  • Keeping students and staff safe is a priority for the Martin County School District, which is why hosting active intruder training with the local first responders is vital.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office, Martin County Fire and Rescue and Martin County School District worked collaboratively to conduct such a training at South Fork High School on June 29, 2023.
The purpose of the training is to ensure all components of an active intruder response work properly and to improve efficiency if such an instance occurs. The goal is to be prepared for anything and everything.
The Martin County School District is beyond thankful for the collaborative relationship and commitment to safety shared by our first responders. Together, we keep our schools safe for our students to learn and grow.
