including orcas). What you're saying is essentially "huskies are dogs, not canines".
@@cathemeraltheenby6840 Ok after looking it up you are right I stand corrected. Although tbf if u were on a boat and yelled out holy shit check out this whale and everyone ran over and it was a bottlenose dolphin people would definitely give u some looks.
@@sunbear2340 oh absolutely. It'll be like being on safari in Africa and saying "cat" when you see a hyena. Technically? Yes. Will everyone think you're an idiot? Also yes.
Haven't the chasers got like ear pieces in 🤔
No the game is strictly monitored. It would be illegal and the show would be fined heavily and shut down
3:42
Mark, paul and shaun were out of time for at least one chase
Funny how fast he speaks for chasers but not contestants....
Scam
Mark said that when a contestant started giving responses quickly Bradley started to ask questions quickly
I genuinely don’t think the contestants could keep up with how fast he speaks for the chasers, there will be a lot of “repeat the question”
if the timer hits 0, they should win. the rules are the rules, brexit means brexit
So if it weren’t allowed to go to that low and be counted then it’d still be 1 second remaining which is still bad enough
That’s not how time works. There’s still milliseconds below 0…
There's a second between 0 seconds and 1 second. The timer shows zero for that second. Not that complicated.
They cheat, is not fair, way the chaser is responding before it finished the question?
As soon as he heard “Langin” he said it, with so little time left you’re looking for any clue to blurt out an answer
WTF the stager tells the questions faster for chasers when the timer is near to zero!!!
👿TOTAL FRAUD 👿
All games shows are budgeted therefore they can and do control who wins
That's moronic. They're budgeted, and therefore they alter how much they make available to win by the available budget. If someone wins a lot early in the recording block, later offers will be decreased. Or do you think literal fraud is somehow more likely? What you're suggesting would bury any station caught doing it.
I Never like this Show
Then why Are you watching this video!!!
@@ITVgameshows I like Bradley
@@marcustibbs2803 I noticed he said the answer even before the question was asked obviously they can tell when they are close to time because i think he would have lost well intrully if he waited very lucky?
