You have a point. Enforce recycling standards and it will be free. Right now recycle companies spend money trashing the junk people throw in their bins.

Our recycled materials is raw material that we pay the manufacturer to pick up. Makes no sense to me. Also, Newspapers make profit just from the advertising. Yet they still sell them. Any way to get that much more. For now anyway.
We aren’t a nation serious about recycling if congress doesn’t push for national standards. Recycled material is a source for building, manufacturing, and that is business. Every county has its own rules. Glass, no glass. Small mouth plastic bottles only, peanut butter jars are ok. Make up your minds so we can do our duty.
It's so comforting to know that the money I pay for recycling goes to a company that profits more from selling it.
