That Modern katana also is sporting a Hira zukuri geometry. I was not expecting that.
I know it's Dragon King but truely this thing is blowing me away, this might be the next wave of swords, pretty awesome....Its a thick Hira, not wide but got some meat on it...also crazy sharp edge...impressed at how tight and good it feels

Those are really cool swords there Joe. The APOC Wakazashi is that what ninjas use I know that sounds like a stupid question, but I know that the katana was used by the Samurai. Can't wait to see videos testing them for sure.

Great video joe, I've heard the apoc Gladius isn't very good. It is really thick of a blade so it's hard to keep good edge aliment.
Never had experience with it, but these look pretty sweet
How do the Apoc blades compare to the cold steel dragonfly blades?
Apples and Oranges dude, these Apocs are tactical end of days class of tools, the dragon fly are robust representations of katana, waki...better made but maybe not as tough
@@JoeSteel1 ok though I was referring mostly to how well each compared by blade thickness mostly
@garengatorlope1004 The cold steel swords in general are very robust blades, but are not tactical to the sence that they require maintenance and are not one solid unit...I think even though these Apocs are not as wide profile they are solid single pieces of steel with G10 slapped on it...simple approach but looks effective
