And I usually wake up at 7:15 but now me and my mom run together in the morning so I wake up at 6:55 in the morning and last night I went to bed at 10:30 and when I woke up I was wide awake and on weekends I sleep in till 9:30 I’m one of those people who absolutely hate sleeping in past 10:00 I feel like the days so short and that’s why I love waking up early

Hi Kat! Waking up in the morning is a challenge for me because I always want to stay in bed. I’m the one that always ends up staying up late doing some thing. My husband is the opposite he’d rather go to bed a little earlier to wake up earlier. I’m working on it. Right now I’m waking up around 730 or 8 o’clock in the morning. That’s what working from home has done to me. LOL I really enjoyed this video. I like the editing style too. Great tips!
Hi Debbie! I completely relate to that! Getting out of bed is by far the hardest part, but I always remind myself that once I'm up, it only goes up from there!! (Def does not always work though😂) But it's all about finding the times that work best for you! Working from home has definitely made me wake up way later than I used to too haha!! I've been waking up like at 2:30 3 in the afternoon since I do work nights and very soon I'll be doing day shift and I'll be probably waking up at 5 to have an hour to me, and leaving at 6 so that I can get to work on time.
That is awesome! My friend is an RN and has been working nights since she started! She loves it!!! That sounds incredible to have the goal of waking up a 5 when you start working the day shift!

BTW I am trying to wake up at 6am but it usually is around 7 and I leave for my job at 8:15 so I still have plenty of time,just not as so much as I want. I also think that a checklist/chart would make it a lot easier because I am definitely the type to make a list for just about everything.
I thought I was the only one that does that. I set two different wake up times to wake up gradually. This really helps so much!

Another tip I learned :): to make sure you don't get stuck on your phone in bed, play motivating music or a podcast you like! That's something I like to do 😆

At about the time that Covid started, I gradually started setting my alarm earlier and earlier from about 9/10:30-7am. There are definitely some nights where I go to bed a lot later than I meant to, in which case I will set my alarm for 8 instead of 7. Unless I’m going to bed late on a weekend, I will not set my alarm for later than 8, because now even 8 feels a bit late for me. That is saying a lot, because I used to think it was pretty early.

interesting tips!! i like the water in the face idea- i use rose water as a toner and it lives on my endtable, will have to give this a try! i struggle getting out of bed in the morning and i usually waste an hour on my phone looking at social media, since the blue light wakes me up, but i want to get rid of socials in the morning. i have been trying to read instead but i think i need different books specifically for morning reads, since lately i'm too tired to focus on them now lmao. lately i've been getting up around 8.30-9 but my goal is 6 so i have plenty of time to workout, read, journal, etc. before i have to start my day :)

I use many of your tips for waking up earlier, and I forgot that I got the tips from you until now, so thank you! I wake up at 5 but have a hard time getting out of bed until 5:30. I use to wake up at 4:30 every morning and honestly I've never felt so refreshed than when I was waking up at 4:30. The only problem is my cats are on we when my alarm goes off and I feel bad getting out of bed and waking them, so that's why I like to stay in bed until 5:30, but I always have a 20 oz cup of water when I get up in the morning :)
ahhhh I LOVE to hear that my tips have become habits in your routine!!!!!! That is incredible!! And I agree! When I was waking up at 5:30am for work everyday I found I had more energy throughout the day than when I sleep in till 8/9! It's crazy how when you're in a routine like that it really does change your life (for the better)!! Awwww that is so sweet you're thinking of your cats!! That is totally something I would think too! And that is AMAZING to have 20oz in the morning!!!!
I'm in highschool so I still live with my parents and Im not aloud to turn down the thermostat 🥲 SOO I usually sleep In short/cropped clothes so I can feel cold ☺️
That's so funny when I still lived with my Mom and Step-Dad it was the opposite! They always had the heat way down so I had to pile on layers 😂
i sleep in on the weekends 7:45 on mondays 6:45 on wednesday’s and fridays and 6:00 on tuesday’s and thursdays

That sounds like such a great goal!! When I had to go to an office each morning (now I work from home for my full-time job), I was waking up at 5:30am every morning and honestly loved it!!!! Even though I wfh now I want to get back to that too :) And yesss I will work on the printables!!

Me cries in 11:30am, i used to be up at 5am for school and feel alive.
One other thing I do to wake up a bit more, or at the very least force myself to get out of bed, is I have my alarm on the other side of my bedroom from my bed, and I also turn my light on after stopping my alarm.
That doesn’t mean I am not still sleepy, but it forces me to get out of bed and increases my likelihood of not laying back down (unless I’m rlly tired).

I def need to drink more water but Ig sucks bc I don’t like water even if it’s with lemon 🍋 not a fan of it lol but I do try to drink at least a glass/water bottle a day at least and the humidifier I’ve tried too and idk I must of gotten the wrong one bc it be too hot and then I got one for cold idk my body is so sensitive lol but I do need to try some of these tips bc my sleeping habits stink
Haha I get that! Have you tried adding different fruits? Some of my other favorites to add to water are strawberries, cucumber, and lime (even watermelon sometimes)!! And for the humidifier, did the one you get have a cooler/heater? The one I have just puts moisture in the air so no temperature change! But I'm so glad these tips can help!!! ☺️

I usually wake up at 7 for school but I wanna wake up at 6:45 so I don’t have to rush to be at school by 7:45
That is an awesome goal! I know you can make that happen pretty quickly!! Honestly I suggest setting your alarm at 6:45 one morning, and forcing yourself to wake up then. Even if you're extra tired the first few days, you'll quickly get used to it and feel great waking up then!!

I like the tip with setting an alarm 90 min before you wake up, but I wake up at 5:30 and my family is not gonna appreciate my alarm going off at 4:00

Hey Ada!!!!! A few of my top tips for this are
1. Keep your alarm on the other side of the room so you have to get out of bed to turn it on
2. Turn on the light as soon as you get up
3. Drink a full glass of water (you'll be surprised how much this wakes you up!!)
4. Track what time you wake up!! (I may have a free printable for this coming with tomorrow's video 😏😏)
