Jacob is so considerate about making sure everyone had a turn, especially when he said “let’s let Bailey do this one” even though she wouldn’t be bothered if she didn’t get a turn, it was very nice of him to make sure she had a turn. As an older sibling myself this would have melted my heart
The sound associations that Luke makes with the different shapes are proof that he is very smart. Words will come eventually and then (heh - heh), you may never get him to be quiet again. Even outside your family, I can see the great strides he is making at learning. Kudos to mom, dad, and all the kids for the consistent encouragement you all give Luke.
Chris and Jessica are absolute superheroes like when all the kids had their hands in the flour I was absolutely panicking but they were so relaxed. Like how? Y'all are so great!
Is it me, or does Luke, resemble Jacob the most! Also the progression he has made is honestly remarkable and credit to the amazing support of the whole Ballinger Family! Happy Vlogmas
I really like how lately Luke has been making lots of different noises and doing different expressions cause i can really tell that he has become very cooperative and likes to engage a lot with most of the activities you guys do! he is improving very much in his learning and I love that for him! And i wanted to say, Chris and Jessica, your parenting skills are amazing! the way you guys encourage the kids to do and try many different things but at the same time let them so what they love to do is mind-blowing, and the fact that you show the same amount of love and attention towards all the kids is amazing. And as i said, Luke is improving day by day and i really can tell how everyday he is trying very hard to communicate with the camera/us and most importantly with you guys!
When I was younger I lived in a tropical environment, and I remember one year my family and I attempted to make salt dough ornaments. It was so hot and humid and we didn't have an oven, so we attempted to let them air dry. That didn't work haha. Every morning my brothers and I would see how many had melted off of the tree. It was so funny and a great Christmas memory to look back on a laugh at!
Love the salt dough ornaments! Just be sure Rue doesn’t get ahold of them-if she chews them up the amount of salt can disrupt her body’s sodium levels! Have fun and enjoy!
luke is such an amazing artist!! so careful and i love that he’s already got pictures in his mind that he wants to translate on to paper!! just amazing!!! sweet boy 💗💗
Jessica, I remember you asking for recipes to make with plantains and I have a couple. I'm from the Caribbean and my mom would always get plantains and slice them about half an inch thick diagonally then roll it in cinnamon and sugar and bake for 10-15 minutes or if we had green/unripe plantains we would cut it in diagonally about 1-inch thick and fry for about 2 minutes then smush it a bit till about 1/2 an inch and fry until golden brown and season with salt. These are things I always make for my kids and they love it
I have been watching the Ballingers for quite a long time and I am so grateful for them. They have taught me so many lessons about life and having fun. I am forever grateful your family exists.
My grandma just passed away on Sunday and so I have been binging all of your Christmas videos because you all are just so happy and healthy and it in turn spreads to me that way.
Jake is such a cool, kindhearted kid. They all are, but I think he shines out to me because he’s the oldest boy so his heart and respectfulness really show for his age. Christopher and Jessica are incredible parents. Such respectful, honest, loving, patient, caring kids.
Luke is blossoming. It's so good to see that. He's trying to say words and making the appropriate sounds. Way to go Luke. All of his hard work is showing. Also, Teddy is so adorable. He's such a cute baby.
I do salt dough ornaments also. I sometimes switch out about 1/2 of one of the cups of flour with Cinnamon. They make the dough darker, but it makes the house smell like cinnamon while you bake it, and they continue to smell great on the tree!!!
Love your family vlogmas is always such a special thing to watch with your family u show how amazing friendships and family rlly mean and how you are centred around love and the way you bring up your children is amazing
I love how much Luke has grown over this last year! He’s really improved and is only going to get better! (Btw I started watching around the beginning of the year) ILY❤️
Once again you’ve all brought me great joy., just watching you all making ornaments for the tree brought back floods of wonderful memories. This may be too late for you this year but, I used to figure my theme before making my decorations and then I also scented them. I’ve made them before using cinnamon nutmeg, different mints & butterscotch. I just used the scented oils, flavorings or powdered . You can do this since you won’t be eating them. My heart melted seeing so much more growth & development in Luke. He was made for this event or visa versa! What a charmer. Then there’s Parker getting creative with his unicorn. Love it! Love you all. Teddy hanging in there to bravely give his autograph. What a trooper. I i Duncan! ❤️🙏🎄🥰
Jessica- your laugh is so infectious. I love it lol. Christopher- your outro always makes me giggle. Love your whole family. Happy holidays from the LBC!🎄
Love how you let you kids be creative in their own way. You don't suggest things to them but instead ask. So helpful for their little minds. Love how Luke's tree was painted pink! I loved doing this when I was full time teaching and sometimes some of the other teachers in my hall would think it was weird because things didn't look "aesthetic" or "traditional. Th only time I "forced" a color on them is when we were working with certain colors for learning and during that time I didn't give them options of paint but let them instead be creative with how they painted (fingers, brush, sponge)
I absolutely LOVE that Christopher and Jessica always let their children do things by themselves no matter if it seems like they might need help or not, they let them learn to do things by themselves. The kids are so smart, loving and cute!!! You guys are amazing parents!!!
Ok, Luke just went straight in there after water was added. That was pretty cute!!!!!!!!! Luke is having sooooooooo much fun mixing that dough. He'd be good baking stuff with mommy and daddy. Teddy's footprints would have been cute too.
We all know the best thing to do when painting is to make little noises while you dip and dab 😄 But it’s super cute seeing luke do it! It’s fun to watch his development!! He’s so smart and aware and he doesn’t seem to really be upset by things that hold him back. It’s inspiring!! 💖
Watching those two hands with watches on the wrists mix up the salt dough gave this grandma's heart a bit of a pause. Then I remembered - NOT MINE - so I calmed down... LOL - lovely activity!
I love how Jacob always tries to challenge himself to make something intricate! Exactly what I was like as a kid, and I have a lot of really random interesting skills as an adult because of it. With his foam costume building and 3d modeling, Jacob is on his way to growing up into a learned and interesting adult. I like to think that life can never be boring if your mind is an interesting place. Chris and Jessica are wonderful for allowing the kids to explore their interests.
I loved this vlog and the salt dough brought back memories of when I was little 😁 although I did miss seeing what you all got in your advent calendars 💕
Because of you guys I made handprint ornaments for my sons first Christmas!! They came out so cute and I’m so grateful!! Thank you guys for sharing I will cherish these forever
Luke’s voice is so cute! I love hearing him talk more. Also love love love let’s talk about what we learned today! My favorite! Love that it’s making a comeback ❤️ I wish it would be on all your videos all the time
Chris and Jessica, you guys are some of the best parents!! Your kids are all so loving, kind, and considerate, and I’m so proud of how Luke is progressing!! It’s amazing watching him blossom and grow into his little personality even more now! Duncan being so into science is so cool! Have you guys ever showed him Bill Nye the Science Guy? I feel like he would LOVE it! Lots of love from Florida ❤️❤️
questions ~ 1) what are the baking instructions? 2) would they attract bugs, like can i still store them in the attic without any worries? great fun tradition making memories to build with your kids! ❤️
The kiwi co thing is cool! We had something similar to that when I was growing up but it was metal and had angels that went in a circle because of the candles
I would have never expected family content to entertain me as much as this channel has. Seeing the positivity and happiness in this family is like a breathe of fresh air as I go through a difficult time in life. 💗
make sure the salt dough ornaments are high on the tree they can make doggos very very sick from the salt content and bc its 'dough' it smells good to them but you Def don't want Rue getting into them
I look at how stinking cute Teddy is, and all I see is how much trouble we're all going to be in in a few months' time when his features really start coming in 🥺😍😍 That is one heckin' adorable baby!! 💕
Me too! I do wonder if his is a count down box and when we get to day 24 (which would be the start day on a count down box) I would crack up if it had a full page of instructions in there! I mean, I don't actually think that will be the case with this crazy mystery box but it would be funny. Glad he is so creative to be able to do a daily trick regardless of what he gets. Oh well, maybe double advent tomorrow...
aha, that dough is called troll dough in sweden and it was really popular to use like play-doh before that product came here. Fun to see it used around the world!
Love this all the videos are amazing seeing the beautiful family you are amazing parents the things you do with you kids are cute and so much fun to watch. Your dog I love it too I love dogs.😍💕

Jacob has such a great heart ! But, all these Ballinger children do. Great job, mom and dad!
Rpwe are you doing
Here to say exactly the same! Such great kids!

Even outside your family, I can see the great strides he is making at learning. Kudos to mom, dad, and all the kids for the consistent encouragement you all give Luke.
Imagine how much better the world would be if everyone was raised by parents like Christopher and Jessica
I think about that almost every vlog! ❤️
Every time I watch them I keep thinking "they're just like my family, but with healthy relationships" (cause we were also six kids).
It would probably be a paradise
During the holidays I always what them because I never had a Christmas like this, parents like this.
Oh my gosh at 7:36 Parker is sitting on his dough 😂 very effective flattening method, 10/10
😂😂😂 I would have missed that if you hadn't pointed it out so thank you for absolutely making my day
😂😂😂😭😭🤣🤣
I love how Luke says “Good morning everyone” right along with everyone else at the beginning of the vlog
The “dip dip” maneuver is also quite effective with honey mustard and chicken nugs! Happy Holidays Ballinger, thanks for sharing!
Chris and Jessica are absolute superheroes like when all the kids had their hands in the flour I was absolutely panicking but they were so relaxed. Like how? Y'all are so great!
Messes can be cleaned up. Memories are more important 🥰

I think Teddy looks JUST like Jacob!! Luke just looks like a Ballinger to me haha, he's a good mix of all of them!
@@missd34nn4 I agree 🥰

I’ve also noticed that he seems to favor his left hand more now where before he had to be coaxed in PT to use it. Wonder if he’ll end up a leftie?
@@andreagaydou4959 yea i also noticed that to! I think he will become a leftie

Luke saying, “Dip dip!” makes my heart melt 🥰
Teddy’s handprint is adorable a real awwwwww moment. 💖
luke is such an amazing artist!! so careful and i love that he’s already got pictures in his mind that he wants to translate on to paper!! just amazing!!! sweet boy 💗💗
All of your kids are wonderful human beings! I love watching Luke, his personality is the best!
I love how Duncan is constantly wearing the red Christmas onesie. He loves it!
I absolutely LOVE the idea of using the protective paper as wrapping paper. What a wonderful idea!
as a mom of a child with needs....it warms my heart to see how far Luke has come and how good you are with him praising all.the time etc ❤

Loving Luke being his own biggest fan. #1 hype man 😂.
Luke’s speech is really coming along. Good job Luke

Always excited to see you post! Your family is a beautiful example of humanity growing & learning on this journey called life!
it’s so hysterical to me BUT LOVELY that all of you guys wear christmas attire like every day 😂❤️
it’s so incredible how apparent luke’s speech is improving in every single video you guys post!
So cool to watch/hear Luke’s speech develop, the whole family is so encouraging I’m sure that helps so much!
I love that your family is so "normal" and make everyone realize nothing in life is supposed to be perfect. Your family is so beautiful!
Lukes little " Yea! " melted my heart so cute
Luke painting was adorable. I melted when he brought his hand up to hold down the dinosaur while painting. And when he copied Chris's dipping noise. 🥰
At 17:07 I think Luke said (What are those)It’s soooo cute
Love your family vlogmas is always such a special thing to watch with your family u show how amazing friendships and family rlly mean and how you are centred around love and the way you bring up your children is amazing

when luke said “yeah” at 3:48 i was thoroughly impressed! he’s come a long way! so proud of the lil dude.
Best part of my day getting home from work to watch your vlogmas! Such a beautiful family💕
I learn positive parenting from your channel . I don’t have kids but I have nieces and nephews and it helps a lot with them.
every time Teddy smiles, my heart just swells out of my chest. 🥰
The way Luke is holding the pen is so good! Most chirldren only learn to hold pens like that at 3 or even 4 years old!
I love how much Luke has grown over this last year! He’s really improved and is only going to get better! (Btw I started watching around the beginning of the year) ILY❤️
I’m amazed on how Luke realized he could paint better using his right hand. He has done so well in his speech. Love all your kiddos.
Every time Parker and Duncan say science it makes me think of Bill Nye and I start singing his theme song
I hate science, but I like Bill Nye
I’m so emotionally invested in teddys development. He is THRIVING and it’s beautiful to watch.

Parker showing how he turned the train upside down to make a unicorn was so inventive and creative! Keep it up Parker!!❤️❤️
I just wanna say thank you for putting the temperature in Celsius 😂❤️. Hugs from Chile 🇨🇱.
@17:07 It sounds like Lukey says "WHAT ARE THOSE!?!?" 😂 I LOVE HIM!
Ahhhh I love all of Luke's talking!!! ❤❤❤
Dear Christopher, by the end of Vlogmas please make a compilation of Duncan saying "sCIENNNCE". Sincerely, a Subscriber.
I've been dipping paint brushes wrong this whole time, for now on I will do the "dip dip" process, thank you Luke for showing me the way
I love your vlogmas! Look forward to it every year. Lots of love from the UK 💗

Salt dough recipe:
4 cups of flour
1 cup salt
1 ½ cups of water
Bake at 250 degrees Fahrenheit
For 90mins to 2 hours
I love when the kids say “SCIENCE!” 💗🎉💗🎉
Luke’s fine motor skills are pretty impressive!! to hold the paint brush that well at 2!
questions ~
1) what are the baking instructions?
2) would they attract bugs, like can i still store them in the attic without any worries?
great fun tradition making memories to build with your kids! ❤️
Luke's "Yah!" sounds like the German "Ja"(yes). :)
I've never made a salt dough ornament before! Gonna make one for the cats this year. Gonna be a disaster probably lol but I'm excited
Oh my goodness, Luke’s little ‘dip dip’ 🥺

What ? No Advent calendars? I waited all day for Christopher's 'magic' trick,
