I just got the game on ps4 because I’ve seen lots of really great looking matches. My first match I couldn’t land a single drop kick on Juice Robinson. So now here I am so I can get my revenge. Thanks for the help!
Just played my first match. It was 14 minutes long, there was no tutorial on how to play, hitting your opponent in any angle other than straight on is difficult, and I won with a sleeper hold I didn't know how I did. I love this game already. Add the fact I can have over 7,000 wrestlers and that number is always rising further and further and it gets much better. Some of the best cash I ever spent.
Mission mode have some tutorials. I had to find myself. And do you still play this game?

The reason Fire Pro has some similarities with Pro Wrestling on NES is because the guy that programmed Pro Wrestling on the NES is the same guy that created the Fire Pro series.
Same to the fire pro wrestling X Premium in snes
I just picked up Fire Pro Wrestling World. First I was afraid I can’t handle this timing since many ppl say it’s hard. Actually it’s not that hard. And your guide got me through this early stage. It’s by far the best out on youtube to get started with FPWW. Even 4 years later. Thanks!
My first match I took an L with Kenny Omega vs. Takahashi from an elbow to the back. I will now avenge that loss!
Thanks a bunch man for giving the rundown on timing the moves. I had preordered it on the PS Store and have mostly spent my time downloading CAW’s and working on completing the tutorial missions so I can go in knowing what lm doing. This game has a steep learning curve which will be rewarding in the end. I’m more familiar of FPW from back in the days of playing it on the GBA, which I wish I still had.
This must be the tenth time I’ve sent this video to new players asking for advice on the fb group. Huge thanks for making this video.

I haven't played a FPW game since having to have a modded Playstation and using a translation guide to play, I think FPW2.

Nice little tutorial. My 8yr old son desperately wants to start playing Fire Pro and while I know what I'm doing I found it hard to explain the timing required to master the grapples to him. So your vid has been a huge help to get him started. I'm looking forward to part 2. Thanks

I dont think you can counter front grapples manually, it all depends on how worn down you are if they try to go for a stonger move early, its more likely to be countered. I know you can counter back grapples with the attack button at the right time though

What are all the team moves not attack moves but moves like tag etc.? Press L3 and R2 and X and Circle and Pause all at the same time. I don't know what affect this has on the games but your hand will look like a claw, which is awesome. I don't know what is this but could you please explain in more details?
How to steal opponent finisher moves?
A key is an action key;
P key is a cage grapple key.
When you are near the cage, you need to press A and P AND a direction arrow (⬆️) at the same time to do the move you want.
This takes lots of practice to get the timing right, so you may have to keep doing it until it works.
So remember: 🅰️+🅿️+⬆️ BUT at the right time. Practice makes perfect.
Oh, and for different wrestlers, you need to use a different direction arrow depending what their settings are like. So you need to keep trying with ⬆️, ➡️, ⬇️ and ⬅️ until one of them works.
This took me several matches to figure out. I suggest you report back to us when you have mastered this. What is this?

Seems to me no one understood what makron meant. "Over breathe". The RUclipsr mention it in the beginning. If you breath to much in between moves it can also affect your wrestler. Don't know how but thats what RUclipsr said.

Is there any way to reverse or counter a move because some moves in the moves list say things like counter (BIG) how would you do that move?
Throw your opponent onto the ropes by using direction buttons and then when they come back use the big move button

Countering strikes is an automatic thing. It's not player driven.

I connected 2 controllers to my pc. Opened the game and selected 2 players and the match started. But, both controllers are not working. I can only play with keyboard. Pls help..
you need to connect the controllers to steam first before loading the game.
How do I even enable the player on the wrestler select screen in match options?
go to the left where it says cpu it will be lit then you press a and select player same way if your playing on the right side

When doing submission and rope break how to continue doing submission? Pause the game. You can now perform the submission indefinitely. What is this mean?

Try to look at the move animation during the Moveset menu; if the opponent STARTS at the top of the post, then that move will place the opponent on top of the corner post. I just got this game for Ps4...its great but frustrating at the same time. The grappling mechanic is crazy hard to learn with the timing....the computer is killing me.

Right before you select a fighter you should see a CP above a 1P. Just press down to select 1P before moving to character selection.

Apparently, you mash the medium attack button to break out of pins and waggle the stick or direction pad to get out of submissions.
I read that elsewhere, I've never played the game.

Great tutorial but I just learned the game has a tutorial called Mission mode. You start out by learning grapples but you can't advance until you master each section.

There's a cheat code you can do. It's simple and unlock all the mission mode for you. I still did a few though and it helped. Learned the game more or less in a few hours.

How do I kick out of a pin?
Just gotta hit the buttons and wiggle the pad really fast. It's all dependent on how much damage you've taken and how much stamina you have left.

How to do your finisher on this game this is my only problem.
Finishers are not done by any special motion. They're simply moves that are designated as such in a characters moveset. So you just have to pause the game, look in the character's moves and see what is designated as a finisher.

You can use your xbox one controller on your PC to play any game including this one.
how to finisher free play mode?
Finishers are totally dependent on what move they are mapped to. There is no specific "situation" on when and how to do them. They can be mapped o a strike, light grapple, medium grapple, heavy grapple, top rope move, etc...

Just know that if you attempt a finisher before the opponent has been beaten down enough, it will most likely be reversed. Also under the right conditions, depending which attributes you select in EDIT mode, your finisher can CRITICAL (Knock out) an opponent
It depends on what wrestler you're using but you can go to the move list menu and see the (F) sign for finishers, and (S) sign for signature moves and then make the sequence ;3
Don't think this is accurate. (S) IS your finisher, and (F) is favorite moves. If you look at the list most guys have 3-5 (F) and only one (S)

saddam saine look at their movelist. There isn’t a set finisher button, although often times it’s the square+X button (on PS4)
