Heat Crash at max power is equal to Flare Blitz. I chose Flare Blitz for consistency since Ursaluna is rising in usage and could eat Heat Crash easily, and also Iron Hands tanks it. But swapping Outrage for Heat Crash is reasonable so you have both options.
It can't be more powerful on average if Heat Crash's max output is equal to Flare Blitz meaning that it can only get weaker with heavier targets like Iron Hands.
Entei is my favorite member of the Legendary Beasts, so you can imagine my joy with Gouging Fire. It's crazy seeing it rip apart things that should resist it's fire STAB under the sun with a Protosynthensis attack boost plus tera fire. The other team members did a great job in supporting this one-mon killing machine. While my favorite new favorite paradox is Iron Boulder, Gouging Fire is definitely a very close second.
This is an amazing team, I was looking into how to use Gouging Fire as I really like its design and wanted to focus a team with him as a newbie player, this definitely is on my top list of teams to try with him involved. :]
There are some really cool speed booster energy sets with Howl to boost up Gouging Fire's partner - it just got second at a regional so worth checking that out too!
I just saw your picture and it's Pokémon Minun, it made me so happy, he and Plusle are literally my favorite Pokémon and I started liking Pokémon just because of them, but they were forgotten😭

I was wondering if maybe, considering the use of Sun for this team, a chlorophyll H. Lilligant with After you could be a decent replacement that also provides speed control, some cleanup capabilities and even synergy with torkoal
I did actually train up a H-Lilligant for the team! It did ok but the team is certainly weaker to spread damage without wide guard and I got tired of missing sleep powder lol

Tried using Rain Tornadus on my Life orb Blastoise team during the global challenge. Had some good wins, but with a combination of bad matchups, bad decisions, and not being the best at team building, ended up with loss after loss after loss. Also the paradox boosted by it's respective field condition is something us Violet players wish we could do with Iron Hands, but our only options are Pincurchin and Prankster Thunderus...

I've used this team in this global challenge. It's a lot of fun. I changed electabuzz to tera flying for better lando-i and ss urshifu matchup. I think i shd also have used tera grass on torkoal to be a more reliable dozo check. I never used tera on koal amyway
Hi Foofootoo! I ended up using this team (slightly modified) for a local tournament hosted by an anime convention and got 3rd place! I didn’t have a lot of time to practice with the team because I was basically building the whole thing in one night, but overall I’m happy with the result. Just wanted to share. Incidentally, how would you go about beating Terrakkion + Whimsicott cores? I couldn’t really figure out how to beat it during the tournament.

For what it's worth, I think Heat Crash has a base power of 120 against most Pokemon in VGC. I think it's even more powerful than FB on average.

I think it's a 6 multiplier, since the tera is not 1.5 but 1.3 given you already have STAB, but that's still A LOT

I did actually try to use Iron Thorns and Pincurchin. It's definitely not as viable as sun for the past paradox mons
