Thrifting is not only budget friendly but also the perfect opportunity to add personality to your home, creating a curated look that is original. *Canva Website for Evergreen Tree I used in today's video:
Go to www.canva.com and search "evergreen tree". Then scroll through all of the images that pop up under that search until you find the image. Once you find the image you can use the Canva program to edit the print to your liking. I used the erase tool to remove the groundcover so the print would look more like the original designer print. I also adjusted the color with the saturation tool and brightness. After I got the print to look like I wanted, I saved it to my computer. I then went to Walgreens website and uploaded the image for 1 hour photo processing. I chose an 11" x 14" print size. You would need to choose the appropriate size for your picture frame.

Hey Lesa! Love the sweater projects! You could also use a thick jute and make a handle that goes from one side of the pocket to the other. Stuff the bottom with a couple plastic bags for fullness and fill with greenery. I also love the gold painted fruit! My gosh, the framed tree is so pretty! I need to have more of an open mind when I go into thrift stores!

I was like, "Oh no, don't cut up that beautiful sweater!" 😁 But then I loved both projects you did with it! That is interesting that even some of those high end companies use public domain artwork. You are lucky to have a goodwill. Ours here is just trash. I was there yesterday and won’t go back. No one in this part of the country have money. Just target and Walmart.

I can not find floral foam balls. Will styrofoam ones work?
Hi there! Great question! I think they will work if they are the rough textured styrofoam kind. The roughness helps to "grab" the knit and keep it in place. The smooth foam balls may slip around too much but I'm not completely sure about that since I've never tried them. If you give it a try let me know how it goes!
