I saved my aging back a couple years ago when I bought the Sew Ready folding adjustable height fabric cutting table at Home Depot. It’s also on wheels & can be easily moved aside when leaves are down. Expensive but necessary!
It’s on my list for when I have a bit more space - it’s just a bit too wide for where I can fit it now but someday! A girl can continue to dream and work with what she has for now.
I love that you are a chaos crafter. Totally different from me. I am a perfectionist crafter. I would totally be the one to press all the seams to perfection. But who's to say one approach is best? It all depends on what you want for yourself. You keep doing you, this is what we love you for.
Chaos crafting is so real. Cutting out fabric is already incredibly tedious, we do not need to add ironing to that, too. Excited to see how your shawls turn out! The colors you picked are so soothing. Also those turkish spindles are gorgeous. Putting runes on it is lovely. Spinning with intentions! Keep those little peeks into your dnd sessions coming if you can! It's fun to see what you're getting up to without turning it into a live actual play.
I recorded that little bit just to share what I was knitting but the audio on it was so sweet that I had to leave it in. We’re a bit mushy and silly and it makes this game the most fun.
Oh hey another Cooking Mama fan!! My husband got me that game years ago and I played the hell out of it. Animal Crossing is also a well-loved favorite in our house. I’m only at the beginning of the video so I’m even more excited for what’s in store!
I did go to the local art store, they had one inkvent left the third week of December, but not discounted at all, so decision made. I will just be working through last year's inkvent for years.... linen is the best!!
Yay Jenkins flock! I think the wren is my sweet spot size in terms of weight and capacity. Just enough to get a good amount on without tempting me to keep winding on past the point where my hands/wrists would rather something lighter.
The ink colors are fabulous and so ✨sparkly✨ seeing them in your vlogs is making me think that I need to get a fountain pen and some pretty inks! I also enjoyed the DnD content!
It was a sneaky bit I wasn’t planning on including but the little bit of dialogue was so sweet that I couldn’t see myself muting it and putting music over top.
Hi Tazhi, enjoyed watching your foray into quilting, liked your color palate! Loved your fiber that you will be spinning and looking forward to seeing what the final make will be from your yarn. Girl you just on fiuh!👍your creative bug passion is a happy destination for me to watch while I knit b4 my day starts! I will be sewing in awhile on my wool tweed jacket. The creative juices flowing! Have a great day! Carrie from Northern Ca San Francisco Bay Area 🥰💕🐕🐑☕🧵🪡🧶
Congrats on the Jenkins! I am not fast enough to catch a destash. I love my Enid Ashcroft turks, but would really like to try one of his. Someday…. I love the quilt fabric color palette. It’s going to be an amazing jacket. Glad to hear you are getting some sleep. Sleep makes everything better in my world. Have fun with double shawl knitting. Shawls must be in the air. I haven’t knit one in years, but have one picked out for when I start knitting. Sending hugs, harpingJanet
I'm still watching your Vlogmas videos even though I don't always comment! I knit a Gro hat last year and in spite of having a TWA, it is small on me as well. So when I knit a second one I added stitches to have an extra stitch panel, I did the stockinette section an inch deep and I did a repeat of the larger cables so the trees (plants?) are taller. So now it's my cold winter hat and I wear my smaller one high on my head for a slouchy look on milder days
Loving today’s content!! You mentioned a combo spin of those beautiful colors. Just wondering if you could talk more about how you do a combo spin. I haven’t tried it yet, but curious how you’d go about it. Thank you! ❤
I know your pain with cutting fabric on a table that is too low. An hour is about as long as I can last too. I itching to start the traveler shawl. I might need to make more handspun. As a newish spinner, i don’t have a ton of handspun in my stash. I might spin up some fiber from my Hello Yarn Club.
I’m scrapping my way along and having a great time so maybe start with some of your smaller beginner skeins? Think about colors that play and marry and fade together when you’re picking your colors and just have fun.
I knit continental - I knit left to right but I hold my yarn in my right hand so it’s the equivalent of picking or continental stitching. I purl English most of the time, the throwing motion is just easier on my hands for purl stitches.
Okay I'm in love with the paper your spindle came in. Beautiful spindles. Cutting on the floor just leads to at least a week of pain.

I'm here for all the Tazhi content. All the hobby joy!
I love that start everything idea. Beautiful stuff. I’m sure you’ll finish most of it some day 😂
Pretty fabrics, and pretty yarns and fibers too! I’m A sucker for color!

I spy the stick season sweater! Lovely Jenkins. I love Turkish spindles, hopefully I catch one of theirs.

I thought of you when I saw the traveler shawl.
No lie, I was planning to get every one of the spindelicious fibers you ended up getting. They sold out so fast, though! Excited to see you spin them!
Thank you so much for this video… I realised today…that watching you makes me feel young (im 64🤷🏼♀️😂🤭) so thank you for that!
Hooray! I’m so happy to hear that.
happy season of starlight
Love waking up to an episode to do my morning spin to ❤ love to see the the DnD content 😊
I filmed it purely for the bit of me knitting and then I realized how good the dialogue was so I left it in instead of muting it.
Omgggg. I’m obsessed with the rune spindle. I might need a new spindle too. 😂 I haven’t bought any new ones this year.
This was great! I love the combo of spinning, knitting, sewing, and ink.
Thank you for your Vlogmas.
I am also a chaos crafter, I like to dive headfirst in. I think that's why my rigid heddle loom doesn't get much use, too much set up time.
Same! I’m really hoping to make some room and time to try band weaving at some point - smaller set up, maybe more weaving will get done?

I love the updates on your jacket! I am living vicariously through you as I am too afraid to sew with such expensive materials like wool but some day!
@@stitchesandstarlight I amm sending you some pics and rresponse on your email. 😘 Carrie
Overhead!👏🏻🧶🐑🐏☀✂💖

Happy shawl season! Let’s make all of the cozy mini blankets to wrap up in.
Tazhi, youve got me wanting to learn how to play tabletop D&D, How do I get started. I asked my son, but he's been busy. He is a DM (GM?) in Brooklyn

This is super useful information and I’m going to save it for my next one, I like this one enough that I will knit it again.

I’ll include that in my fiber Q&A that I’ll be recording this weekend!

Jealous of your barberpole-sequel handspun; they look beautiful. I need to ask what your knitting style is called/adjacent to? It looks so speedy!
