My experience differs slightly to you. I just couldn’t get on with the neo’s (all versions). For me The best fitting and performance in game situations are the ASICS ds light x-fly mij (love these) and the adlers. The morelia 2 are amazing but even with grip socks after 15 mins my feet slide in the boot. I’ve tried 28cm (my size) and 27.5cm, didn’t make a difference. I think that ASICS and Adler just gave me the experience of not thinking about what’s on my feet. Cutting was fine (I play wing and cam) in both no sliding or movement. Was waiting for this one. Currently have the non beta version in the sick new white and red colourway and they are so far the best boots I've ever tried. Great vid
@@kimpymannenI went half size down and that fit perfectly. I was lucky enough to try a size range, and my true size US 10 felt a little too roomy at the toe. With US 9.5 I felt I had a tad bit of room which I honestly prefer, and it felt more snug to my foot. So from my experience I recommend going half a size down.
you can already see them starting to separate and I appreciate your honesty about them not being great for AG since they lack the extra protection where the sole plate attaches to the upper. As a comparison, Nike phantom GX line with AG sole plate will last for multiple years on AG.
Bought these (the white ones). Was slightly stiff out the box but have broken in nicely after a game and training session. Best boots I have. Feel so light and nimble in there. Feel on the ball is excellent and my touch just seems to be better with these. The fit in the midfoot doesn't perfectly wrap my foot and it has a very high arch for my flat foot. I am interested in trying the non beta. I had to change the insole which makes it wearable for me. Works great on Ag (no dragging feet/friction). My main gripe is durability. Mizuno's website says these are suitable for AG. After 1 game and training session, some there is a slight sole separation on my outer right foot and some of the seams are coming loose at the end. I can even see it in your boots in the video (the seams). Will see how it goes and might return unfortunately.
Nice review, Noah. These are so cool but I wish they were priced better in North America. They’re not $100 better than an Adler Horenso for me, for example.

I'd imagine the Phantom GX2 is probably a decent option for a wider option, Asics typically are good in that regard also
@@jackallen6306 thanks for the feedback. I have tried the phantom gx2 and it wasn't anything for me but i haven't tried the asics yet.
@@timsev-xh4zq ah damn that's a shame, I've had a couple pairs of asics in the past which I've found well sized in the toebox but that's also in conjunction with me finding the phantom gx great in the same region. Hopefully Noah gives some elite suggestions
hopefully he does and thank you for the suggestion@@jackallen6306 💙💙💙
btw the reason why most boots don't fit me is because my right foot for some reason is wider becuase when i tryout boots and put the left shoe one I'm like this feels pretty nice. But as soon as i put on the right one its tight and my pinky toe gets crammed@@jackallen6306
can you do the non beta review as well
already on the way
So the neo 4 pro version is better for wider feet ?
I haven't tried the pro model mate so I can't say
quick question mate ive been wanting to get some mizunos but not sure what size i am in them, i am a 10 in nike and a 9.5 in adidas what would i be in mizunos? (asking about the japan model)
Probably 9.5 I reckon!
@@NoahCavanaugh thanks mate
@@NoahCavanaughupdate they came in and fit perfect thanks man 🙏🏽
How many wears do you do for these one month reviews?
Depends on the boots mate, usually a good 10+ hours or so
I wear size 8,5 (42,5) of puma future match. My foot is 27,5 cm. What size shouldl ı go for mizuno morelia neo IV pro?
Same size I reckon
which one do you believe would last more on ag these, the xfly pros/5 limited or the morelia ii? I'm mainly concerned about sole separation
All of them have great durability mate, can't really go wrong!
Why do they break faster on Ag
Probably because AG is more harsh on boot mate
What is the difference for beta and non beta??
Stay tuned for the non-beta review!
I have a question. I tried the new balance 442 v2 size 9us should I get these the same or go half a size down?
same size I reckon!
did you go half a size down or a full size?
True to size
How is the sizing. Do they fit true to size?
Yes
This or mizuno alpha? Which one do you prefer?😆
These
how are these compared to the alphas?
Fit and feel is different for sure, but it's built on the same last so the sizing and general shape is about the same
is this just beta 4 or made in japan?
both! Mizuno Morelia Neo 4 Beta Made In Japan
Does anyone know where in Ontario, Canada i can try on some mizunos? Desperate to try them out but haven't had any luck
🤔
Did you go a half size down or true to size?
True to size
@@NoahCavanaugh alright thank you! I ordered half size down that’s what I’ve seen and the sizing is almost perfect! My right big toe is a little tight but once the leather stretches I’m sure it will be fine. I typically have a little space in my normal size.
How’s the sizing compare to alpha?
similar - it's built on the same last
Size compared with diadora brasil b elite Tech italy?
What’s about compare to Morelia 2?
I wear a 9US in both, but the Morelia Neo 4 Beta fits a tad longer
@@NoahCavanaugh I saw you rated Morelia 2 the over all 9 scores, that’s you make me want have a pair too
Would you recommend getting the alphas or the neo 4s?
Whichever fits your foot mate!
Any blisters in the heel ?
Nope!
Where can I buy these ?
Online mate!
@@NoahCavanaugh yeah I know idk if they have in the US tho! I don’t live in Uk
Do you get true to size? Thanks!
Yep
Are they light?
Yep
Do they get dirty in this colour?
Yep, especially if you actually play in them 😎
why dont they make a ag version😩😩😩
Not sure mate, probably cause these are perfectly fine on AG 😎
These or DNA buddy?
DNA buddy!
Mizunos do have carbon fiber.
Only in the Alpha mate, and it's not actually carbon!
Chef warum immer eine 8 wenn der Schuh doch „amazing“ ist
No sense brother
Eine 8 ist eine sehr gute Punktzahl. Eine 10 gibt es nicht, denn den perfekten Fußballschuh gibt es nicht
@@NoahCavanaugh thanks my g
These or the alphas?
For my foot, probably these. The Alphas still fit but not as well
Same here. My feet are the exact same shape as yous with that extra bit of bone or muscle at the mid foot.
Starting to lose track of the labels for Mizuno, can anyone list them out based on what Mizuno consider most prestigious to least.
I currently have Mizuno Alpha A Made in Japan FG. As far as i know it is the ‘best’ in the Alpha range.
However, looking at Neos as i really like the look of them.
White Morelia Neo IV B Japan.
I assume it being a Beta there is also an Alpha? If so, i cannot find any? Or is the Beta the most ‘elite’ pair Mizuno have released in the neo 4?
Essentially im confused with the beta/alpha/elite labelling. Whilst Made in Japan is pretty self explanatory. I just cannot find Alpha Made in Japan Neo 4 in white.
i want these so bad but i’m unsure in what size to get, i got some TEKELA MAGIQUE FG V4+ recently cause i was looking for a cheaper option but they fit to tight around the toe box and hurt my big toe, i got them in a 11. But if the mizuno morelia Neo 4 beta fit wider should i get those ina 11 ? or if they fit tighter should i get a 11/5. Help would be awesome, thanks, love your vids!
If the tekela was too narrow for you mate, I'd probably stay away from these. They're a bit more on the thin side comparatively
all soccer shoes are way too narrow for normal feet, I have heard that mizunos are great for wide feet so I think you should give it a chance if you want to.
🤌🏻🤌🏻
😎
Did you go true to size?
Yep, per my review!
