- Oprah Winfrey shared her vision for a meaning life with the Stanford community as the Rathbun Visiting Fellow for 2015. At the end of her daylong campus visit, she delivered "Harry's Last Lecture on a Meaningful Life." The annual address honors the late Stanford Law School Professor Harry Rathbun.

This speech changed my life. When I first discovered it 7 years ago I listened to it every day. It's become a North Star for me.
I'm not a Stanford student but I sat on every word she said and enjoy the whole speech
One thing I've learned from her, she's so down to earth.
Really. She does like lecturing people, that doesn't make her down to earth. It makes her ego grow.
One of the most powerful captivating orators I have ever heard in my life. What a brilliant, moving, captivating speech. Oprah continues to stun with her grace.

Oprah has many haters... But this woman has truly changed my life. It takes A LOT for me to be impacted by another person, and I liked her show whenever it was on but I was never a super fan like so many people, but one day out of boredom I watched the first season of her Life Class with Iyalna Vanzant and oh my God... I learned so much about myself through that season of some stupid television show. I understand why Oprah is as successful and as loved as she is. It was like therapy for me, it was an out of body experience watching that first season!

I think Oprah is such an amazing woman, so clearly some people are haters. So many people can never think on their own. They always always in a state of groupthink. They never have independent thought processes outside of the culturally conditioned mind, or what is considered acceptable within their culture. If they had a chance to say anything interesting, they would just say something generic, whether it's scientific stuff you already know, or could find out, (which usually doesn't really help anyone much) or whether it's part of pop culture. they wouldn't say anything that would motivate or help people. Another words, people are afraid of anything different. I think it's a projection, they're secretly envious of her success. That's why we have a celebrity culture, so people can put people down to feel better and release their shame.
+A Boston That's why so many people understand Eckhart Tolle . People whose lives are governed by ego, defending against so much, don't like or appreciate someone else's success. They don't see that person's hard work that earned the money, respect or appreciation, they have to put them down, "hate" them, hold them in contempt. Or else they would have to look at their own lives. Oprah doesn't say anyone has to become a billionaire to have a worthwhile life, because that's an ego measure of life. A person just has to live their own truth, live their reason for being here.

1) Take control of your own health.
2) Learn about the power of your mind.
3) Follow in the tracks of successful people.

Oprah has learned how to use her resources to share some good to many! My Pastor, Bishop Dale C. Bronner says, when we leave this life, we leave our mantle (anointing). We don't take it with us!
