Fun fact, Xander VS Harmony fight was actually meant to be the series finale. I still don't understand why they spent the most dramatic fight of the show in a random season 4 episode. And I have to agree, Riley looks a lot like Leon from resident evil
If you compare them side by side, you can see the direct influence that the Harmony/ Xander fight had on John Wick. Spike and Willow being supportive and comforting to each other is the most weirdly heartwarming thing in the history of ever.
Another entertaining reaction. In case you have not noticed, Episode 7’s are imported and vital to each Season. Don’t expect complete explanations in the world of Buffy. You will receive all answers but not on your schedule and never, never , exactly the way you want. Finally to understand stories and characters actions , view them through the prisms of the current situation. This year is about people finding their new identities and individual purpose when situations change.
Fun fact: Joss was more than half tempted to let Willow die in just the same way Spike looked like he might. He actually told Allyson Hannigan who then gave an impassioned speech as to why not to off her! 😂😂😱😜 He just thought it was so scary to have someone killed while no one could hear it happening. We see this come to fruition in Hush.🤫
The initiative seems like a black ops. They are legit "soldiers" I guess, but everything they do seems to be off the books. In the Buffyverse, the general population might not believe in demons and the paranormal. Sunnydale and we've heard Cleveland are exceptions and hotspots so many of the locals there know, it's probably rarer to encounter it far from there. I'm glad we see more of how the demon/magic and the human world intersect, the last time we saw something like that was with the feds recruiting the invisible girl in high school and the mayor.
he Initiative contains some brilliant comedy moments, from when Spike says could be 'cosmetic company' in answer to the lab rats reference. Then we also have the greatest fight in The Buffyverse, with Xander and Harmony bitch slapping and sissy kicking in slow motion, a homage to the Kung Fu series of the 1970s. We then have Spike in Willow's room, and the analogy to erectile dysfunction, Willow says 'doesn't this happen to every vampire', and then Willow saying it must be me, and Spike saying he would bite her in a heartbeat, all this achingly funny. We now know about Riley and Prof Walsh, and their activity with The Initiative in what is like some kind of Bond Film complex. Riley is almost as awkward as Angel when it comes to chatting up women, but we can see how much he likes her when laying out Parker. An important episode the S4 as a whole.

The bad news is that Oz is no longer in the opening credits... the good news is they've replaced him with Spike, enjoy xD
Yaaaassss
I love seeing your face every time Spike comes on screen ❤
I just love him
@@laurawebb8639 ikr??? :) I’ve had my share of actor crushes too. James Marsters, such a sweetheart.
Harmony: "Really?" George: "She is me" Well, somebody said it. 😆

Ah soo cool
Great episode and funny scene with Harmony and Xander. Spike and Willow scene is gold with the sex metaphor
Im sure you would like to perform some "experiments" on Blondie-Bear.
He can perform
What ever he wants on me
11:20 No, Spike belongs to Angel (or you) 😂
Hahaa true
I have had a major crush on Spike for years. I know just how you feel!
Thank god!
There's a fan club! Literally, there's subdivisions of fan clubs

I also thought they might find out about each other this episode. Looking forward to the next. Fun react, George.
