We took this video to show you how to replace the tail light bulb, the rear turn signal light bulb, and the brake light bulb on a Honda Civic Ninth 9th Generation. It is identical procedure for both Left and Right Sides. It is not complicated procedure. All you will need is a flat head screwdriver or a knife and pliers to remove the clips so you can get to the light bulbs.
This will be the same procedure for sedan and coupe 9th generation:

thanks for making this so simple watched a video before your video boy did he make it hard not only did he yank the black plastic clips out by pulling the carpeting but he unscrewed all of the bolts and took the whole light assembly out.
Lucky me come across this video , it is the best one on this topic because other videos don't tell you which one is for what purpose and their exactly where about positions ,and u show the I.d. bulb number and wattage too, it would be perfect if u can show the front full view of all the bulbs first.. A very helpful video, sir. In my Civic, the tail light works just fine but it does not go brighter when I step on the brake. Is that a fuse problem or do I have to change the bulb still?

If you go in your owners manual and go to the index in back and find fuses page it’ll tell you where, which and diagram everything

Really. My 2012 Civic is different. It is set back in a small opening with barely enough room for my fingers. I pulled the wrong bulb and now I can't get it back in. Thanks for the info on removing the covering but I guess that the coupes have a different setup.
How to put the clip back on? 2 of the 3 snapped right back on, but the other one won’t fit back in no matter what. 😣
