I have HSS beading gouges, but they dull so quickly and are a pain to sharpen. Next time I have some spare funds I think I'll invest in some of these. The fact that carbide lasts so much longer than HSS is great, but then you add negative rake to them, and they are elevated way above normal HSS beading tools.
