Here are the calcs:
+2 252+ Atk Guts Tera Normal Ursaluna Facade (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 368-434 (92 - 108.5%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
Double Iron Bash but that's not in the game, also Stantler gets Psyshield Bash by egg move.
Imagine telling people back in the gen 5 days that basculin would get a powerful evolution.

My favorite Hisuian Pokemon is Hisuian Voltorb. He's just a happy little dude who likes to go BOOM!

I think that Basculegion's Last Respects can have 600 base power thanks to Adaptability.
And I'm not counting the Teratype and various item boosts. Just the STAB x2.
Imagine if wyrdeer learned body press? Having both its signature move along with body press is a great combo
Psyshield Bash + Body Press + Stored Power + Tera Blast or Charge Beam would be amazing.

Female basculegion has more special attack than physical, but due to the sheer power of adaptability last respects combo it doesn't really matter lol
If you look at the first battle when the greninja fainted the icon of it fainted was basculegion icon
I think doing a team of the pre-evolution hisuian forms would be fun: hisuian growlithe, sneasel, qwilfish, zorua, sligoo, and voltorb.
A deer team: 4 forms of Sawsbuck, stantler, and Wyrdeer.
And a bear team: teddiursa/kubfu, ursaring, ursaluna, chubchoo, beartic, and urshifu
Isnt Wave Crash basculegion's move? All the starter moves, Headlong rush for Torterra, Raging Fury for Infernape, and Wave Crash for Empoleon were also given to a different Hisui mon and Basculegion had crash.
Last Respects is such a crazy move by itself. Add tera and adaptability and anything that isn't immune or resists the move will get shredded in the late game.
Nicen vid and stantler CAN get psyshield bash through breeding pimp. I was doing breeding last night and hatched one that had it. It seems in SV its treated like an egg move

I'm 99% percent sure Wyrdeer is pronounced "Weird Deer" and not "Why Deer", though the latter does pose an interesting existential question
Primal forms are considered megas, they haven't been in game since 1912. As for why deer? It's like kanga mate, delicious.

I don't have PLA, so I traded my 3 galar birds for a shiny ursaluna and an evolving of my own shiny stantler!😅🤷🏾♂️ I really wanted to use those mons asap...inpatient as hell! Is it worth getting pla? I think they should give pla to everyone that bought bdsp.

How can Basculegion know Last Respects? I thought only Houndstone would use that move.

First opponent: Ibuki, a normal girl's name. Third opponent: "Touchi", as a foreign word, so it might have meant "Touchy", but it wouldn't be pronounced right even though the Roman alphabet version would make it seem that way. Fourth was "Sana", rendered as a foreign name, so possibly its Arabic version even though it's also a Japanese girl's name. Also, there's Double Iron Bash for a bash move, but I'm not sure if Melmetal is allowed in this game still.
I do legit wish that they'd bring back the gimmicks from prior gens like Megas as mega evo did really shift up the viability of a good number of the mons who gained one
