1973 XS650 Brat Style Build Timelapse and Exhaust Sound

  • I recently built this 1973 xs650 (tx650) and filmed the re-assembly of it.
    The motor was completely rebuild with a shell #1 cam and the head was ported and polished. The exhaust is the mikesxs performance headers with cone engineering big mouth mufflers.

    Very nice ! Enjoy the challenge to kick a motorcycle into life!! So much more satisfying then just pushing a button to start up!!!

    Nice one ! I have a 73 TX650-700 Cafe-bike down here in NZ. Almost back on the road, hard to get parts down here , my mufflers have a 'crack' to them , good for car-alarms . Dave NZ

      yeah man, if you have any questions, hmu. The 73 engine has a hotter cam than the later years and the pistons/crank are slightly different too, so parts can be confusing. Check out 2 wheel workshop on youtube if you do decide to rebuild! He has some great videos on how to do it properly,
