Why do some commenters put the time stamp right after the thing they're trying to timestamp so when I press the timestamp I get confused wondering where the hell the thing the commenter was talking about is.

I saw this comment before getting to that part of the video and thought it would be some kind of screech from hell, but it honestly sounds like they used a recording of a flock of cockatoos or something. when i played this game as a kid, i got that marine armor in ng+ and would talk to myself narrating throughout the game as if i was a space marine sent in to clear out the ishimura.
Totally did this too but at like age 26, hahaha. Even shelled out the money for those fuckin weapon skins that made my pulse rifle look more space marine-y. SHUT UP STOP RUINING MY IMMERSION
During the tutorial scene the elevator snapped off the creature's scythed arms. I didn't see one flew off behind me and as I was just recovering from the intense scripted scene...it landed right on my shoulder. I thought it was another monster that sneaked behind me so I was screaming like a little girl while blindly stomping around.
and make sure that you trample the dead bodies to mutilate at least one leg and one arm, that is my hobby. One proper dismembered corpse is one less necromorph to worry about :) .
@@INFILTR8US you could die in the tutorial corridor but you can't die in the elevator after you press the button There are places you can fire while you are unarmed but there are other options so game can kill you but after you press the button there is nothing left therefore you are safe

The thing at 16:38 is an immature wall guardian. It's the still underdeveloped form of the other screaming wall dudes you had fought before at that point in the game. Fun fact is that the reason they scream is that the parts of the conscious human brain and nervous system that transmit pain are still intact and unchanged. :) Also RE5 came out after dead space

Kendra probably found the video during her time in the computer core, but either willingly withheld it from Isaac or had to leave to steal the shuttle after she found it.
Think it's a proto-wall guardian or something. Wierdly enough they actually can do damage, but it's so little that it'll never be able to kill you. Their job at that point is to....well, hang around and be generally unsettling

This game held up through the years pretty well. I still replay it every other October. Which is really saying something because I have a large catalog of new games I could instead be playing.

Truly this is a Stereotypical Generic Plot Twist Villain that has Plot Armor until the game gives the okay to remove it and make her a big idiot and die. SUCK TO BE YOU! :¬)

That took the devs forEVER to program, and was one of those things that most companies would've dropped... but damnit, I'm glad they didn't, because it felt like Isaac was getting put through the ringer in this game, and that's fantastic~

9:55 I love how the remake does away with this jumpscare in such a way that you're expecting it to happen so even when they don't do it you're tense the whole time. I have no idea why this is on my recommended and why the hell you play a 12 years old relic but I'm very glad that I watch every seconds of it. Hope you make the 2 sequels. Dead Space 2 is a great sequel, following the claustrophobic theme. Dead Space 3 receives a lot of hate because EA doings its things but still the weapon in Dead Space 3 is really really fun
