“You kept asking me questions I didn’t know”
She’s honest w herself and just owns the fact she didn’t know, I love her
@@shawnurch8755A big reason to love Anne "The Governess" Hegerty.
and that never works well for the chasers.
Yep - that`s the most direct answer I`ve ever heard consistent with the true state of affairs. I guess you laughed - more than likely with everyone else with the quick wit of Ann.
That first one was just constant “Stop the Clock”
Anne's questions were brutal - one of the worst we've seen.
So was Jenny’s (the second one)
Just got a bad run. The 1st 3 questions were p1ss easy.
😮 30:06 😂
Deserved, they usually get the easier end of the stick
If you can't take a joke, you shouldn't join.
In the German version, there was a show where only a single guy managed to get into the finals. He then went on to only make six points in the final round. However, the chaser never managed to get above three points, being constantly pushed back by the single guy.
Do you know which episode and chaser that was? I'd be interested in looking it up, thank you :)
@rrbenjy8431 the chaser was the Librarian. I don't know the episode. I think I remember the contestant being bald.
There was one in Croatia who couldn't catch 5. I believe it has been deemed the worst final chase worldwide.
Let me get this straight, they only got 10 right to start with
Then they get 10 pushback opportunities and execute 8? That’s utter madness
The advantage of getting a few seconds to think and confer is massive.
the sinnermans worst defeat being a 17 is really good
He’s lost to a 14 on three occasions, but with higher accuracies.
That cluedo question was brutal
Yea. If u include the prefixes then professor plum is the right answer
@@EndietheEndermanSurname was the question.
No, it was easy.
I dont have proof but im 100% certain the chasers questions dynamically change in difficulty depending on how close they are to catching up
Alternative hypothesis: The people who write the questions are very good at writing two sets of questions of similar difficulty
@@RedEyeLordofFirei think the chasers get easier questions sometimes, the production company wouldn’t be making much profit if they were paying out thousands of pounds every afternoon
@@MrTibbs12 The show would still be profitable even if they paid out the money on every show.
@@RedEyeLordofFire it would make profit for sure but paying out 10,20,30 grand etc regularly would eat into their profits by a few million quid a year
@@MrTibbs12 If it's profitable it's profitable. You don't want to take risks by committing fraud when you're profitable.
12 push back with Anne! That must be a record.
0:19 that guy was ready to jump on any answer the other contestant gave 😂
I’ve been laughing for ages at this😭😭
"Who plays Bill Murray`s love interest in `Ground Hog Day ?` " I`ve seen that film ten times over and still don`t know the answer to that question.
Shaun got the centrifuge and killer whale questions wrong.
Shows like these make my general knowledge shine lol
Fairplay to Barrie, doing literally the opposite of gloating after he won
We do a lot better with the British pub quiz, and like you I have never seen the carrying explosive sign in my life. Great work as always Dale. Cheers
“Which mythical serpent” - Answer is Python. Last I checked, they weren’t mythical. I get it’s from a mythical story but that’s an unfairly worded question
"Python" is the name of a specific serpent in greek mythology tho
@@PatrickLiu-cu3is It's a legitimate snake.
Dark Destroyer really surprised me - he is one oof the cleverest chaser omdddd
He's not the cleverest chaser. The cleverest is either Mark, Anne or Paul.
@@IsaacKing2006 No, 1. Shaun, 2. Anne, 3. Paul, 4. Darragh, 5. Mark, 6. Jen
@@DarwinVFX_ Anne, Mark and Shaun did IQ tests and the scores were 137, 151 and 96 respectively.
Mark is the cleverest
Shaun is by far the worst. IMO it’s 1. Jen 2. Darragh 3. Mark 4. Paul 5. Anne 6. Shaun
The chase questions are just so hard . I dont understand how anyone can win
For how difficult it is, you really don’t get a lot of money. The US Chase goes into 6 figures!
@@cowmousedog that's what I believe. I truly think it should be 3 grand or so per correct answer in the cash builder. I can only do the multiple choice bit good. When I play along at home I only get like 4 or 5 in the final chase
Theyre only hard if you dont know the answer!
Mastermind is harder but yeah the questions on The Chase are generally on the higher level, some easy ones but some down right stinkers. Some of the multiple choice questions on The Chase are particularly hard.
@@cowmousedogstill more than any other show in the UK. I assume its relative to audience numbers
Jenny: "I'm going to go back at beat myself up" What makes me think the Governess was waiting at the door to the backstage area with her handbag saying "Jennifer , Jennifer, Jennifer...... " *BEND OVER* "
That’s exactly what happens 🤣
Chasers go OOOFF
Could you do some Australian ones as well?
Anne lost to an 11 the other day
Yeah I saw that the other day. Felt bad for Anne, what a shocking defeat!
@@gameshowclips What a humiliation for her. Bless her.
@@gameshowclips Yeah ik
And Noel was the only one from the team that actually deserved it. Alana though did ok. But it's sad that Heidi was the happiest about it because she did literally nothing to contribute to the team in any way.
Surprisingly two best chasers beast And Anne both lost to 11 Steps And both scored 10
No wayyy
Wow, does anyone know the Republic of Ireland and Ireland are not in the UK! 18:24
Shocking
The Republic of Ireland makes up the majority of the island of Ireland, though Northern Ireland located at the top of the island of Ireland is part of the U.K. but not part of Great Britain which is the island that England, Scotland and Wales are located on.
@@thesalandarian3314😂The fact that most British people don't know this is upsetting as an Irish man
@@danculbert6349 indeed lol
If the contestants can answer the questions, then the chaser can have no regrets
Dang didn't think I'd guess killer whale correctly I ain't even know I knew that
Do they get docked out of their appearance fee when they stuff up badly?
There's a celebrity version of The Chase where Shaun is beaten by a score of ELEVEN! 😳
Love seein the Chasers panic haha
Sean doesn't pass quickly enough
even the most inhuman beings can be human!
This was a painful watch
The ammount of ads here is horrendous
Use Ad Blocker
Doesn’t work now. Use safari on full screen, then you can just skip the ads
Hehehe, 4:52, that was supposed to be 2 minutes lol
Never seen a chaser do that bad before.
Would’ve liked this more without soooo many ads….
🤣 Sorry about that.
wright absolutley right lol
I wonder which Chaser suffers most upon defeat. I doubt they all suffer equally since not all are equal in temper. Having said so, it might be he or she that delights most in success. But who might that be ?
If you pass in the chase the clocks stops. All chasers and constants say it and they get it wrong
Love that the Muslim girl answered the Hugh Hefner question ❤
Pretty sure Shaun beat his record in tonight’s show. Lost to a 13
Yes, but this video is the worst accuracies, not the worst target losses. Shaun’s lowest target loss is 11
@@gameshowclips ahh I gotcha! Fair enough 😁
I ship Anne and Mark
😝
18:20
Tbf Anne should have got emirates
And only 1 caddie
Why no worst performance by Mark Labett in this set of clips?
Read the description.
Das Kapital - uhhh sounds like Russian to me
I thought it was Russian too! 🤣
tbh hearing it in an english accent it might'vejust as well been Russian. Seeing it written down makes it probably quite a bit easier to see it's German, though
The chasers have easier questions today
How tf do you not know what a Shiba Inu is AAAAAAAAA
I can't believe they thought Ireland was in the UK
Cally is so hot 🥵
