imo Enterprise was the best spin off . . . Voyager was too painfully in-your-face female over-empowerment focused. Not quite as bad as She-Hulk . . . but close.
My late wife and I loved 'Voyager'. We missed Jennifer Lien's 'Kes' when she was let go. My favorite episode featured The Doctor and Kes, called 'Lifesigns'. Very touching episode.
I felt sorry for Jennifer Lien having been let go from the show, didn't know then she was having some personal issues. I hope she is doing well right now.
Wow. I also did not know this yet. Her final episode felt very rushed indeed. Whatever these "personal issues" were (drugs/alcohol/complications with medicine?) i can't find anything about the exact reasons, except that they even wanted to go as far as writing her out without any explaination at all - simply just never mention her character again and *puff* that's been it. At least she did not go down like tihs.
She's had a pretty hard time. Been arrested a few times. Drugs and mental health problems. Brad Douriff is an absolutely amazing actor. He was incredible in Deadwood. 7 of 9 is still lovely.

As a photographer I hate these comparisons where they use much better make-up and lighting on the young photo, and then use no make-up and bad lighting for the older photo. You could reverse the techniques used and make the older person look much better than the younger person. ( just look at some of the young RUclipsrs with and without lighting and make-up, and you reach the same conclusion : that the person with make-up and professional lighting will always look better )
It does seem that the worst possible 2024 picture was selected in most cases, to make a more dramatic transformation video. Apparently, Roxann was too smart to have any bad pictures taken.

Jennifer Lien's story made me very sad. Lien has been arrested several times since 2012, including for domestic violence, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license.

I think face transplants will be a big thing in cosmetic surgery when the technique has been perfected. At the moment they're only done for necessity when someone has had a horrible accident but they can take decades off someone's appearance and look much more natural than facelifts and fillers. Celebrities already make themselves look like a completely different person with plastic surgery so it wouldn't be too much of a leap to just get a new face.

In my opinion, that the only one that aged well is Ethan Phillips and that may be do to is jovial personality! I have been hoping for so many years that they would recast the actors as they did with the original Star Trek series. As an example, Chris Pine playing William Shatner as Captain Kirk. As you know, it was very successful. As "Voyager" was my very favorite of the franchise; long gone are the days that these wonderful actors had to bring each back to the screen. Sad but true! So, the next best thing is have other actors(younger ) to recreate these rolls as they did in the mentioned way. It is the next best thing!! Please do it!!

I have a long standing crush on B'Elanna, and Roxann looks very fine at 65. Robert Beltran looks magnificent at 70, especially his hair. Tim Russ at 67 looks like he held anger inside for far too long as a Vulcan.

For me it's Deep Space Nine. They dealt with some heavier stuff and did it better. Their two part episode about the Bell Riots was very good.

So when I was a kid Nelix was my least favorite character. Now as an adult he’s my most favorite character.

In my opinion, that the only one that aged well is Ethan Phillips and that may be do to is jovial personality! I have been hoping for so many years that they would recast the actors as they did with the original Star Trek series. As an example, Chris Pine playing William Shatner as Captain Kirk. As you know, it was very successful. As "Voyager" was my very favorite of the franchise; long gone are the days that these wonderful actors had to bring each back to the screen. Sad but true! So, the next best thing is have other actors(younger ) to recreate these rolls as they did in the mentioned way. It is the next best thing!! Please do it!!
